Second week as easy as the first, watering when needed. However decided as it is my second grow to be a bit more abitious and have topped this auto and I may top them once more once I get a few more nodes on each top.

Week 3, After topping and allowing her to recover I have started with LST to get the branches to span out a bit, I may top this plant 1 more time depending on how the grow continues. Again just watering when dry and also runnig this grow on a 24 hours light cycle as I heard of some people doing it. End of week edit: I have deicded that the plant looked rather stressed under 24/7 light cycle so have put it back to a 18-6 light cycle to allow the plant to rest each day as this worked well on my last grow. I have done some defoliation to the lowest of branches to stop them developing and wasting that energy when I would cut them off later.

Moving into the 4th week of this little beast, the shoots from the stems which I have used LST on are rising to the same height as the other tops and I think at this point I will stop with the LST and let it grow up as I am about a week from the start of flower and don't want my buds stretching into the walls of my small tent. I have been removing leaves when needed to keep light penetration good throughout the canopy and as I approach flower I have stopped feeding any CalMag and instead have switched into my BoiBizz bloom. I have had a slight pest problem in my soil (flies), so have been treating my plant with neem oil in dark period mixed with water which I apply by spraying down the plant and by the time my light comes back on the plant is dry to stop any kind of leaf burn. Will update later in the week with another photo or 2 and any issues that I run into but so far this has been great fun with topping. Happy growing people!

Hello again! Going into the start of week 5 today on the 18/09 and I have done my last bit of lst on the 2 taller branches and have defoliated for hopefully the last time so that light can get through to all bud sites. I am now going to switching to my flowering schedule which means I have dropped CalMag and will slowly increase my Bloom untill I reach close to 3ml/L. I was told by many people that Topping auto's was not a great idea as they dont have time to recover. However I have seen the opposite. It has kept my canopy much more even while producing many more topsites that hopefully will blossom in the coming weeks! This plant has been super easy to grow so far and I have not seen any issues with it so far. My first grow had some nutrient deficiencies around this point in the grow and I am carefully checking everything to try and ensure that I dont get this happening again however my first grow was fed the wrong nutes during veg which I have ensured doesnt happen this time around. Mid Week Edit: The canopy is looking good and even as she starts to move into flower, she almost fills my 2x2ft tent from wall to wall so I might not be able to take her out moving forward but it looks like she is going to be a beast of a plant.

Start of week 6 and shes going into flower now, lots of pistils shooting out. Hopefully she continues to grow like this all the way through. Mid week edit: leaves look droopy but thats because shes about to enter dark period. Pistils really popping out of her and the stretch has begun! Should see some big changes over the next week or 2. I have had no issues yet with this growm no nute burn, no deficiencies and no watering issues apart from my potential underwatering 1 day. Will leave her untouched and just water/feed for the next week while the strech happens and will then look to doing some defoliation to keep light penetration and also to keep the humidity down in the canopy as she continues to progress through flower. It has also grown 2.5inches in the past 3 days.

Starting week 7 in a really good position, she's blooming away and bud sites are exploding with pistils. I had a nute issues at this stage in my last grow and it slowed growth for 2-3 weeks. This time round I've not had the same issues and she's doing well. I've left the ties in place to stop branches getting too close and have selectively removed leaves that were blocking the lower bud sites to give them a better chance. Will update in 3-4 days with pics of how she's coming along. Mid week edit: Things still going well, no nute issues no Ph issues and no pests anymore after my small fly problem the first few weeks (althought they didnt seem to harm the plant) watering every other day and removing a few leaves here and there as they block bud sites. I have stopped the LST all together now and have just left the ties in place for spacing. see you in a few days! Happy growing homies!

Striding into week 8, the buds are just stacking on top of each other and I think she is going to yeild pretty big! Just trimming leaves to expose lower budsites as growth continues. She is almost too big for me to get out of my tent without snapping a branch or 2 off so the coming pictures might be not as well lit or under Burple lights :( . Sorry! I have started to reduce the amount of Grow I feed the plant and increasing my bloom nute up to 2.5m/L this week. Flowers are starting to frost up just a little bit and should see some great progression over the next week I hope! Will update with more Pictures later in the week! End of week edit: She has come out of the tent for the last time until harvest now, buds are really starting to pack on some serious weight and the branches are resting on the side of the tent, next grow I will be using a net to support the branches. Other than things going very well this week there isn;t much else to say other than, another 4 weeks seems optimistic at the moment for harvest. I think it may be 5-6 weeks, what do you guys think? Happy growing homies!

with royal I often find myself having to attach the tops with wires to the ceiling so that they remain straight, if some small branch then bends fix it to the main branch tied to the ceiling Hope to be useful and comprensive ✌️🏽

I noticed my light maybe isn't as good as it should be. I am going to get a mars hydro ts600 in 2ish weeks. Will I be ok to swtich lights towards the end of flower without any negative effects?

If it is significantly stronger, may want to ease them into it -- if no dmmer, than with height.. works well either way. I'd find a light with ~70-85 diodes per square foot utilizing samsung lm301b diodes (white) and a few 660nm red diodes mixed in. By doing this you'll have the efficacy and coverage. Unless you start adding CO2, this will be nearly as strong as you'd want. one other suggestion -- overshoot a bit on diodes per sq. foot. Allows you to offset slow dim over 50-60k hours of use and maintain same exact coverage and intensity as day 1.

Week9! She's really starting to stack up and put on the weight because of this I have preemptively tied some of the heavier branches that were sagging to the top off my tent and next grow I shall be investing in a net. In the past 24 hours some of the pistils have started to turn orange so the progress over the next week should be exciting! I haven't had any issues this week other than some burn in the leaf tips due to over feeding, so have pulled back on the nutes and will keep this way for the remainder of its life! She is too big to come out of the tent for pictures in natural light now so the pictures moving forward will be under purple or the flash of my camera. Happy growing homies!

Week 10! Still packing on the weight and some pistils still emerging from bud sites, really happy with the progress and extremely happy that I decided to top this plant. Still hoping for around 3oz dry once I'm done but we will see, buds aren't as far on this plant more of a taller bud structure. I'm guessing this is due to the majority of the genetics being sativa. Did a big defoliation this week to keep humidity down. As you can see in the pictures more branches have been tied up to support the weight. Pistils continue to turn orange each day and I am guessing this plant will get the chop around mid to end of week 13!

Coming to the end of week 11 and things are getting super frosty. Flowers still have a tall structure rather than fat but from what I've seen it's just genetics. Leaves are starting to yellow each day as it uses up the remainder of its energy and I have been taking these off the plant as they die off. Still watering every other day. Think I have roughly 10-14 days until it's gets chopped for drying. What do you guys think? Happy growing homies, catch you next week!

End of week 12 update 1 day early as I am busy tomorrow. She's is pretty much done now and will be getting chopped in 3 days with the last watering was given last night! Starting to show fall colours as she comes to an end using up the remainder of her energy and she has all but stopped packing on the weight now. Most trichomes are cloudy with a few amber in a couple of places. Will update week 13 with the harvest and week 14 will show drying and trimming! Happy growing people!
