Day 1 - decided to stop counting from seed being planted in favour of starting the count from when I see a sprout. A sprout is just poking it's head from below the coir, so today is day 1.
Have learned from her grow partner that topping/fimming seems to work, so she got the snip also. Sorted out the water issues, and finally have the environment back under control. ph/nutes are back as I want them, but at the end of this grow, I'm going to clean everything out and start fresh. The set up I have is now about months old. I want to change the grow space, and perhaps invest in a tent. Concerned that winter is going to have an impact on growing.
OK, so topping/Fimming seems to have merely clipped leaves rather than anyting else. She's looking short and stout, but my expectations on this one are low. I've not done a good job on this grow, and I think it's time (after this grow) to completely start again - everything cleaned up properly, fresh everything, use a tent. No evidence of flowering yet either, but looks liek she may be there or thereabouts.
Very slow grower here. She's still very compact, and no sign of flowering yet. Not sure she's very happy, and had another go at fim'ing her. The last time didn't do anything more than clip some bits off the end of the leaves. She's looking healthy though, so that's good.
She's just looking absolutely fantastic. Lots of green growth, still quite short, but this is what I was hoping to achieve - short, compact plants. Seems a little slow to start flowering but there's no rush.
