Hi and welcome! Lets see what we can get out of these ladies under the Mars SP250. They are growing under a 26w secret jardin TLED (Grow 6500K). Sprouted them on august 31st. 1 didnt came through and had problems sprouting. Got rid of her. The Green Gelatos are in the lead and are already nice and big, some are having some issues. I will see who will survive after repotting to 11L airpots soon. Not sure when I will be changing the TLED for the SP250, but it will not be too long. Will set her at half power for grow, should be good.

Week 2 is going along fine. Some are smaller than others, might be and under-watering issue, always afraid of giving too much water. One Green gelato showed some signs of under-watering at the end of week 2 so I gave her some extra water.

Week 3 has just started. Moved them to the large grow tent. Had been growing them in a 40x40x80 tent. Ladies are coming along nicely, some are a little behind the other, but still looking ok. One NY Diesel seems to had some issues, leaves a bit reformed but the next node is looking ok. Think the light might have been too close for her. Will see how she progresses (on the left) and will also follow the chemdawg closely on the right! They have been getting 50ml of water every day, except for the smallest ones. Will repot them to their final containers soon! Still not sure if I should put the SP250 or keep this TLED. Not too much difference in first growth it seems, but massive difference in Watts (26w vs 245w) so I will keep it like this for a few more days and decide later. ----------------------------- Update: After repotting last weekend, I only gave a few drops of water each the last days. Plants are looking a bit yellow down below, so I will be watering a little more frequently. Also the SP250 is up and running dimmed at 128watts.

Not much to report, ladies are looking ok. Still a bit yellow, could also be due the dimmed light! Fimmed the ladies last night, well see how they recover. Will put the net after they have recovered and will probably fim another time before switching to 12/12. No nutrients, only water.

Starting Week 5 today. The ladies are looking good and healthy. Only the NY Diesel 3 seems to be overwatered and slightly droopy. I have not given her anything the past days, I think too much stress from fimming in combination with the soil being too wet. Nothing to be too worried about at this stage, she will recover. It looks to me like 5/7 ladies have been fimmed and the two diesels have been topped. In doubt if I am going for another topping/fimming round at the end of the week before I put the net and swithc to 12/12, or just switch and put the net and let them fill the net. Well see how it goes this week before we take any haste decisions. BAC nutrients have arrived this week as well. I will start in a week or so, following the ladies closely. Thanks for reading!

Day 36 Ladies are close to almost filling half the net, in a few days I will defoliate everything below the net and switch to 12/12. Looking green and healthy, still not sure about enough water or not. I checked with a wooden stick in the soil and it is still looking a bit moist after 15min, gave a little each and tomorrow we will re-evaluate if they get some more! Gave a little extra root stim and grow form BAC a few days ago, but the small burned tips are looking like it is a bit too early so only water (changing tap with adjusted PH and rain regularly) until we switch to 12/12.

Hi there Day 42 They have been growing longer compared to what I wanted, but still not feeling completely satisfied with the ladies filling the net to start heavy defoliation and to switch to 12/12. It looks like I have been under-watering them as they did not look that good earlier this week, and now after some serious watering and a little nutrients some have recovered, but not all in full. WIll see it through a few more days and will be watering them daily. The auto pots seem to need more water. I also see some burned tips so I will be giving very little amounts of nutrients extra. The Chemdawg is showing what looks like a Boron deficiency, so I gave her a little extra water with nutrients. Mostly looking green and OK, so hopefully soon we can switch to 12/12 ------------------------------ Day 45 - Everything back on track, ladies looking good! Chemdawg seems to recover fine from her deficiency. Still some burned tips here and there on the other ladies. Will see that they do no get worse, but looking green and healthy imo. Switched to flowering 2 days ago, lets grow some big colas! I appreciate any comments or tips/tricks. Thanks for reading!

Day 50 5 days since switching to 12/12 Did the second round of defoliation today. Ladies are looking healthy, although the bottom left is still looking droopy. I gave her less water, did not do any good. I gave her a little more water now and she seems to be recovering, but still a bit droopy. Might be the genetics, this is a homebrand of NY Diesel. We will see. Starting to see the the first signs of female flowering on all plants. The yellow tips are not going to leave anymore and I see some brow spots here and there on the tips, so less nutrients = more healthy plant! -------------------------------- Day 51 Thanks for the replies on my question. I will not be doing the chiropracting technique because of the missed window pointed out in my question. Will leave them as the are and defolitate a last time next week! Cal/mag might be a good idea, I need to get me some first. Treated the ladies with neem oil (with hot water and soap mix) as well because I spotted some thrips. Hopefully this will exterminate them. ------------------------------- Day 55 - 12 days of flowering Did some small prunings of the bottom tops and leaves and removed some leaves blocking sunlight above the net. Not too much. Will do another round on Friday, maybe the last time or maybe we will do it in a week again... Seeing white hairs on all plants, looking good 😎. Maybe a small Cal/mag issue when watering without nutrients. The ladies have been drinking 0.5L each day, with some water floating on to the tray. Starting to get the hang of watering these airpots, very very slowly! Thanks for reading

Hi Is it harmfull to the plants to do some Kyle Kushmans Chiropracting when I have already switched to 12/12? I might want to do it in a few days when they have recovered fully from the defoliation. Thank you

you can still do most things except topping in flower. supercropping is ok to do in flower if you need to bend them ect. any work now just needs to be done slower and more gentle. I often bend 90° if I need to lower a main. the light will reach all the bud still and encourages the lower portion to swell too. The only real stress they cannot handle is light leaks.on the spots appearing , do you use calmag.?. led and coco both leech magnesium from the plants by their nature so we often compensate for their theft with additional calmag. the "rust spots" appearing is usually a good sign that they need more mg.

Starting to see what looks like a deficiency of Cal/Mag. I'm trying completely biological and I can see the Cal/Mag under the mineral nutrients tab from B.A.C. Is there a biological alternative?

Like the others have said. Adding eggshells and epsom salts to your soil prior to planting is a great way to introduce calcium and magnesium into your soil. Biobizz indeed do an organic calmag, I have a bottle of this to hand for when needed. Organic Black molasses also contains lots of micro nutes that are very beneficial for soil growers and also tap water sources can contain calcium and magnesium. I noticed since using rain water to feed my plants, I am having to supplement call mag mid flower from the bottle even though I condition my soil with Epson salts and egg shells. Happy gardening 🌱👍

Day 57 - 13 days of flowering Thanks for answering all my questions. Really helpful! I'm going to stick with the normal and not do the Kyle kushman technique anymore. Will order the biobizz cal/mag in the near future, for now the tap water will hopefully suffice. Ladies looking good! Last defoliation today. I still want the canopy to be filled with leaves and not having too much light going through. The roots are all going through the little bit of new soil I added last week and roots growing on top of the foil everywhere! Good signs, yes? The NY Diesels have stretched the most and I hope the rest will soon follow a bit more, although it looks like everything is starting to settle. Started with the flowering nutrients today. Gave the two NY Diesels in the back middle a good watering and the rest a little. Those two are a little ahead of the rest in the flowering stage and are already showing early buds. ---------------------------- Day 62 - 18 days of flowering All diesels have shown their real flowers, the gelato not completely. Tomorrow last round of defoliation as I am still feeling like there are too many leaves blocking bud sites. Thanks for reading!

Day 67 - 22 days of flowering Flowering has really started. I can see the NY Diesels already producing lots of trichomes and nice buds. Since they are a little bigger than the others, I am giving them a separate diet with more water and nutrients. They look a bit yellow to me, so I'm hoping that adjustment will do them good. Still havent received my bio Ph-, so I am not adjusting the Ph of the water currently. When growing biological, it is said that you normally do not need to adjust too much and the medium and plant will take care of the rest. Nutrient intake is also slower than with mineral nutrients, so it always takes a few days to start noticing some differences. Let's wait and see. -------------------------- Day 27 of flowering Not much to report. Ladies looking good, maybe here and there a little yellow. I am still giving about half the dose of nutrients the schedule is stating, plus a little preventive cal/mag. Adjusting the Ph to 6.2. Thanks for reading!

Day 75 - Day 30 Flower I'm liking what I'm seeing a lot. I can still see some plants a little yellow, but its looking like they are recovering. Not too sure what was up, I'm thinking wrong PH or a little nutrient deficiency, but wnothing to worry too much. The ladies are progressing nicely. Plants are filling the empty spaces on the stems with buds, continue please! ---------------------------------- Day 79 - Day 35 Flower Ladies keep filling up with buds! Still seeing a little yellow leaves on most plants, will flush them to get to a good PH level as I think some ladies are not taking all nutrients well. Other than that I'm happy with how things are going! Thanks for reading!

Day 80 - Day 36 of flowering Flushing the ladies to see if it improves on the plants healths. Might have been off with the PH. Looking good though, lots of trichomes! I like the Diesels a lot! ----------------------------------- Day 84 - Day 40 of flowering After flushing and letting them use up most of water and nutrients, some plants were starting to get more yellow, so I am giving the lowest amounts of the feeding schedule again. Definitely not a nutrient deficiency. Also, the purple accents are showing on mainly the Chemdawg and Red Diesel, but I tend to see those accents everywhere. Lovely! The smell is also starting to kick in real good. Thank you for reading!

Day 85 - Day 41 of flower The purple turns out to be a phosphor deficit. Upped up the nutrients, hoping it won't get too worse. Happy with how they are looking and the way things are going. The smell is starting to get real heavy! ------------------------------- Day 87 - Day 43 of flower Did a small defoliation today, freed some buds for more light, should not have that much impact. Last defoliation will be done just before flushing. Starting to see some stabilizing in getting more yellow, but also some more burnt tips. I should give each plant an individual amount of nutrients but I'm too lazy for that. We'll see how things evolve in the next weeks. I noticed the pungent smell the diesels have when defoliating all over my hands, heavenly. Then Green Gelato smells a lot like the diesel too imo, but my smell could have been saturated by the leaves and small buds I removed from other, but I cannot wait to smell them when ready! Day 92 - Day 48 of Flowering The ladies continue to get more yellow, so we will lower the nutrient dose a little next time around and give less water. They might have been getting a little too much after the flush too. Overall looking quite nice and not much to report, the smell is amazing and the buds keep getting bigger. Getting colder outside so also colder in the tent, wintertime is not the best for growing but we are managing nicely. Might move the driver of the light back in the tent for a few more degrees during lights on, but don't want to get a large difference in day a night temps. Food for thought. -------------------------------- Day 95 - Day 51 of Flowering The ladies keep swelling nicely! Thanks for reading!

Day 98 - Day 54 Flower Budpoooooorn! These ladies are amazing! Getting closer near the end. My best guess would be two more weeks of nutrients and then 7-10 days flushing. We started counting from the day of the switch and I think they can fatten up a bit more and get more milky and amber. First ambers have been spotted. Buds are getting bigger and bigger! So much trichomes all over the place, just wow. On the down side, spotted fungus gnats in my soil yesterday during watering. It appears I have been overwatering some plants and it shows on some as well as some bugs in the roots. Hoping it won't get too worse, letting the wet girls dry out for now and hope for the best. Maybe add a layer of dry soil, because I can see some green moss like thing coming on the soil. Will hang some bug catchers this weekend just in case others appear. Thanks for reading!

Day 104 - Day 60 Flower These ladies are finishing up nicely. Starting to see amber trichomes in most of the buds, it seems the Chemdawg is the only one a little behind. Will give the last feeding this week and start flushing the ladies. Looks like its going to be a white and purple Christmas, trichomes everywhere. We are almost there! I sprayed some neem oil on the soil last week to get rid of the fungus gnats. Seems like it did the trick perfectly. Less frequent watering and we drying these ladies out a little more than usual. Was thinking of defoliating a bit more but don't want to bring rot or anything in the tent.

Day 108- Day 64 of flowering I am playing the waiting game with the ladies. They all look absolutely amazing 😁. I think they are all almost ready, can't see much clear trichomes and ambers starting to show more and more. They can enjoy the next days of rain water. Seeing how they are becoming more and more yellow, not much nutrients are left and we are flushing nicely. Gonna dry them out a little more before watering the next time, because I saw some fungus gnats in the soil again. I will leave it for what it is and not give another round of neem oil. These last week will hopefully not do too much harm and we are drying them out so lets hope it stays contained! Looks like it is going to be a Christmas cutting during lockdown and hopefully start the new year with a bang! ---------------------------- Day 112 - Day 68 Flower Damn these ladies are finishing up nicely! Although a lot of yellow, it lets me know not much nutrients are left and sucked out from the soil and leaves. Tomorrow we will switch off the lights and leave them dark for 24 hours. Then its time to harvest! Super excited for the result, but I like how these ladies have turned out. Compact, nice buds everywhere. The smell is unreal! Almost done and read for a new round! ----------------------- Day 70 - Harvest!! Decided to update this one last time, will re-use some photos for the harvest section, but that's for in about a week. First thoughts seem like it is a little less compared to previous grow, but the quality of the bud looks a lot better. Full dense and compact buds on all plants. Absolutely lovely smell, the diesel is very present! Can't wait to test the results, but we need to be patient and cure them too! Thanks for reading!
