First Attempt - First LST

Arandhir For the light I'll use a standard mechanic timer. Smart Life's temperature/humidity sensor. Smart Life's smart sockets for Fan, Exhaust, Humidifier. The light will be on at 16:00 and off at 12:00, the chosen cycle is 20/4 The humidifier will be ON until we'll reach 70% then will stay OFF until we stay over 60% For this week the fan is scheduled ON 1/2 hour every 2 hours. Exhausts fan will be ON 10 minutes every 4 hours. The fan can handle around 100M3/H so in 10 minute we'll have a total air change. day 5 watering The Auto Kong looks fine but the Automaria looks ugly... will see in the next days

Arandhir Day 8 - Automaria starts with a little recovery on the new leaves. Very happy about Kong. Day 9 - I've installed a Raspberry with a webcam and motion service. I can now take a look without open the tent. Kong reached 10cm Automaria still 6cm. Probably will watering tomorrow, let's see. Day 10 - Switched humidity at 60%. Automaria started with a small recover, probably will take times to start with stong vegetation. Kong 11cm, Automaria 6cm. Still early for watering. Day 11 - Kong almost 12 cm. With the Automaria I noticed a big reprise. Watered both. In the next watering, I will start to add "Fish mix" to maximize the growth. Day 12 - Today I'm away with my family so no updates at all. Day 13 - Kong reached 14 cm, Automaria 8 cm. The Automaria started to run almost normal. Probably will be ready later. Day 14 - The soil looks dry but the pot still heavy so I still have to wait 2 or 3 days to water. Probably this is the moment where to start with LST but this is my first attempt so this time will skip the training. Troubles of the week: My Access Point hanged up and the smart sockets aren't so smart without a network. I bought another antenna and I'll fix this ASAP. In the meanwhile, I manually turned on/off humidifier checking every 3-4 hours the current humidity. Week conclusions: Automaria started to run almost normal, she grows slow but grows. Probably this strain or this specific seed is different for any reason I don't know. If she will reach 10/11 cm before the next watering, I will start with grow Nutrient, otherwise I'll just water the plant without nutrients. For the Kong strain, I noticed that develops 5 nodes around 2 weeks so, for the future, I will start with LST 2 weeks after she sprout

Arandhir Day 15 - Soil really and unexpected dry so I watered with Fish Mix. In 2 weeks I will replace it with Bio Grow. Since plants are bigger now I start to use 500ml of water per plant instead 300ml Day 16 - Probably I will start to try to LST my Automaria, the smallest and underdevelopped. Since I start to add Fish Mix I noticed a big reprise. Let's try, let's learn... Day 17 - LST to Automaria, 1st LST at all. Kong is about to become King Kong. So curious to test LST. Day 18 - Let's bend more Day 19 - Soil so dry for the Kong, tomorrow will water, still early for Maria. Took a llok to LST, fixed it a little bit, added 20cm to LSTed pot to take more light Day 20 - Kong has been watered, now the plant has a weak smells. LST has been modified a little bit.

Arandhir Day 23 - Watering both - next watering will be with different nutrients since they should start flowering very soon. The plant is 34cm Day 24 - Still thirsty Kong? I can't believe let's wait a while before feed again probably I'm tired. The plant is 36cm Day 25 - Watering Kong - The pot was really light Probably now she needs more feed. Today Kong reached 40cm Day 27 - Watering both - Started with flowering nutrient mix, we should see pistils soon Day 28 - Kong is 50cm! We have pistils on both plants, this means that flowering phase has begun. Soil so dry this means I have to fill better the pots. Tomorrow will try to find out the maximum pots capacity.

Arandhir Day 29 - Watering - The pots contains between 800ml and 900ml, Let's see the water needs. Kong 53 cm. Grow-bloom-topmax setted at 1 ml/L Day 30 - Kong 56cm, Maria started to show where buds will be placed and I was expecting more... Next time i should try to LST a Kong strain. Today placed the dehumid and programmed smart as well. I have to keep humid under 55%. Day 31 - No time today just a photo...pot is empty... again Day 32 - Watering Kong, Maria can wait - I have to clean dead leaves, tomorrow I should have more time to do the job. Day 34 - Watering both, removed yellow bottom leaves. I duobled TopMax and BioBloom Day 35 - Nice flowers! Kong reached 70cm and looks really strong. Tomorrow probably will be the watering day. Now my ladies needs around 3 watering per week

Arandhir Day 36 - Let's start a new week. Both Kong and Maria today are so thirsty. Let's watering. Flowers looks great. The LST is starting to show his advantages: it's a small buds' show. Kong has less Buds but bigger. Day 37 - Happy plants grow, Nothing relevant to say Day 38 - Watering both, Kong needs a lot of water, around 800ml each 2 days Maria around 800ml each 4 days Day 39 - Everything looks fine except humid. Day 40 - It's hard to keep humid under control with my de-humidifier... When it rain the humid arrives around 65% but should be around 45% in these days. Extra checks for mold. Day 41 - Watering both - around 20 days left, around 3 weeks. I adjusted BioStuff mix. Day 42 - Little defoliation on both. I will clear better with the next watering. No issues this week except smell which is becoming strong. Fortunately I have an active carbon filter. Next time I need to mount non-return valve because smell exits on bottom hole which is intended for air IN and not OUT. Something to keep in mind...

Arandhir Day 43 - Watering - Buds are becoming bigger, still 20 days to wait. Now the goal is to be careful with nutrients, I can't make mistakes. In 4/5 days I am going to add flowering nutrients then I have to use a magnifier to understand when start to wash roots. Day 45 - Watering Day 46 - Looking at the leaves, probably I have an excess of nutrients. Next watering will adjust the mix. I will take a look at my schema to understand exceeded and needed ok N-P-K, probably I have so much N Day 47 - Watering - I decided to step back with calmag and BioGrow, will use only TopMat and BioBloom. Let's wait next watering to adjust the aim Day 49 - I like my buds. Trichomes still transparent, but we need 11 days more at least.

Arandhir Day 50 - Watering - Switched to FishMix instead BioGrow because some friend's recommendation. Start with medium defoliation. Day 51 - Defoliation made his job. Self note, I have to start early next time. Now the smell is really strong. Thanks carbon filter for your great job Day 52 - Watering - some pistils start to turn amber but, looking at the magnifier, trichomes still not ready. Probably will start to flush roots in 5 days Day 53 - 60 days will be not enough for my babies, probably I have to wait at least 2 more weeks. Let's see Day 54 - Look at trichomes, still transparent Day 55 - Watering Day 56 - around 5% of pistils are turning brown

Arandhir Day 57 - I have excesses of nutrients. Start to wash soil and roots. Maria is close to finish her life cycle. Probably will harvest in some days. Day 58 - Around 10-15% of brown pistils, was a good idea to start to wash the roots. I think I would water again tomorrow. Day 60 - Watering Day 61 - Maria has 30% of brown pistils and trichomes are starting to turn milky, harvest is coming. Kong needs more P!! She is also far from harvest. I will watering with nutrients tonight Day 62 - Kong feels better, some signs of P deficiency has gone, still needs time btw. Maria is ok and doesn't need water for now. Day 62 - Watering

Arandhir Day 64 - ok... I need help -_- Day 65 - Waiting for the next watering. Due to nutrients lockout I'm facing, will be with only fresh water. I will use a standard commercial water taking care of PH. Day 67 - Watering, both close to the harvest. Around 30/40% of brown pistils and good trichomes. Probably this was the last watering. Day 69 - Today I cut out my babies, placed both upside down and set up triggers for fans. No, isn't a horror story but a love one. In 2 weeks I should have some photos about the harvest so I'll update my diary with other info. I have to pay more attention at plant signals. For the next grow I decided to plant just one strain spending more time for LST and probably I will also experiment ScrOG. I'm pretty new to this world and I want to test things.

Arandhir Day 5 - Today I tested a 0,2g. Well, still to early to judge... Good puffs. She needs to stay under glass a little longer but I'm really satisfied. Day 45 after harvest - Now I can really enjoy it. Shecan hit you in the ground but is also relaxing if took with care.

Arandhir This strain required more cures but I hadtroubles in the very first days. By the way I really enjoy her. If you have to run, it's the right choice
