Hi there LST goes on constantly she started going crazy growing rapidly. All good nothing really to say everything continues the same way as well as it was before regarding fertilization that happens with the mix above.
Day 44, 24th of October 2020:
Hi there! Here we go! I have topped her 10x - 10 branches so all good. Looks healthy and stuff but I need to slow her down a bit so switched back only to blue and white light. The red is only on from 11pm to 11 am when there is an other plant in flowering. All good everything continues the same like it was.
Day 51, 31st of October 2020:
Well, My second RQS plant and also my 2nd Gelato from them sound like i have olny grown Gelato from them and yes ....
I went on holiday for 6 days my friend looked after her she significantly added size since then.... she is bushy and lot of leaves strong thick main stalk....
Easy to see great genetics! Triangle baby....
Let's see gow she is when flowering starts....
Smell is coming also I just placed an order to have an extraction fan kit with filter which is with me by now and already assembled but not in use yet.
I needed to do LST so the first 3 pictures before the rest is taken after...
24 hours darkness was set to be and then switches the lamp today to be 12/12....
I am pretty excited especially to see some nice purple colours haha.........
Next week starts more aggressive fertilization as well as she requires ....
We are here let's take the chance and make her nice bud queen ;)
Day 58, 7th of November 2020:
The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12...
I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plant remains in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant....
Nice thick plant ...strech is on the way albeit she hasn't grown that much yet. ..... 😅
Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Nice! Topping has stopped her to grow and strech too much which is good she is more chubby type strain so i expect some thickness lol....
Pre flowers and pistils are out so just waiting for the fruit lol ;)

Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above.
I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....
Day 72, 21st of November 2020:
Great. Typical Indica no much strech after topping no problem with her at all. May be she need a bit less nitrogen.
Great work from RQS and I hope she will turrn to be purple a bit in the end. Nice smell tho.....
Buds are coming and getting fat looking great.
Fertilization is the same every 2nd day with the mix and the ratio above....
All LST has been removed as the plant remains the same so no need to keep her in "chains".
The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min.
Last week was 15 min longer light cycle....
So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.
Day 79, 28th of November 2020:
If I say I was very excited to grow her then it is true. She is like a very sweet and adorable animal so quiet and no problem with her at all. You know what I mean..... No any issue she grows creating nice buds not big strech....
Totally perfect for begginners..... I am very happy about it. She was a great decision to be grown ;)
Fertilization is still the same every
second day with the rationand mixture above stated.
The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min.
Last week was 15 min longer light cycle....
So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.
Day 86, 5th of December 2020:
Lovely solid plant! No complain at all, no problem at all. Easy to grow ;)
Not much to report we are here at the 5th week and I am happy with her!
The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter.
Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.
Day 96, 15th of December 2020:
Hi! A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one.
She is one of the most calm plant I have ever grown.
I like the easy growing style as she is an issue free lady.... not much strech... no craving for nutritients just being there and grow, flower and looking good.
Buds are nice she is a little bushy player... ;)
I am sure the smoke will be amazing.
I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts.
She is ok to be cut now but no time as I leave but nk problem to be a bit longer....
The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December....
Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used.
Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off....
The last 4 days she will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)
Hi! Finally got here to be able to cut...
Honestly she was ready approx 1.5 week ago but I was away and I couldn't even come back due to this COVID bug shit....
I had to harvest 11 plants at the same time so could not really make a tons of pictures this time I used last taken pics and videos in order to present the "whole plant" as she has not changed a lot only got a bit fatter lol 🤪🤪🤪
I provided 4 days of darkness and 4 days without watering before she was cut.
This plant again a big big big like to Royal Queen Seeds.... Amazing creation the triangle love. Thank you to the company and James providing me this lovely creature.
I absolutely recommend for begginers and everyone if you want to grow RQS genetics and wanna choose one because:
I. Easy to grow she is not "spoiled at all" and not really sensitive so more less nutritient or water she takes well.
(She was a bit slower growing lady at the beggining but later found herself)
II. You don't need to worry about streching that much especially if you top her, yes because not every plant cares about topping too much i am telling you just feel free to look around :)
So growing this beauty is easy. Well, I have performed many techniques here especially LST but used FIMming and then Topping and specially topping more branches at the same time.
Flowering? Amazing she creates nice buds well, for me the plant itlsef did not get purple (the leaves what I mean) but the flowers a bit pinky which is so so nice like the medium steak.
Smell is great if you smell from very close you got that pine smell. Gorgeous.
And yes, I am alright with the quantity she was grown next to 10 other plants so this lamp is amazing (ViparSpectra PAR 600).
I am absolutely 💯 satisfied with this creation and the easiest word that describes her is that she is calm and tame.
Smoking report will be updated once we get there to be able to smoke :)

UPDATE SMOKING REPORT:
Time has come. Beautiful nugs nicely cured together and the smell is just amazing pine one.
Effect: Exactly as it is described by the breeder... euphoric, uplifted hits you quite quick. It does not tie you in one place but strong stuff.... so you can smoke during the day if you can handle lol.... ;)
Let's say it is balanced gives mind and body high as well I am absolutely satisfied and met with my expectations :)
Finally: 10 stars to grow..... and of course 10 stars to smoke! Go for it!

I think when I run out of synthetic nutes I'm switch to organic and implement some KNF techniques for my outdoor at least. my girlfriend one days might toss my stuff out the window but it's a risk well worth taking. she's gonna flip out when see she's a bunch of mason jars with differente colonies of indeginous micro organisms and lacto bacillus bacteria. Im facsinated with soil biology. but I gotta break her in slow. we live in a small flat with very little space so she's got a point. insanely high rent too. don't even know what we're still doing here. I'm burnt out of the city life. I feel trapped here man, my soul doesnt belong here. I'm a country guy and that's that.

My wife really wants me to grow wedding gelato and I am thinking about it. But how dark does the dark period need to be to trigger flowering? I use a storage cupboard so I am scared that the gaps in the doors will F it up... Also once you switch it into flowering, how strict do you need to be maintaining that 12/12 once flowering starts?

@Namlah, Hi there and thanks for your question.
I. Firstly, it is very important to not to have any light "leakings" whe they "sleep" because she can get back to veg stage or worse she will be hermaphrodite. She can get confused... so make sure your room properly has the right environment.
II. The plants hormones think winter comes so she does not rely on temperature - more about the sunny hours. When she receives less than 14 -13 hours of light she thinks winter comes and starts flowering. This is how dark period triggers flowering. I also recommend to keep in darkness 3 days before switching to 12/12 and then the hormones activates quicker so she will be triggered to flower faster lol managed to write it down 🤪
III. How strict? Very strict.... Well if it happnes that by accident lamp is on longer just keep going. More about sudden light leakings or light penetretion when she is in darkness that is worse. If your lamp is on longer just keep going with the normal flowering schedule once and it is okay but do not repeat it all the time. Some of them more sensitive depends on the type of the strain so please make sure you provide strictly the 12 hours if it is longer darkness no problem she will flower faster but "less" yield.
What I do is every week i make shorter the days with 15 min so she gets in 4 weeks total 1 hour plus darkness like in the nature and then back to 12/12 to have better yield. Huhh. Hope it helps. Regards.

@DaSofaSurfer, Actually I cut it out with scissor.... No needed.... i didn't follow the instructions. What i did is just placed the seeds in the water for 12 hours and then placed between damp kitchen papers and they started germinating.
I didn't let the tap root so long let's say maximum 1.5 - 2cm long because it is micro pot so after hard to place them in. I also made bigger hole in it and put water to be very wet covered the small hole with my finger at the bottom to be like a sponge lets say for 15 second after released the water.
I planted the seed put some soil on the top and sprayed.
Next day they are out. So basically, I haven't used as a germinator - I used as a pot after germination. Really nice quality plants love it.
Great job @James I love that product... I will keep them for next time just changing the soil. Other reason being used because I don't have a space now so it is easy to keep them there after a while reporting. Thanks. From now on I will always start the process with this kit 😍
