Not much this week. Just waiting for germination and initial growth. No nutrients yet, just tap water at around 300ppm. First home grow at my new place so fingers crossed...!
Not a lot going on with the plants this week. I did go ahead and transplant them into their forever pots, although I think I did it a bit early... I was finally able to finish my DIY grow light. It is super bright and the girls seem to be loving it. Have to be super careful though. I did kill a plant due to leaving a droplet of water at the top site and the new light burnt it up :(. No worries though. Live and Learn.
Still not a lot going on... but the 4 that are left seem to be doing great so far. Still in the closet for this week but will be "upgrading" to a new tent soon.
Okay, missed a few weeks and some big updates. Got a new 5x5 tent set up in the garage now. My DIY light fits perfectly! I put an AC unit in there as well to get the environment some more stability. As for the girls, we started some pretty heavy LST and defoliation. At least a lot more of a bend than I have done before. But they seem to be loving it and looking great.
Oh, my poor girls... No, really they are doing fine! The training and defoliation continue to be a bit heavier than I am used to but the girls are responding so well. The pictures this week are right after a round of training and feeding, I assure you they looked much better the next day. I will try to get some before and after shots for the next update.
The girls have recovered well from the massive defoliation of week 7, sorry no week 8 update. This was the first week of flower and it has gone great. The girls are starting to stretch up a bit looking for that last little bit of light and preparing to make some massive buds! I couldn't be happier with their progress so far.
These ladies are looking great. I am so happy with this grow so far. I am dealing with slightly warmer temperatures this week due to a second tent setup that is sharing the exhaust. So far it has not been a problem but I am keeping a closer eye on things while they acclimate to the change. Other than that things are right on track for a bountiful harvest!
