We've started sprouting 4 seeds of Jack 47 Auto XL and 1 seed of Sweet Cheese Auto XL. Unfortunately one seed of Jack 47 Auto XL and the seed of Sweet Cheese Auto XL haven't grown up, so we decided to use 2 seeds we had at home: Auto Critical Orange Punch (Dutch Passion) and Amnesia XXL Auto (Dinafem). There's almost a week of difference between the first sowing and the second one, but looking at the times declared by the producers we hope to harvest all the plants at the same time. At the moment seems that the Jack 47 plants are growing well, and the 2 other plants are starting to sprout without problems. Stay tuned!
The second week is going pretty well for the Jack 47 plants, the only problem is that plant 1 have a leaf with some spots. I'll monitor it in the next few hours looking for an eventual expansion of the problem, and eventually I'll search for a solution. Anyone of you have never seen spot like these? The other 2 plants are growing well.
The situation seems perfect to me. The Jack 47 plants are growing fast and good looking, the problem of the plant 1 is disappeared (spots on a leaf). I think we'll start the The other 2 plants are growing well, I'm using the nutrient mix of the last week (Grow A 1ml/l + Grow B 1ml/l + B-52 1 ml/l + Voodoo Juice 1ml/l) cause the gap of one week.
This week is going great, the Jack 47 Auto plants are exploding and I think that the time of flowering is coming soon. We can now clarely see the difference of the phenotype beetween plant 3 and the other two of Jack 47.
Also the other 2 strains are going well, but my preoccupation is that 5 plants are too much for my 1*1 m grow box. My idea is that I can trim the Critical Orange Punch (the central one) making it grow into one big bud. I think this method can make me gain space and at the same time not make me throw the whole plant away.
NEWS OF THE WEEK: I've bought a new lamp, the Horus Special 540 W by Dolomiti Grow. This one is so much powerful compared to the old Bysen, I hope that we''ll see the difference when the harvest time will come. We'll see.
The new lamp is INCREDIBLE! The growth in one single week has been powerful, at least. Now the plants are in full shape and in flowering, excluding the Amnesia XXL Auto, and I'm treating them with a new nutrients cocktail. For the Amnesia XXL Auto I'm still watering with the last week cocktail. I'm providing the Bud Candy only to the plant 3 of Jack 47 Auto because a friend of mine tell me that it alters tastes so I want to try it and feel the difference.
This week I've decided to concentrate the forces on the top buds, so I've trimmed branches and leaves under the grid. Now is flowering the Amnesia too, so I've started to watering it with the same mix of the other plants (excluding the plant 3 of Jack 47, the only one that's taking the Bud Candy). Seems that everything is going well, I hope in a very good harvest. The only doubt I have is that 5 plant is too much for 1*1 m grow box, I was thinking to trim all the branches of the Critical Orange Punch, apart of the central one. The goal is to grow a single big bud in the middle of the grow box. Is that a good idea?
I've decided to maintain the Critical Orange Punch, we'll see how it will go. At the moment all the plants seems strong and healthy, the smell is beautiful and they promise a huge harvest.
This week didn't go very well due to a calcium and magnesium deficiency, thankfully resolved within a few days. Now the plants are healthy and growing well, we hope that this will continue until harvest
We're still going, after the CalMag deficit some leaves are remained yellow but seems that it's not a problem: the buds are growing well and the smell is beautiful. According to the seed houses in theory the Jack 47 should be ready, but it seems that there are at least another 2 weeks left.
Thanks for sharing a new diary with some of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
Once finished, with the final notes of the strains, you can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!
