Sooo I'm doing diaries on a couple of auto strains from MSNL. Their photos have always been good to me for the price so I've decided to break into the auto world. I germed in cup and paper towel with SuperThrive and they popped up a couple of days later. Using Happy Frog and perlite mix.
Just spraying with plain water for now. This will be an organic grow just to get used to the ruderalis growth pattern. So no nutes this run just slightly amended soil and plain old water. Moving along much faster than photo strains I've observed with side branching galore.. Liking this so far but we shall see....
LST'd fhe girls this week to try and get a bunch of colas evened out but they're still a bit short so basically they're all leaning rather than bending but oh well it'll work...
So from what I've read this is about the time that they should start to reveal their sex and start to gear up for production. Still not gonna run any nutes or boosters this go just to see a natural yield. LST is definitely a good move for this strain. Bushed out like crazy and still growing upward.
Well I am pleased to report pistils and bud sites everywhere on these lovely ladies. Probably gonna have to defoliate on the 2 Caramelicious in front as its the busier of the two strains but the Lemon Haze plants are more lanky but still 12+ colas each
So these babies are now fully grown and have made it over the 2ft mark. I've done a lot of research about height with autos and as long as all these colas produce it should make for a decent yield. We shall see....
Well they are doing what little green girls do. Basking and growing like a weed. The sites are starting to fill out. Love to see calyx and they're here poking those pistils out but there ain't no pollen here baby... stop being hos
There was a hiccup in the operation this week due that could very well ruin this grow but life happens and I don't play with mold in my house so outside they must go with their photoperiod friends. I can't believe my floor is about to cave in. F*n plumber.... Only wish they weren't so far away so I could've updated better but c'est la vie ya know. It scorching out there though and I can't water often. Honestly this will kill my yield bc my light cycle indoors is backward from nature due to stealth needs plus heat and water stress too at this critical phase in flower development. FML.....
Pics next week...
This remote growing BS is just that but I got out there one night and found em somehow lol 😆. Pics suck but I found a new place so they will be coming home soon. Hope this doesn't wreak too much havoc on the end result. As always we shall see...
Just about done as they're gonna get. Don't really have to flush since I didn't run nutes and I got color from one of the Caramelicious so if they had color to give it was brought out naturally. Will be chopping in a few days...
I really enjoyed this strain. From the amazing stretch before flower to her resilience outdoors and surviving to harvest about an ounce off each. They were very uniform unlike the other strain I grew. No wild colors but an almost bluish silvery sheen. Pics don't do justice. And the smell is lemony 100%. After the dry and cure this stuff filled a few jars and the smoke is daytime dream. The smoke is thick for a sativa but rich in citrus. The exhale is like lemon sorbet on the tongue. This is potent stuff too so I will run these again for sure.
