First week of my first indoor grow. Those lights look amazing, like having a second sun. Original plant was to have 3 sugar mama and 2 candy Kush. I put them in water on Sunday, moved to towel on Monday and into pots Thursday (Day 4). 1 of the sugar mama seeds didn't sprout and I accidentaly cut another in half while moving to pot. Damn, I've lost 2 plants so I need to add 2 seed, so on day 4 I put Bubble Kush and Fastberry in a glass of water for a few hours then put in soil about 1 cm down. I've planted the sugar mama with broken root anyways (Sugar Mama #2), and surprisingly it did pop out of the soil, so now I have 6 plants. Having tried germinating in a towel and in soil directly the winner is definitely just popping the seed in soil after leaving it in a glass of water until it sinks. The fastberry and bubble kush seedling came out quite quickly and with much less hassle than the ones I put in a towel. A bit worried about the colour of the leaves, bright green in places but could be that the plant is getting used to the soil. Or too much watering, so I'm watering a bit less now just in case as I think I overwatered.

Alright, middle of week 2, the girls are doing really well, showing good growth, I am impressed by how quick they are growing (well except for the fastberry which managed to grow some defromed leaves, overwatering I think). I noticed that some of the leaves were wrinkly and thought it might be too much light so I moved the lights up as much as possible in my roof tent. To do that, I've moved the air filter out so it clears the smell while the air is pushed out instead of when it is pulled in inside the tent. The light now can go to max 120cms (giving it ~25 cms of air above), the suction is right above the light and there is a fan next to the light pushing the air downwards for warmth. Although it doesn't seem the problem was the lights but rather overwatering. Keeping the lights high up as they are too strong for these little ones The Bubble Kush Auto has really impressed me, it caught up with siblings that are 4 days older! I will definitely be growing some more RQS seeds, I was already decided on doing that because I always seem to end up on their blog posts when looking for stuff, but seeing how well this plant is doing so far made me want to try them more. I discovered biotabs and decided I am going to follow the biotabs 'just add water' method. Decided a bit late into the grow as I was supposed to add the mycotrex when potting but I ordered anyway and received today. I dug up the soil around the plants about 15cms deep and mixed 5 teaspoons of mycotrex per pot, trying to be careful not cut some roots or kill a plant again while messing about :) all went well, pictures takes on day 10 after the operation. Soil is still a bit wet, will soak with bactrex when it dries a little. --- End of week 2 update: most are 14 days from seed today. I added bactrex on day 11, the day after adding the mycotrex. On day 12 I noticed the sugar mama isn't growing at all, using up space and my preferred pot so I decided to put her out of her misery and transplant the fastberry to that pot. And then there were 5. Day 13 noticed that the soil takes really long to dry which is when I realised I have been ignoring the saucers. They were full of water as I'm used to outdoor without gardening. Luckily noticed before it was too late.

End of week 3, the girls have recovered from all the overwatering and bad start to their life. The Kush's took it well, Sugar Mama still really suffering and the Fastberry is looking funny, not sure if that is because of my mess up or her genes. I decided I wanted to play with 1 of the plants early and since the Candy Kush #1 was a bit slower than her sister, I decided to tie her up a bit on day 18 and have her as my experimentation plant, just pegged down the top so that the bottom branches get more lights and grow more. Seems to be working. On day 20 I noticed that the leaves of the Bubble Kush and Candy Kush are really broad and covering the bottom branches, so I tucked them underneath to give more light to the branches. No nutrients, just water. It has been a cold week outside but the temperature in the tent has been good. There is some calmag deficiency on both Candy Kushs (strong LED :D ) so I have ordered some biobizz calmag to add. Did I mention how I impressed I am with the Bubble Kush? really nice strong plant. At this point I am not sure if the Sugar Mama is waste of space and if she should meet the same fate as her sister last week. Will wait more and see how she develops

Uploaded pics from yesterday (day 25/21 - week 4). Tent layout from top left: Sugar Mama Candy Kush #2 Bubble Kush Candy Kush #1 Fastberry All the girls showing good progress. The sugar mama has lots of catching up to, at least she is growing fine now. No idea about that fastberry and what it is doing. I've pegged the Candy Kush #1 down some more and removed the leaves that are covering new grow or touching soil. Lots of branches coming up, albeit slow :) Candy Kush #2 and the Bubble Kush are just a sight to behold, lots of branches and quite big for their age. The Bubble Kust is only 21 days from seed in that picture! Amazing! I've only been tucking the fan leaves to give more exposure to the new grow, seems to have been working well so far. I think I will need to train them this week, just a little LST bending the top cola down. All 3 Kush's are big enough now to handle some nutrients so I've them for the first time today. The little ones will need to wait. I've found some White Powder Mildew on my outdoor plants, so just in case I've sprayed these girls with Neem Oil, never liked the smell of it :( but I am going to be using it every week or so as a preventative measure. I'll update again in a couple of days for the end of week 4 (this is mid week update, kind of) ------------- End of week 4 update. Candy Kushs and Sugar Mama at day 28, Bubble Kush and Fastberry are 24 days. All the girls are looks really well, showing slight signs of magnesium deficiency, I'll be giving them biobizz calmag with next watering. The fastberry is finally starting to look like a normal plant. Still perplexed by the top bud growing sideways/downward.

Mid week 5 update Really good start to week 5, they took well to the defoliation on the last day of week4. The girls are all showing pestels (yes, excepect the sugar mama) and going into flowering. Noticed slight mag issue on a few of the plants and nitrogen issue on the candy kush. So giving them calmag and more biogrow currently at 2ml/L increasing to 3ml/L with next watering. Some more defoliation here and there as I see big leaves shading lower buds. I am turning the pots 90degrees everyday and moving them around the tent every week. Water EC is .56 before adding nutrients and ph is 7.8. I added the nutrients + phdown which brough EC to 1.3 and ph to 6.1 ------ End of week update: All the girls are doing really well, lots of buds sites around. I decided to defoliate the Sugar Mama a little and believe I've found the reason for the slowness, the roots seem to have come out in a funny way and the stem came out kind of at an angle, this must have happened when I was messing with the soil to add mycorrhizae. Couple of big gan leaves were covering everything underneath, so I've removed them and tucked some others down. Candy Kush #1 is getting really bushy and needs some more LST/defoliation I think maybe tomorrow. Increased biogrow to 3ml and removed the yellow leaves from the plants. Sprayed with neem oil, put it in as 0 so it doesn't mess with nutrient levels, I just sprayed the plants top and bottom, they ended up dripping wet but kind of impossible to spray top and bottom without dripping.

I've attached image from 7 days after defoliation and more LST and what she grew to today. Quite bushy, should I defoliate/tuck again so more light gets to lower branches? only do some more lst? more lst and defoliation? or leave her for now and let her grow? 35 days from seed

First day of week 6, I will be adding content as the week progresses, have a look at week 5 as that is now complete. Status: Candy Kush #1 d36 - Looking awesome, some pistils showing. Was too bushy so did some LST and slight defoliation today with supercrop on 1 branch. Candy Kush #2 d36 - Looks like nitrogen deficiency is sorted, now I have excess? :D see the clawing tips? Gonna stick with the current feed, hopefully she'll overcome otherwise I'll flush her once if things get worse. Bubble Kush d32 - Amazing, nothing to report, some tucking done Fastberry d32 - Looking as weird as ever, some tucking done Sugar Mama d36 - growing and getting really bushy, shame about the mess I did with the roots/stem but she is doing ok now. ---- Fed 2nd day of weeks 6 (day 37), 3ml biogrow 2ml calmag. pH was at 6.5 Ec was at 1.5. New leaves are really yellow in candy Kush 2, iron deficiency? Not sure what is happening, will be monitoring. ---- Day 38, Removed the yellow leaves and a little defoliation on all the plants ---- Day 39, Raised the shorter plants so they get some more lights. All of them have finished 35 days (5 weeks from seedling today) and are looking great. Feed the same, although they still look very bright, brighter than I am used to. ---- Day 41, Feeding time, started giving them bloom at 5ml/l and the other normal dosages as in diary. ---- Day 42, End of week 6 The girls are all looking great, there is is so much hair on the buds, haven't seen so much with outdoor grows. Exciting :D Sugar mama is way too bushy and not getting taller. The new blades are too thin, maybe I'm overfeeding her (only biogrow+calmag)? defoliated her, lots of fan leaves removes, she is asking for some training, I've ordered plant tie and will do some LST when delivered. Fastberry also had a couple of leaves removed All kushs doing great Thanks for reading and happy growing!

New leaves on the Candy Kush plant #1 are bright green/yellow. This seems to have started when increased biogrow from 2ml/l to 3ml/l. Iron, zinc or sulphur deficiency? Only give calmag on next feed? Might have measured pH before adding nutrients so Faber wrong pH?

Good week overall, started with a defoliation and lst for Sugar Mama, she was too unruly and here we are by the end of the week she is full of leaves again. I am going to let her grow as is and save her from more defolation she is not getting taller, yet. All the other girls are doing well, nothing much to report apart from that I found out what is going on with those nutrients and the general unhealth of plants (spots on some, really bright on others, clawed tip, ...) but none seemed too serious. I discovered that because I am towards the end of my nutrients that they were too think and were not actually mixing well into the water explaining why the EC wasn't getting as high as I expected when adding biogrow. Made sure the nutrients are properly mixed (put them in then blast with water to mix well) and water them today with a good mixed meal, expecting them to have better colours soon. The fastberry is looking prettier every day, the deformity that was at the beginning is barely visible now. Good week overall, although I've been focusing on my outdoor plants (one harvested another moved indoor permanently). Started on day 43 with a defoliation and lst for Sugar Mama, she was too unruly and here we are by the end of the week she is full of leaves again. I am going to let her grow as is and save her from more defolation she is not getting taller, yet. Good week, buds are swelling up and girls getting taller. Fastberry day 52: still getting talled standing at 71 cms (grew by 5cms since last week), sowing some signs of over feeding so today I gave her a weeker feed with 2ml/l of biogrow and 1ml/l calmag only. She is growing to become a very beautiful girl. Sugar Mama day 56: I was started to worry that this girl is a photoperiod and making plans for her and cloning. This week standing at 22cms she is finally starting to flower. She had a bad childhood resulting in slow development hopefully it doesn't come with small buds and just delayed the process. I defoliated her again the beginning of the week (I lost count at this point, I think this was the 3rd defoliation in 3 weeks) Candy Kush #1 day 56: Buds are swelling up, grew to 29cms from 24cms last week, she also showed signs of overfeeding so got same weeker feed as the fastberry. Candy Kush #2 day 56: Standing at 66cms, didn't get any taller by buds are swelling up nicely trichomes are mostly smokey white but I'll leave these girls longer to swell them up more and have some more stoney effect plants. Won't be long now, maybe 3 weeks. There is some sort of feeding issue with this plant, she never looked 100% healthy to me. Bubble Kush day 52: standing at 82cms, hasn't gotten taller but the buds are getting fatter and she looks amazing. Taking all the nutrients well and looking really nice. Did I mention she is my favorite of the lot? I've already bought me some RQS Huckleberry auto and RQS Northern Lights auto. They will go into my next grow :D I've been defoliating here and there as I go along and watering by top watering a little and then mostly bottom feeding by watering the saucers and making sure all of it is sucked up and pot isn't sitting in water. Thanks for reading and happy growing

Alright, another week. Ladies looking well. Defoliated the Sugar Mama and Fastberry mid-week they took it well. Ran out of Neem Oil last week and noticed a couple of small bugs flying around, no idea what they are so ordered some more neem oil and some stickies. The other girls are all doing well, they are drinking much less than usual, I had a bunch of alfalfa seeds lying around so sprinkled them around some of the plants. Upped the feed as they seemed to need it. EC is now going from a base of .6 to 2.4

Decided to give them a break from nutrients this week and gave them a good watering without any nutrients to clear out the soil, will start feeding again with next feed. The girls are growing well. I keep thinking the Candy Kush plant 2 is going to be ready in a week then deciding to leave her for another couple of weeks. I'm hoping she'll be ready this coming Monday, she'll be 78 days and I'm running out. The other girls look like then need another 3 weeks at least. The buds are getting fatter every day :D These last few weeks test my patience so much.

Been a good week, buds are ripening well. i have actually harvested the Candy Kush 2 this morning, will add another week for tha that harvest in a bit. Candy Kush 1 looks like she is ready, I think I will harvest her this tomorrow. Forgot to take a picture of the bubble kush, just the trichomes :) I think it needs another couple weeks, so does the fastberry. I am going to stop feeding this week and just water them. Sugar Mama will still get the regular feed.

Really impressed by this cultivar, germinated quickly, grew fast and produced nice buds. She seemed to be sensitive to nutrients, I never managed to get her to have nice green leaves all over. I trained one of the plants and she took really well to the training. Will report once smoke once cured. The buds are smelling lovely, sweet creamy/vanilla flavour.

This plant that I harvested today I've only defoliated and she took well to that. I LST and defoliated the other plant and she is still ripening will harvest her soon. 285gramms of wet bud is quite good for first grow, so i should get about 60g dry, I'll update actual value when dry. She was in the tent with 4 other plants under the Skyline 1000 lights which pull 500w from mains. She filled the room with some sort of orange/lemon candy smell. Smells really nice. I'll update when I harvest the other Candy Kush and report on taste/effect once dried. ------- Day 79 I harvested the other Candy Kush, gave 280g wet, not much of a difference between the trained and untrained plants, although I think she could have gotten fatter had I left her longer. Looking at the buds now that they dried up they got much smaller :D Really loving the smell, can't wait for them to cure.

Great week, harvested the Candy Kushs and the remaining girls are doing really well. I've stopped feeding them and just giving water now as I am away for a few weeks and wanted to keep it simple for my partner who is looking after them while I am away. The fastberry can probably be harvested already but decided to leave her longer and hopefully give buds more time to fatten up. The Bubble Kush is looking amazing and the buds are growing and gaps between buds getting smaller, she looks like she can do with a few more weeks, so she'll be perfect when I am back hopefully. This will be my last update until then probably.

To think people were telling me to chop her off because she looked deformed when she was young! glad I didn't listen to them as she turned out a beautiful plant! 100g of really nice dark purple bud. Really great strain, grew well without much care and produced really intresting looking buds.

She had a tough life, I messed up her roots at the beginning and then overwatered, was really stunted and not growing for a while. Finally started growing normally, a bit late but looked fine. I had to hand her over to a friend for the last 4 weeks and she looked strange and buds were quite solid hard and dry.

@LockDownGrow, the deformity was on this grow :) She is looking much better, the deformity is mostly gone, new growth looks mostly normal. The buds are coming out which is what is important :) Couple of people told me that I should replace her when they saw her when she was young, I knew she would pull through :)

Congratulations! Great result! I also never succeed having nice green colors throughout the whole grow. I'm starting to think that this is normal with autos; they seem to have the habit of eating their leaves during flower for the benefit of producing bigger blossoms.

Hello, what soil/medium do you use and what size pots? Also how many tabs per pot and do you add any more perhaps at week 6 or 7? Thanks!
