Now when I am through the first challenges as a grower, looking into the next level challenges in this tour :)
I need to say, if the first week was the most boring (as they say), then hello fun!
Update: closer to the end of the week, I was advised by my guru to start using nutrients. I am using Advanced Nutrients: Micro and Grow which I will start at 0.5ml/l and gradually increase to 2ml/l over the course of 4 subsequent intakes. In addition I am using Piranha and B52 0.3ml/l each, which I will increase up to 1ml/l. First couple weeks I will use 1L water for both plants and will increase the volume of the water along with the plants growing. Fingers crossed.
Starting week three. Let's see what our young ladies have to present us with. I am also very curious whether they would enjoy the doubled doses of the dope: 3 ml/L first nutrition of the week on 20.09.20 and then in three days, on 23.09.20 reaching 6ml/L mark, where we will stay for the rest of the veg.
Update at the end of the week three. I had a major disaster in terms of one of the plants overdosing on nutrients which I started little earlier. So, the Acid, the stronger one had developed rusty spots on the lower leaves. and on 24.09.20 I had to wash Acid in 10L+ (2.5 gallons) water in my bathroom. Good that a friend from a local Seed Bank shop was around to help me undergo this quite tough challenge. Fingers crossed for out dearest Acid!
Thanks for stopping by. It cheers up a newbie grower a lot.
After facing the disaster our Acid sister got into on her day 20 when her soil had to be totally washed off to remedy the overdose by intake of nutrients. Banana Blaze on the other hand feels herself never better before. So she gets the entire liter of water with the nutrients.
I started week 4 still in vegetation for both of the plants. However, they started flowering soon after that. I am getting ready for rescheduling the nutrients for the flowering period of the plants. Today I had to give them 2ml of Revive (in total for both) as I noticed yellow spots on the leaves that may be because of the shortage of some minerals.
Flowering week started together with pretty fast vegetation. During last 10 days, both plants doubled in size. I remain hopeful that I will have yield that I will not be ashamed of sharing :)
Almost by the end of the week (at day 5(40)) reached 45 CM with Banana Blaze. I mean I would welcome up to 80 CM growth given the size of my grower. So I should be happy if this one finishes at 60CM or so. I'd be really proud by that.
As my girls and I are stepping into 8th week, I am seriously concerned with what should I do with the Acid which has stressed on day 20 and since is fighting for survival.
Well, into Week 10. Raisins are not as big as I would love too yet. This is my first grow in the soil. Let's see how much I could get out of the three weeks time remaining.
By the end of the week, with 2 final weeks, I am not so unhappy with my first ever grow results.
So this I think is the prefinal week. Buds are coming frostier and frostier, but not there yet. I guess this and week after it would do. This is why I started using overdrive to help her majesty complete her holy mission on earth. And of course - Acid, a reminder of my great failure I love you most <3 off to a final week.
Well, well, well Final week I believe. This week will proof whether I am a grower or not. I mean if I am not, I am not giving up or anything, I am just so curious of getting high of something grown by myself. 30 CM bud on the main stem does not look entirely bad for a first grow I believe, while Acid broom looking structure is a reminder of my failure. I drew many lessons from this grow session. I must say that if it were not for my grow guru, I would hardly come to this point ever in my life - thank you teacher!
So this week I got this amazing digital microscope. I observed both Acid and Banana Blaze THC levels in trichomes. They do not look too full, but lets see by the end of week. I place some of micro photos from the beginning of the week first.
