Growing "outdoors" (on my balcony) in western Greece in early autumn in a small 5L pot in soil. Mixed 25g of all-purpose easy boost organic nutrition and abt 5g of mycorrhiza mix in the soil, watered using bottled drinking water (no pH testing or water processing equipment available) and pretty much left it alone after that. This is a COMPLETE AMATEUR grow, in fact this is my very first seed to germinate. The purpose of this grow is to A)stop wasting money on dubious "street vendors" and B)figure out if it is possible to grow my very own weed and to what extend using minimal equipment and nothing but my Google search skills and patience and hopefully prove that you really don't need much to grow-your-own even as a total N00B as myself. Thank you!

Seeing how this is my very first grow I thought I shouldn't do anything "funny" and just watch its normal growth so I can compare later. However as this was growing really nice I decided to try topping it anyway and at the same time plant a new one (to be left alone for real this time) in a fresh pot and compare against that instead. Day 21 update, lots of fresh growth, baby seems to have taken well to topping, however I planted another one of its kind a couple of days ago in order to compare. She has also started developing a very faint smell (reminds me of lavender). Looking good so far I believe!

will post a question, someone PLEASE tell me these are not boy-parts Day 26 update, she's taken the topping like a champ, new top branches have seriously grown and she has finally popped pistils (they are seriously TINY but they are DEFINITELY there), started feeding them RQS bloom booster tablets, watering at about 500ml every other day now

I've looked at other diaries of the same strain and it seems like they future bud sites but I really don't like their shape. I have a confirmed female of a different strain growing next to it and I need to find out soon. Please help!

Day 29, she has picked up quite a bit of speed and has nearly doubled her height in the last 10 days. Watering at about 0.5l every other day, the companion growth underneath (Cerastium and red clover) help greatly in retaining moisture in the soil (not to mention fixing nitrogen!). Had to leave them alone for like 3 days last week and there was seriously no sign of drought when I got back, the very top of the soil was indeed dry but less than a cm underneath there was still plenty of moisture. Went back to normal bottled (7.6pH according to the label) water this week, will go back to the bloom booster tablets next week to help ease them into it. Pistils and tiny little buds EVERYWHERE with a still very faint but now distinct and quite lovely lavender-like smell developing, can't wait for it to mature 😎 Day 34, I'm beginning to think that the companion undergrowth has begun stealing way too many nutrients at this point, especially that red clover. Seriously considering ditching it all at this point.

Day 38, little gorilla keeps stretching but has slowed her growth significantly now, only picked up abt 10cm in height since last week. Seems like we are in full flowering mode now so I switched her back to bloom booster watering. Decided to leave the undergrowth untouched for the time being and instead I'm considering a molasses/brown sugar feeding along with the bloom booster in a couple of days to revitalise the soil a bit.

Day 44, after a week of almost non stop rain the weather has finally turned, the lowered temperatures and lack of sunlight have taken their toll on all my plants yet in spite of that this one seems to be developing quite well with a healthy bit of frosting beginning to show on its tops. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Day 52, last few days have been quite sunny (with the occasional thunderstorm) and amply humid. Baby is doing great, her pistils have finally started turning red (maybe10% at this point). I am thinking about giving her one last bloom booster feeding tomorrow and start flushing (and washing, given my recent issues with leaf crawlers I have been spraying neem oil on and off and I should get rid of it somehow). Smells wonderful, the lavender smell she developed when she first started flowering is now supplemented by some even more wonderful pine tones which are making my eyes roll in their sockets!!! CAN'T WAIT, shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks until harvest now.

Day 60, Weather has been great all things considered. Baby hasn't grown at all but has been plenty busy ripening. She's been off bloom booster for almost a week now and I'm seeing significant fading/yellowing on the bottom fan leaves now. Upon closer inspection she shows 75% cloudy and 24% clear and maybe 1% red trichomes (very few but clearly showing). I think that with enough sunshine one more week should be enough to let me harvest it. Finally I have to mention that the lavendery smell it started off with 3 or 4 weeks ago has now been completely replaced by an earthy-diesel like smell which is... interesting to say the least.

Day 64, I'm considering harvesting soon. There is significant fading/yellowing along the entire stem and branches and on all but the very top fan leaves. Trichomes appear 89% cloudy, 10% red and 1% clear. She's been off bloom booster for almost 2 weeks now, I've flushed twice and given the amount of yellowing I believe that the organic pellets that were mixed in the soil have to be spent by now. How much longer???

At the moment I'm seeing 89% cloudy, 10% red and 1% clear trichomes. It is not very clear from the photos but from what I'm seeing through the magnifying lens this is how it seems. There is significant yellowing but also many white pistils.

if you are seeing that you probably have around a week left right now you can harvest but waiting until you see more amber or red is what you want to get the max thc. you can harvest any time you like now as it is all personal choice, right now you get more a heady high while waiting that head high will be stronger and possible couch lock. hope this helps

Day 69: I'm done waiting!!! I decided to cut one of the branches and sample it while I wait for the remaining 3 to fully mature. AND OOOOH BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! After a brief 3 day drying I rolled it up and suddenly the 3 months I've spent waiting for it made sense.

Started this almost 3 month ago out of frustration with the local "street vendors". One day I got up and being fed up with the poor quality and sky-high prices of the local "stuff" I decided I was gonna have no more of that and go on to grow my own. So I placed an order with RQS and one week later I was germinating my very first seed. This one. Being fortunate enough to live in the Mediterranean I already had more sunlight that I could possibly need. I did my homework and learned as much as I could on the subject and ready to embrace my shortcomings (lack of experience that is) I decided on a low-tech balcony grow. I though that, "if I can get ANYTHING usable with the smallest possible investment then it'll be worth it" and it really was. And this goes to prove that you really don't need much to get some top quality sh*t. Instead of fancy and expensive pH testers, hydroponics, nutrients and all the micromanagement that goes with it I decided to plan ahead and let Nature take her way. Given that the ideal growth pH is not an exact value but instead a range I planned ahead and found soil in that range from a local compost brand with a pH of 6.2, then I found some bottled drinking water with a pH of 7.4 to water it with (without having to worry abt chlorine and salts that come with tap water) and let nature take its course and allow it to naturally fluctuate and so I did. I filled the first 2cm of my pot with gravel and perlite, then I added the soil and mixed some more perlite, easy boost organic pellets and mycorrhiza. Planted the sprout I germinated earlier and then I waited, and waited, and waited. Occasionally I would water it too but mostly I waited. And oooh boy was it worth it!!!! As for the strain, it's everything it is advertised as. RQS came highly recommended for their ease of growth and quality of seeds and they delivered! The end product is exactly as described, a balanced mix of indica and sativa genetics in a compact size autoflower seed. The smoke tastes earthy and pine and the effect is overall very relaxing and a little bit giggly.
