My second grow ever is off to a great start. The ladies seem to really enjoy sitting in the window. All the big buds took around four days to sprout. The White Widow was moving pretty slow until I put the heat pad under it, so it to about six days in total for her to sprout she seems to like a warmer temperature to sprout around 80°F. This grow seems easier with the knowledge I gained from my first grow. The kratky method is really great if you keep the EC and the PH in the proper ranges. I am going to try topping at least one of the plants this time.
Week two has gone pretty smoothly. The ladies grew more than I thought they would which is a pleasant surprise. I am looking forward to being able to transfer them to the main grow tank so we can really get this show on the road. They look like they will grow into strong beautiful women. My second grow feels much easier than my first grow because of everything that I have learned. I hope that I continue to improve with each grow.
I went out of town for a few days and I came back and these ladies have started to take off. Their roots we doing really well and they are drinking up their nutrient solution. I am probably going to be topping them this coming week, and I think it is almost time to transfer them to the main grow tank. This time I might use a 12 gallon tank instead of an 18 gallon tank so there will be more room in the tent for the ladies and myself.
This week I topped a couple of the ladies and I tried FIMing one was well. I didn't so anything to one of them to use was a control to see the difference in the yields. I also moved the ladies to the main grow tank, and their roots didn't disappoint when given more room to grow. I noticed what might be a calcium deficiency because I mixed the nutrients wrong and it caused a lockout. After remixing the nutrients and adding some CaliMAGic water the ladies seem to be doing really well. I am also surprised the growth I have seen after topping and FIMing, and I am looking forward to seeing what kind of yields I will get from these ladies.
I removed the damage leaves from the calcium deficiency after I changed the water, and the ladies have been responding really well to the correct nutrient solution. I added the net for ScrOG , and I am excited to see what kind of yields I get with combining training techniques. The ladies are doing really well and growing lots of healthy looking leaves.
This week has been a really good week for the ladies they all have been growing really well, their roots and leaves look amazing, and the EC and PH have been holding steady. I was able to do another topping of Diane, Cover, and Luna. Precious Feather Flower is the control so outside of clipping a few fan leaves and putting the nets in for ScrOG I have left her alone, and she is just taking off. I have been misting the ladies every three days with quarter strength nutrient solution and they seem to love it. I am really looking forward to seeing all these ladies grow because it is always exciting and watching them go from seed to weed.
It has been a really good week for the ladies. They have been growing really well, and they have been gulping up that nutrient water.
I did some lollipoping this week for the first time, so we will see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. Precious Feather Flower who is my control has been growing quickly, and she is towering above all of her sisters. I am really looking forward to these ladies maturing because they all seem to be decent producers.
The ladies are looking great and doing great. I noticed trichomes have started to appear. I changed the nutrient solution to a more bloom oriented one, and the ladies have been drinking up the nutrients quickly. I filled the tank on Monday or Tuesday, and the ladies have gone through about a quarter of the new solution already. These ladies are growing well and are plenty hungry. I am excited to see the buds they end up producing. Topping and lollipoping have been an interesting experience for me, and I think I will continue the practice with future grows.
It has been a really good week for the ladies the PH and EC have been holding steady in the desired range. The ladies have been gulping down the nutrient solution, and lots of trichomes have been coming in. It looks like these ladies are going to have some nice buds on them once they are ready for harvest. I can't wait to harvest these ladies and enjoy their bounty.
The ladies seem to be doing great. Their buds are denser than I was expecting. There are a lot more trichomes this week. The smell they are putting off is a lot stronger than I was expiring as well.
These girls are also drinking down the nutrients. Topping the plants has kept them short, and the branches have grown out horizontally very well. I hope that these ladies will be ready to harvest in the next three to four weeks because they smell like they will be wonderful.
The ladies are doing great. I added some hydroguard to help keep the roots looking good. The ladies seem to be enjoying the hydroguard because a couple days after adding it the ladies gulped down a lot of the water left in the tank. The buds are looking really good, and they are nice and dense. There is a wonderfully strong pine citrus smell coming from these ladies, and every time I get a whiff it makes my eyes big and I can't wait to taste them.
I have noticed some of the trichomes have started to turn amber, so I think I will be harvesting in the next week or two.
I am very pleased with how this grow has gone, and am very excited to enjoy the harvest from this grow.
The Big Bud was great for a beginner for like me. It did really well throughout the grow, and bounced back really quickly from an early calcium deficiency. Its bugs were beautiful too.
This strain is pretty easy too grow. It lets you know quickly it there is a problem, and bounces back just was fast when you correct the issue. I well be growing this again for sure.
