A good start too the grow, put into damp tissue for a couple of days for germination. Only took 2 days in total until all had sprouted nicely. Went down too plant them on an absolutely miserable day, it was torrential rain out there.. But i had no option really as the sprouts were just getting too big and they needed too be put in immediately. What a walk back after planting, got really drenched. 😅 I wasn't sure if they would all drown with the rain out there but i took the risk and they managed too survive when i went up next time. 😎 👌
Good week, Lots of Progression. Coming along really nicely. All looking extremely healthy at this point. Been giving bio-Rhizotonic every two too three days for the first 2 weeks.
All going really well so far. All looking very healthy. Had a fair bit of rain recently so not too much need too water often. Going up in 2 week intervals from here on until about week 6 where i might go more frequently depending on things.
A brilliant couple of weeks just passed, came too check on them and all looking fine. Really healthy and looking promising at this point. Couple of weeks more until flowering begins i think.
Well a slightly disappointing arrival today on the 27th august.. Got up there and found a lot of shredded leaves and a few fallen over plants from heavy winds. Had a bit of a storm over the past couple of weeks on and off.. Lots of wind and rain, thunder and lightning struck too. After leaving the plants for another 2 weeks they have put on a fair bit of growth. But as for the plants which had fallen over, most the leaves all drooping too as the rain has been so devastatingly torrential. I have tried too compact the soil around the main stem and tap root as too make them sturdy again. Both of the wedding cheese cakes and the bigger one of the girl scout cookies are the plants which has fallen over from the wind. I am hoping they shall restore and give me a bountiful harvest yet. Although winds aren't showing signs of coming too an end just yet. I should have tied the plants up i think but i didn't tie them and am hoping the soil compaction will keep them in place until my next outing. I trimmed all the really damaged leaves back a bit so there going too be fairly stunted from this i think.. But they still look like they have a fighting chance. Trying too keep my hopes up at this point, but with only 4 - 5 weeks left, i have my eyes on the prize. Gotta try and keep positive about the situation yet. 🙏👊 Am also glad too find pistils forming on every one of the plants now on the brighter side of things. As long as the plants dont get blown out the ground again things should go smoothly until the bud rot comes into play.. Haha, Oh, The Joys. 😂
Not been a brilliant few weeks, weather wise.. One of my girl scout cookies was destroyed by the wind. I thought i had saved the 3 plants which were damaged by wind last week, but more hit us again and i went up today and 2 of them had sorted them selves out ok but the 3rd one was as good as dead. Decided too pull it out and count my losses. Apart from that the others still look like they got hope. Was all looking perfect until this recent storm hit. Hopefully things go well over the final few weeks now.
Well it had been around 10 days since the last visit. But too my surprise they are doing spectacularly. I was worried as we had a dry spell for the whole 10 days and wasn't sure they'd have enough water, But they had managed just fine. Had a nice growth spurt since last time, i assumed they had reached there maximum height. I think they should pack on some weight in the coming Week/Weeks. Gave a nice feed too make up for the 10 days today and fed with 4 litres per plant. I was aiming too have them finished around now till the end of September. It looks like we may have rain coming in one weeks time which also wont help if there in full flower then. But we shall see what happens... Hopefully all goes well for a smooth ending. 😎
They are looking reasonably good at the minute i would say. Although a couple of hic ups along the way. I found a fair bit of bud rot on a couple of plants already, fairly early into flower.. I tried too remove it by pinching the infected parts of budlets off with my nails. I am not sure whether this is good practice though as i guess it could just re infect the open cuts on the budlets.. I am hoping it will turn out ok. A couple of the plants look very tiny as well and seem too be finishing ripening off already which seems far too early. Not sure why this keeps happening. One of them looks very scrawny like no bud there at all and seems too be finishing off. But i shall wait another week or so if i have too and see if there is improvement. They should be finishing off within the next week though and it looks like we have a wet spell on the horizon as well, in just a couple of days time. I was hoping it would be dry until harvest now, Gotta live with the circumstances sometimes though. 😎
Had a nice dry spell for about 4 days in the past week, after leaving it for 7 days I decided too head back up there. I finished harvesting the remainders of the 2 plants I started too Harvest last week. I also took what I could from the second wedding cheesecake plant as well as we have heavy rain overnight and it looks just about there, pistils turning brown but still few whites in there. I think if it were going too be dry it'd have been worth leaving for a bit more. The other 4 I have left up there as most pistils are still white but not long left I don't think. Going too risk it through the rain, i was trying too decide whether or not too pull them all up early but it seems like such a shame too do so when there not ripened at all.
Since the last time I checked which was only 3 days they had done exactly what I was hoping but not expecting. Most the pistils turned from white too orange, Signaling the right time too take them down. I could have left them longer if the weather was on my side too really finish off ripening but we have very bad rain forecast the next couple of days so I took what I could while I could. Not massive buds on most these autos, due too weather more than anything I think but I do have a couple of Nice Colas, the best one being the second Strawberry Pie. It looks Phenomenal! Absolutely Beautiful Stunning Colors too it, and I have tasted the other plant of it which wasn't quiet as good but it tastes/smells Divine. So Glad I made it up there today as the Cola of that strawberry Pie had just about finished off bang on time Before this Torrential down pour. I have left a few of the lower bits on 4 of the plants too see if They will make it through it and hopefully fatten up a little bit. All good though, Am definitely pleased With the grow and have enjoyed it. So happy too make it too the end of it all, well Still have 3 Photos up there also but it's all gone pretty well so far and I shall have a nice stash over Winter. 😎👊
Just thought I'd add an extra section just with all of the third part of harvest hanging up together, most of the 7 remaining Auto's. Had too pull slightly early due to torrential rain and strong winds forecast.. I had to salvage what I could, not worth the risk although I may have been able too get a lot more weight packed on. Also got some pics of all of the Harvest in Jars Curing. Total Weight worked out at around 3 Oz which isn't too bad I guess. 😎
One of the best strains I have witnessed as of yet. Grew wonderfully, the bigger phenotype of the 2 was magnificent. Amazing stature, massive thick leaves due too the Indica heritage. Really well spread out as well without any LST. Along with the nutrients I had used she came up amazing, the Main Cola is just Stunning too look at with purple tinges and amazing light orange hairs. Can Most Definitely smell/taste the Strawberries and fuel. What more can I say everyone should try this strain at least once. Good stuff! 💪
It was an absolute pleasure too grow this plant. Beautiful colors and bud formation. I had 2 very different phenos, one much bigger. Bit of bud rot on these and rain coming in, so had too pull the first one up Earlier, i left the other as all of its pistils were still white and still had plenty too put on. October 2nd I pulled the second one up and she had finished off perfectly such good timing infact with the coming forecast of torrential wind and rain. Good job I made it up there at 6 AM, was lucky I woke up without an alarm. All worked out well with this one, Highly impressed. Most beautiful Cola I have ever grown. Amazing aromas of strawberries and fuel. Fair play Fast Buds, Good job on this one. 😇👌
Really relaxing High off this one, Tastes/smells very cheesy and sweet, can taste vanilla as well sometimes. Was nice too grow, but both plants did suffer a hit from some strong wind we had i was lucky too get up there in time too save them.
A nice plant too grow, Good strong structure. I think i could have left them in longer but had pulled up due too rain and wind. Lovely Aroma and taste, and a good high too suit. Perfect for a relaxing night in and too settle down before sleeping but also quiet uplifting too if you listen too music or watch something. 👌
I wasn't sure what too expect from this one, But it exceeded my expectations. An extraordinary strain too grow, I am Delighted with this one. Very strong resistance too the elements and disease. Beautiful Strong Aroma of sweet and sour Grapefruit! Delicious.. 👌
A Beautiful Strain too Grow. Nice small compact size, and puts on a fair bit of weight. Nice Solid Nuggets, One big Main Cola. Could have left for longer, But due too weather I had too pull slightly early. Seemed too handle a bit of wet though, but got a couple days torrential rain coming along and not worth the risk. Wonderful Aromas and not even dry or cured yet. 😵
This one grew really tall and bushy, was expecting the flowers too fatten up a lot more. I had too pull slightly early due too weather, as she still had some white pistils coming out so possibly could have got better if I left her longer. I notice that each phenotype comes out differently though and not sure if it is just the seed. Absolutely coated in trichomes and wonderful Aromas. Earthy, Minty, Fuel like aromas and flavour. Good stuff. Nutrients i used worked a charm. 👊
A Beautiful strain too grow, She developed nice purple tinges in late flowering. Aroma is out of this world.. She grew a very nice stature, very tall, lots of side branches and was well spread out even leaving her naturally with no LST done. I had too pull slightly soon without hesitation as Forecast was terrible for the following couple of days. I don't think this is her full potential at all, but the quality is definitely there. 😎👌
I had 2 plants originally but lost one due too wind and rain which I had managed too save one time but it got hit again and I got up and the whole plant was wilted terribly. The plant that died was unfortunately the better looking one, she was a lot bigger and darker green. I think something went wrong with the survivor as well and she has very tiny little budlet's although very compact and got a fantastic aroma with some nice purple tinges in the flowers. Smells Sweet, Earthy and Minty and tastes too match. Good stuff for night or day. 😎
Wonderful strain, just disappointed with losing the better phenotype and only getting such a small amount off her. Definitely not grown too her full potential here. But I am guaranteed a quality smoke even if it is only a Quarter. 😌
