Ready Get set Go. Kicking the start of an adventure. First timer. After reading quite a bunch of advises. I am soaking the Royal seed in water for 24h. I won't cover the glass. Thank you for reading Day 2: Time to move the seed to germinate slowly in a paper towel that is moist enough. After doing some research, I have decided to use distilled water to moist the paper towel. So i had to prepare homemade distilled water using a very simple technique. Open to share the technique if you need. For this step I took two identical plates that would make like a dome when tied together with an elastic. I used 4 paper towel sheet. Two in the bottom and two to cover the seeds. I put the first two on the first plate, pour some distilled water on it, removed excess, put the seed on it, covered with the two other paper towel then cover with the other plate. Tied everything together with two elastics. I think we will have to wait for day 6 to transplant, finger crossed. Day 3: Surprise Surprise, the baby seed is showing its roots quite fast, After only a day in the dome, i guess it is ready to go in its pot for it to continue its growth. I thinking i should not wait longer as the roots are 1cm overnight and i don't want it to get stacked in the paper towel. Time to prepare my soil mix. I have documented myself quite a lot, I am using organic soil, mixed with perlitte and only a little peat moss right in the middle where the seed will bed. Now that's ready, time to carefully transplant from paper towel to final pot. Pay Attention if the paper towel is too dry it may harm the root when you try to pick it off, you better pour some water on the paper towel before picking the germinated seed up. REMEMBER TO HELP THE SEED A LITTLE BY PUTTING THE ROOTS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION THAT IS ROOT IN BOTTOM AND SEED HEAD ON TOP. no need to be super precise as the seed and roots will find its way.

Blessings 1) Is it ok to water the plant with spring bottled water at 6.8 pH? Tap water is 5.5-6,2 pH where i am so i am not sure. Any natural or organic solution to raise pH of water at home? 2) See the protection dome i use, at what stage is it safe to stop using it

It's ok to water with that water but when it comes time to use nutes, when you add your nutes the ph will drop to unacceptable levels. Ph up or baking soda. But baking soda isn't stable. PH down you can use vinegar, but it also isnt stable. Ph up and down is stable and your nute solution doesnt change much over time. Baking soda and vinegar, your ph can drip up or down quickly. If you have to proper humidity you can remove your lid at any time. Cheers
