She’s really drinking a lot now. Every other day the container is dry and light. Two liters every other day. Some of you may wonder why I’m not running a flush. I plan to harvest in stages to let the lower flowers mature to full term and I want them to continue getting the nutrients they need to do their job right. After a lot of research I find it’s heavily debated as to whether a flush for a soil grow with natural fertilizer is really necessary. If the plant was growing outdoors in a garden it wouldn’t really get a flush. The last nail in the coffin for the answer on this for me was this article from high times: https://hightimes.com/grow/new-research-shows-flushing-plants-before-harvest-may-be-unnecessary/
so I’ve decided not to this go round. At any rate here’s what’s happening.
11/6 watered 2 liters to runoff: input 5.5ph 665 tds. Output 6.8 ph 1330 tds.
Pistils over 80% orange but trichs aren’t quite there yet. Anticipate harvesting the oldest tops first, probably by the weekend.
11/8 The smell is fabulous and she really showed some beautiful fall colors last week. I did some more defoliation removing the spent fan leaves. Now it’s just the waiting.
Hey man yeah looking around week 6 to me. You can crop her but you will lose some goodness better let her go another week at least before you start the flush :) Great looking plant btw. 👊 The main colas will mature quicker than the other buds due to having more light keep in mind to check various areas of said plant before making any drastic decisions :) Peace out .👌
