The seed spent 12 hours float in a glass of water. When poked it dropped to the bottom so I placed it into into damp kitchen paper and into a plastic sandwich bag.
Starting this one because another seed failed. So I placed this into the tent for warmth from the lights but wrapped a black tshirt around it to keep out the brightness.
Root tip was a cm long after 12hrs so placed it in a rootIt plug after wetting it with some light nutrient solution. Popper the humidity dome on and away we go.
Let's hope she'll take off and not leave my other plant an only child.
Update:
Her tap root flew down to the bottom of the rooter pod and kept going. I was worried about the like of branching roots but she eventually produced those today.
So with the roots system matured I transplanted her into a solo cup. 67% coco and 33% perlite. She looks so tiny in there but hopefully in a few days time she'll need to be transplanted into her final pot.
