This week will start the veg cycle, plants been transferred to larger pots, until they can be sexed. Will be starting them on a once a week organic tea, worm castings for the first week of veg.
Still waiting to sex, lots of different variations of plants some tall, some small, some fat leaves others not as fat. Notice one has leaflets in some intersecting nodes and 10 finger leaflets instead of 9. I topped the 2 larger ones, 4th node.
Was a little busy last week didn’t get time to update as much as I would have liked. Growth is still steady, although it had droopy leaves for a few days, sprayed with water and they haven’t dropped since. Nothing really exciting, minimal care until they are sexed! Doesn’t like temperature past 25c, seems to lower its leaves at that point or below 20c!
. 2 of the plants were males, isolated 1 for pollen collection. Others look like they are females, just need to confirm! Topped/FiMed this week! Time to prepare the bigger pots! It’s veg, so nothing really exciting happens :(
So the 2 females (A / B ), are now in a 2.5 gallon bucket, they been moved under a MH now! I tied down the main branch for both. B has a high tds runoff went from 1300us/cm to 1700us/cm to 2000us/cm, feeding her 700us/cm till it lowers! Growth recovering since transplant on both !
Been busy, sort of forgot about doing a diary. Nothing missed in the last 3 weeks, I took clones of each one, other then that the EC is at 1500us/cm @ 6.00 ph. Today they got flipped to 12-12.

Deal with droopy this week, doesn’t respond to water, doesn’t respond to temperatures, although it pops up a bit while in a warmer temperature, it does respond to getting misted with distilled water, my guess, it has a salt lockout, can’t uptake water from the roots, so it’s taking it in through the leaves! This weeks I’m reducing the EC down to 700us/cm and keeping it at 700us/cm !Plants sort of picky on temperature
Got really cold in the spare room, so I move the entire opt to the utility area, much more stable in temperature and humidity , and I have the room to veg outside of the tent, and keep the tent up for flowering, better overall space! Plants will be very happy!
Gonna increase the EC to 850, new growth a little yellow and growth is starting to accelerate, so a bit more food for them. A nice bloodmeal tea will be prepared tonight, keep it on air till Sunday. Sunday, will be organic tea day
Nights have been a little chilly in the room of late, about 20c. No signs of cold stress thought, being native to Afghanistan it should be cold hardy, perhaps prefer cold nights, I’ll keep the temperature at 22 for now, to avoid any pM. I’ll be reducing the on time down to 13hrs (30minutes every 3days), I usually do GRL, I’ll avoid any stress right now by making it 13/11.
Steady grow, looks like some are slightly different, as per the strain being a landrace. Likes a cool temperature of about 25/26 Celsius, that seems to be the happy point for them.
