Mason Mar-07.2018:
48h after being germinated from a wet paper towel. Transferred to a pot.
Medium: Clean soil, worm castings, coconut coir, Perlite (ratios of components to taste) watered before transferring the seeds in.
Light: 12/12, 1 50w LED light 25cm away from the seeds, 1 200w incandescent bulb 50cm away from the seeds.

24h after being transferred to the soil, this time the roots seem darker than the previous attempts with the Orange seeds. I had to lightly spray a layer of water on the surface because some soil pieces were dry. Adjusted the distance between the incandescent bulb and the pot to avoid heat issues.

The seedlings have emerged above the soil in the pot, looking darker than the Orange seeds sown in the same batch. Watered around the pot to maintain moisture after the first watering 3 days ago.
Mar 10, 2018.
This time the plant is 4 days old but still short, not as tall as the previous Orange seeds. Perhaps due to improved lighting conditions.

Started watering with a light solution dosage of 1-2ml/L. Even though I know specialized nutrients would be better, I want to try this cost-saving method and see how it goes.
@Mason, she's doing fine... you can add some more soil to fill that pot up and make for more rooting, it seems quite quick that she sprouted from the soil the next day you planted her, so it might be a bit shallow, but adding soil will make her more stable as well.
If you're using the 50W LED for veg, you can lower it way down, up tu some 10cm, and you'll be fine - you can measure the temp on the canopy when you lower the light, or just feel it with your hand, if it's warming up you can put the lights an inch or two higher.
@bobo420, I added a little bit soil to her today. Also changed the Incandescent light bulb 200w to 4 yellow CFLs 25w & 1 White CFLs 50w, because Incandescent light bulb created lots of heat in my box.
