First week of my first indoor grow. Those lights look amazing, like having a second sun.
Original plant was to have 3 sugar mama and 2 candy Kush. I put them in water on Sunday, moved to towel on Monday and into pots Thursday (Day 4). 1 of the sugar mama seeds didn't sprout and I accidentaly cut another in half while moving to pot. Damn, I've lost 2 plants so I need to add 2 seed, so on day 4 I put Bubble Kush and Fastberry in a glass of water for a few hours then put in soil about 1 cm down.
I've planted the sugar mama with broken root anyways (Sugar Mama #2), and surprisingly it did pop out of the soil, so now I have 6 plants.
Having tried germinating in a towel and in soil directly the winner is definitely just popping the seed in soil after leaving it in a glass of water until it sinks. The fastberry and bubble kush seedling came out quite quickly and with much less hassle than the ones I put in a towel.
A bit worried about the colour of the leaves, bright green in places but could be that the plant is getting used to the soil. Or too much watering, so I'm watering a bit less now just in case as I think I overwatered.
I've attached image from 7 days after defoliation and more LST and what she grew to today. Quite bushy, should I defoliate/tuck again so more light gets to lower branches? only do some more lst? more lst and defoliation? or leave her for now and let her grow? 35 days from seed
New leaves on the Candy Kush plant #1 are bright green/yellow. This seems to have started when increased biogrow from 2ml/l to 3ml/l. Iron, zinc or sulphur deficiency? Only give calmag on next feed? Might have measured pH before adding nutrients so Faber wrong pH?
i am not seeing anything wrong. what i am seeing is a plant ready to start forming bud. the lighter color comes on the new growth right before the flower sites start forming lottle buds, congrats cause after this week those buds will start form, she looks very happy and healthy so stop the stress. happy growing
@LockDownGrow, the deformity was on this grow :)
She is looking much better, the deformity is mostly gone, new growth looks mostly normal. The buds are coming out which is what is important :) Couple of people told me that I should replace her when they saw her when she was young, I knew she would pull through :)
Congratulations! Great result! I also never succeed having nice green colors throughout the whole grow. I'm starting to think that this is normal with autos; they seem to have the habit of eating their leaves during flower for the benefit of producing bigger blossoms.
They started flowering, I can see some pistils on the plants (except sugar mama). Day 30 for the Candy Kush and Day 26 for the Bubble Kush and Fastberry.
There were too many fan leaves shading lower branches. I've defoliated.
Hopefully I haven't over done it.
The sugar mama was admittedly early but there was so much new growth covered.
@Qlimax, thanks, yeah amazing what having decent lights can do. Managed to pull 490g from this single grow and I wasn't using the space fully. Amazing lights, almost 1g per watt
