Welcome to the autumnal automatic grow featuring seeds from Royal Queen Seeds.
RQS kindly provided me with Royal Gorilla Auto and Fat Banana automatic. I thought they'd be the perfect two to go side by side one another.
4 plants, 2 strains, 15L fabric pots in soil. Pretty cheap LED in a 0.8m2 tent, so not much space.
Pics were taken on about day 8 from sprouting from soil. Seeds spent 48hr prior soaking in water until they popped.
Biggest baby is 6cm, smallest is 4cm. Can't wait for the pre flower takeoff in a few weeks. Will be LST and maybe topped if needed.
It's been a very warm week, and I've more or less just let them get on with it. A bit of water most days because of how quickly the soil is drying out in the heat.
Will give them their first go of nutrients after this diary upload, going into the third week.
Little bit of LST for the Gorilla girls that are moving at a quicker pace than the banana currently.
Couple pictures of chillis from the greenhouse for your viewing pleasure.
Easy week, looking forward to the rocket shoot up time soon.
Okay they are really starting to take off this week! Trying to control the height with some heavy LST on the main stems of all four plants.
Gorilla girls (x2 left) are the quickest biggest so far, but the fat bananas (x2 right) are catching up.
Keeping nutrients low, after a little burn week or two ago. Probably gave them some base nutrients too soon due to the large size of pots.
Preflower bits have shown, am treating this as last week of veg due to just how much veg growth there's been since previous diary upload. Makes sense that next week would be first week of flower 😁👍🏻
Upped nutrients from last week as the gorilla had yellowing leaves. Excited to see how the banana turns out because it had a little more veg time compared to the gorilla.
Slightly disappointed with the fast flowering time of the gorilla, another week of veg would have been great. Oh well its an auto 👍🏻
Getting really smelly this week. Gorilla still getting yellow leaves, upper nutrients slightly but not much I can do about it now.
Outside temps way down which is great for the tent. Going to try to be patient for this grow 👌
Okay I think these are finishing up 😂 small buds but the leaves are finishing up, very frosty and smelly. Just small. Oh well, these autos didn't have much time to veg which was a shame.
Exciting colour fades nonetheless. Just water from here on out.
