So I thought I was going to finish it off, but I’m still at 10% amber and mostly clear... pushing for another week and harvest next weekend... weird little plant—- still spitting out white pistols. I jumped the flush, but water only for now.

Gave her the old chop! 48 hours of darkness, iced the soil, and trimmed the fan leaves. Getting a bud wash and hanging to dry for 7-10 days.

So this was a 1 gallon pot with my first experiment with topping autoflowers. So I learned a lot from this grow—- not going to top autos, and minimum 3 gallon pots for autos in soil when yield is a goal.
Other than that, this is a nice smelling, sticky bud. Sneak test has been positive and the bud tastes great—- just a bit harsh because of the lack of cure. I have two more of these seeds and look forward to popping them out and seeing what more I can do with it!

48hours darkness, can I have a bit more info on this topic? I mean from your experience does it helps with the bud swell or mainly trichomes production?
I was thinking if I turn off the light the plant won't photosynthesis buds stop trichomes production? on the other hand it's said UV breaks down trichomes

@DTaro, I don’t know if it works or not, but the theory is ice and darkness to mimic winter coming and stresses the plant to produce more trichomes.. there are videos on YouTube about this
