I just adjusted the lights. I had two additional lights, one 45w and one 300w led. I turned those off to relieve some of the heat, and that allowed me to turn my air circulation down so that the humidity will rise. It's a balancing act. I just opened it up, so I have mature plants of all ages in there with this newborn. All on 12/12.
Is it possible to obtain maximum yield from my plants without adding an air conditioning source to my tent? Also, I made tincture with plant parts and bud, and I tried to make it into GMO oil and it just basically evaporated. So, that would mean I had no real THC in my tincture?
You can not use fresh plant material or flower for tincture or anything really... Fresh Flowers and plant parts need to be dried before extraction.. And not too dry otherwise it mucks up the whole process and you get a lot more plant matter then thc. You don't need A/c in the tent.. And you don't need this or that... Green Zone growing helps because it eliminates other factors.. Ie lower temps are better for the plant and mean less chance of bacteria and even pests. But Plants acclimatize rather well and then can grow in a variety of condition under a number of factors. Plants under new growers care tend to grow despite what growers are doing and not because of what they are doing....
I will start water only this week. I also switched to 20/4 light cycle to finish this one for the last two weeks. I am switching to autos only for my next grow, and just put some babies in there with this one.
I am happy with my yield wet. I will post the dry weight when that part is complete. I like the LED's however, I'm thinking the HPS and MH would give me larger yields.
I saw the diary: don't expect too much from the autos! I'm also surprised by how small the yield is even if I got a lot of light in there!
Is just the ruderalis side which keeps the auto small and low yield, try a photoperiodic one, it whill change your point of view ;)
