Starting this plant indoors until she is strong enough to go outside for a summer grow. Used the paper towel methid to start the seed and used a rockwool grow cube to start the plant. I plan on growing this in a planter with soil when she is big and strong enough.

With the roots starting to show through the grow cube I have transplanted the seedling to a small pot with cocos until she is ready to go outside.

Slow growing, this week I have begun feeding her nutrients but at a very low dose. Hoping for some good growth in the next couple of weeks so we can get her outside.

I flipped my growtent this week to flower so out she comes to sit inside on my kitchen window sill until she is big enough to handle outside.

With the plant being big enough to handle the conditions I have decided to put her outside. This grow will be my first in soil and I will be trying a few new techniques. I used a bag of the best potting mix available from my garden centre and mixed it with some of my garden compost to make a soil mix. This should be packed full of nutrients so I will not feed her unless she shows any signs of any deficiencies.

We had some great weather this week and the girl grew very nicely. Since the soil mixture includes compost from my kitchen scraps there are a few seedlings of chilli, tomato and cucumber popping through. I have removed the cucumber and tomatos but left the chillis to grow next to the dope.

I love this time of year, plenty of sun and not much wind. Girl is coming along nicely with no signs of any nutrient deficiencies.

Great growing conditions means the girl is growing very nicely. Still no signs of any deficiencies so no nutes yet.

Even though the conditions for growing were great for most of the week something strange has happened. It seems to me as if the girl has started to flower. I'm not entirely sure but the nodes are no longer symmetrical and it looks like buds are forming. The reason why this is rare is because in 8 years of growing outside, plants usually flower around late Jan.

Is she in flower? All signs point to flower with preflowers clearly visible and what looks like to be bud formation and uneven spacing on the internodes. Plants shouldn't flower outdoors around here untiI late Jan early Feb so this seems rather strange as I ordered femenised seed

Hi Mate, yes is in preflowering. I've grew up same strain outdoors last year. Stay alert 'cause this plant will stretch a lot from now for 2/3 weeks. Check my outdoor SK diary. 👊

Hey mate. I feel like we are in a similar region. Ours are doing something similar, with preflower hairs increasing. I’m not convinced it’s flowering yet as our days are still getting longer at the moment. I feel as though there is still enough leaf growth to say maybe not yet, but to be safe I would refrain from topping for now and just keep an eye on them. My indicas are showing more than my sativa too, so that may be something to consider. Cheers

Yes she is in pre-flower, those white things are the pistils, indicators that the plant is starting to flower. Peace ✌️

She looks great but she is unfortunately flowering. Plants shouldn't flower here till late Jan early Feb so this is a mystery.

Plant is looking ok albeit a lot shorter than I would have liked. Showing no real signs of any nutrient deficiencies so no nutes yet, maybe some molasses next week.

She is looking great and while I would have preferred a bit more height, she is starting to fill out nicely. Gave her some molasses this week.

A great week for growing and the buds coming along real nice. Started taking some of the bigger fan leaves off to expose light to the lower buds.

She is looking great and fattening up nicely. Starring to smell a bit too and the leaves are showing a bit of that yellow tinge they get in later flower.

She is looking in great health and getting nice thick colas. I'm happy with my first soil grow and will grow in soil more often from now on.

Clones grew a bit funny with the plants going into flower about a month and a half early and them not vegging as their mother did. Because I had to harvest a couple of weeks later than I would have liked a few seeds developed, let's hope they are viable femenized seeds.
