Flush time! :D Looks like a week or two to go now. So pure water feeds from now on. The smell is very sweet and berry'ish. Can't wait to get her cured 8)

Grow Questions

Starting to see some weird spots on the lower leafs. Anyone know what it might be?

That is thrip damage and the black spots are Thrip poop. 100% no question. Adult thrips lay eggs in the soft parts of the plant/leaves. Eggs hatch to larvae and the larvae literally suck the sap and sugars right out of the plants cells. ( This should leave marks on your leaves) The larvae then fall to the soil, to pupate. Once, they pupated, they hatch into adults with wings and a spikey abdomen, and crawl up to the leaves to start the process again. I haven't had much luck with soaps and neem oils because you need to saturate every part of the plant, and these guys like to hide in hard to get spots. Buy some Amblyseius cucumeris predator mites, they live soley on thrip eggs and larvae. Place these on the stems/leaves. Put Diatomaceous earth on the top layer of soil to prevent the larvae from pupating in the soil. Once you have the mites killing the larvae and eggs, and the diatoms killing the pupae, this should interrupt the cycle. In your second pic you can see the thrip larvae chilling in the vein of the leaf in the center! Best of Luck!

@aRecreationalist, I am about to start 3....I just had a failed crop and was devastated when I had to rip them out and bin them. The main problem I have is room temp. Its only 2C where I live

@Th4tbl0ke, she's almost ready for harvest, just a little bit longer. But from the smell I can already tell that she's gonna have a lot of jar appeal ๐Ÿ˜Ž Buds also seems very dense !

Hi Mate I am very interested in how you grew this. It is cold where I live. How did you keep your room warm or do you live in a warm climate country Cheers

aRecreationalistcommented4 years ago
@Th4tbl0ke, Hey there, I got a little grow room outside under a slanted roof. Insulated it with some rockwoll, plastic and then mdf wood. So I can keep the little room warm with a temperature controlled oil radiator. There's still some leaking, but nothing bad and usually it's 20 degrees in the tent with the lights on. But here it's only down to -5c right now.

I know this report is old, but congratulations an thank you for documenting. Wanting to start this strain under 12/12 directly so this report helps a lot to determine whatโ€™s possible ๐Ÿ˜
