Hey now, So I am a huge Sativa fan, so I decided to try out some Jack 47's by Sweet Seeds for my Second Ever Cannabis grow. I rearranged my set up inside my tent a little bit, by removing two of the self draining saucers, so I can maximize my space better this grow and focus more on quality than quantity. I soaked the beans for 24 hours in PH 6.3 water, and then placed them in a wet paper towel for another 72 hours, until the tails were about a half inch or more. I then planted them in Solo Cups pre-filled with a mix of Coco Coir and Perlite. They all three broke through the Coco the following day. I am fertigating 3X per day with a Cal Mag and Maxi Gro powder mix that started with EC .4 and I have been raising by .025 each day. I am hoping they develop some strong roots, and I plan to top them and them transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots by week 3. Thanks for checking me out, and Blaze On!
Thanks for checking out my diary. this week went well,I am still running LED lights on a 19/5 cycle, with my daytime temps 76-78 and lights off 70-72. I am keeping the humidity set at 60% with the help of my AC Infinity Cloudline T8. On day 8 I started fertigating the Jack 47 seedlings 3 times per day, and they really responded well to that extra fertigation event. I am feeding Maxi Gro and Cal Mag and have gradually increased the EC until I am currently at .8 EC. I am also keeping my PH in a range of 5.9 to 6.5 I also topped all three plants earlier today, and I am going to see if and or how they respond, and then go from there. For the topping I waited until they had grown a 4th node each, and then topped them at the 3rd node while leaving both grow tips. I know some people say topping autos is not the best way to go, but on my first grow I got my largest yield on a sour diesel auto that I topped. I am not sure if I will top the Jack 47's again, or just utilize LST, it really just depends on how they respond to this first one. So far I am super excited with these Jack 47's by Sweet Seeds, and can't wait to see what they produce! Thank you for checking out my diary, be safe, and blaze on!
This week went well. I ended up transplanting from solo cups to 5 gallon fabric pots on day 19, and I probably could have done it a few days sooner looking at the roots. I also switched from the 100 Watt Spyder Farmer to the 240 Watt Mars Hydro on day 19 to get better coverage. I am still feeding cal mag and maxi grow only, and have raised the EC to 1.3 gradually over the past 10 days or so. They all responded well to the topping and to the raising of the nutrient levels. I am now feeding them 3 times per day, at lights on, and then again nine hours later, and again nine hours after that. I am , and I'm excited to see how they do the rest of the way. Thanks for checking me out. Be safe and blaze on!
Hey now, so this week went very well, I topped one of them for the last time on day 22,, and I wanted to top again but I started seeing some white pistils so I decided not to. I am now feeding 3 times per day with a total EC of 1.4 I am giving .4 to Cal Mag and 1.0 to Maxi Gro. I am also utilizing LST to try and keep an even canopy. I felt like my last grow produced far too many fluffy buds, so I am trying to focus on fewer bud sites, and denser colas. I am also testing the runoff and I am getting readings of 1.5 to 1.6 so I am good with that. Thanks for checking out my diary, be safe and blaze on!
Hey now, so this week went very well! The genetics from Sweet Seeds have been very strong...some of the biggest and greenest leaves I have ever seen, and they seem extremely resistant to everything! I am still feeding twice per day, with CalMag, and Maxigro, with an EC of 1.4 total. I am still using the Mars Hydro SP250 which has been amazing. I did raise the light on day 33 as I am trying to keep the light approximately 18-24 inches from the canopy. I must say these genetics from sweet seeds have been amazing! These ladies have been extremely happy, healthy, and green, no matter what conditions I have put them through! I am still feeding Veg Nutrients by GH, but I will be switching to Bloom Nutrients and adding a Bloom Blooster either this weekend or early next week. I will be starting out bloom nutrients at about 1.2 EC., and then gradually raising until I hit 1.8 Thanks for checking me out, and Blaze On!!!
Week 6 went well, I switched to flowering nutrients along with cal mag at an EC of 1.4, and I am slowly raising until I hit an EC of 1.6 within a few days. I did defoliate twice this week, just to improve airflow, and also because the lower fan leaves I removed were not receiving significant light. The runoff of the fertigate is not exceeding 1.5 EC so I am happy with that. I am hoping to keep a minimal amount of colas, and hopefully pull some denser buds than I got my first run. So far I am very pleased with my Mars Hydro Sp250, and especially these genetics from Sweet Seeds. Thanks for checking me out, and blaze on!
This week went well, I did some defoliation, as I am trying to keep the bud sites down on this grow, to hopefully get some tighter and denser buds. I did start adding Liquid Kool Bloom which is a P/K booster. I am now feeding at 1.65 EC. They are still stretching a little bit, but really seem to be focusing on flower growth more than anything at this point. Some very nice smells starting to come from the box. Thanks for checking out my diary and blaze on.
This week went very well, I am feeding twice per day at 1.75 ec, comprised of calmag, bloom, and bloom booster. I was out of town checking out some elk this week, i will have a better update when I get home. Be safe and stay lit.
This week went pretty well, I was out of town, but I was able to monitor these ladies by WYZE Cam, and I set up the feedings on a timer, but I only fed them twice per day while I was gone. They are still getting Cal-Mag, maxibloom, and PK booster. Still running on 19/5 light cycle, and I also did some defoliation when I got back in town just to improve some air flow. Overall I am very happy with these genetics from Sweet Seeds, and I believe I am only a couple weeks from harvest, but I will continue to monitor the trichomes with my optics. Thanks for checking me out and Blaze On!
Strain grew very easy, I mixed nutrients and dumped em in the hopper every few days and they did the rest. Very encouraging to be able to pull some very sticky and much thicker flowers than my first try. Very nice job Sweet Seeds with the Jack 47 Autos. The quality and smell is amazing, I am going to continue to cure, but after 8 days of drying and 9 days of curing I am very impressed.
