Hey Bro, i see you are using Fox Farm, I use to use that, is important to use also Big Bloom because is organic and not too hot, there is their schedule, in the site or type in the google images. You start cutting the suggested dosage by a 3rd. There is a product i always suggest, called Real Growers Recharge, is a combo of beneficial bacteria fungie humic vulvic ect, prevents many problems like PH and Nute locks. To tell what the plant needs is simple, you check the leafs, if the green became weak pale, you increase the dosage, if leafs burn in the tip/ curb down you decrease. As for the problem i see is Calcium deficiency, you can have a look on my northern lights diary to see how it evolves. That can be caused by too much of a certain mineral, ph lock or lack of it, start cutting all your nuts and using Recharge or something like it, voodoo juice(another option ect... From there you use the FF schedule in the way I suggested. Good luck happy growing

Lennut Sorry for the skip in pictures. I was trying to take pictures everyday but got busy the last few days. I am very happy with her so far and really enjoy watching the buds grow. I ordered a dehumidifier and going to get some CO2 pads today. I wonder if I made wine in my text how co2 the bottle gives off. Has anyone every tried this?

Lennut Looks like some of the spots I seen in the beginning has came back. Looks as if only half of the plant has these spots. I am unsure if this could be corrected but I am just going to finish the schedule I having been following. The baby is growing up great and the adjustments in feeding she got because of what I learned on the first one has paid off. She is starting to bud and she had no spots and looks healthy.

Lennutstarted grow question 7y ago
Both of these seeds were Big Bud Autos from MSNL. I topped the first one and just let the second one grow. What did I do that made her get so tall? Is this bad? Does this mean buds will be very small? If getting a tall big plant was the goal I have won. Is this a failure to come?

Don’t worry You stunn them for a week or less If you want big main bud this is something bad if you like medium size buds this is ok But still you lose 5to 8 days I will highly recommend you to do just lst Almost same effect and less stunning

When topping or fimming a plant its crucial to tie down or controll the the tops once recovered or they will shoot up like yours have it's all a learning process next time I would advise topping then tieing the topped tops down once recovered, this will make most other branches fight to be tops then its just maintaining the canopy as it grows have a look through my diaries at weeks one to 6 to see what I do if u need any help on your next grow give me a message better luck next time at least your still gonna harvest better than nothing dude

It doesn’t look to be anything you did they look like they went through a heavy stretch during flower which is somewhat common in some strains

This was my very first grow. It was a incredible learning experience. I nutrient lock out a few times from over feeding her and she still did great. I got a wet weight of 22.26 oz from her. and can't wait on her dry weights. I will update when I pull her down from drying... 5/25/2018 Update after Drying: I got 6.5 OZ after drying and curing. The high is great but a little harsh taste. I don't think I got her completely flushed and I think thats why she is a little harsh. I am not happy with the density of the buds. Id like them more dense and really unsure if it was my feeding or my light that caused this. Probably a little of both...

I'm no expert but I hear and read most damaged leaves should be removed to focus growth in buds. people say the plants energy focuses on helping the damage instead of flower? I have defoliated my autos with no sign of stress. check out my ko crop. it's my first grow too.
Experimentgreen
Experimentgreen commented7y ago
@Lennut, Removing lower leaves and tiny branches that are basically getting only shadowed light is good, those areas are definitely stealing energy from your upper bigger branches and buds. Defoliation can be good, but only up to a certain point, if you remove too many of the leaves up top that are absorbing the light and sending it to the buds, you could end up with very stunted small buds. The popcorn buds like some others have mentioned. Happy growing to you.

@rusty_grizwald,listen to her I learned it the hard way 😑

@rusty_grizwald, This is a contested topic that fascinates me. I’m no farmer, but the common belief that small, weak or damaged growth inhibits cannabis flower production (by stealing energy) is illogical. The plant knows its cycle. When it’s time to flower, it will focus upon that, which of course will weaken further the already weak growth. I submit that each cutting of the plant inflicts some stress. I don’t pamper my tomato plants. The leaves often look awful and I still get great and plentiful tomatoes.

You’re also using grow nutrients then she is in flower I would suspect that is why you have such a lanky plant✌️🏻

@PharmaZ, I having not been on top of this dairy the last few weeks. I am using fox farms chart I just didn't update this site. This is my first grow AND I am sure my feeding is off but I am using bloom not grow

Are you switching to water because you are flushing prior to harvest? Your girl is not ready for harvest. She finished her stretch, and now its time for her to pack up those buds! Do some research on what pistils look like when its time to harvest. Also, invest in a little hand held microscope, or jeweler's loupe, so you can get a look at the trichomes. They should mostly be milky when its time to flush and harvest.
Quexos
Quexos commented7y ago
@Lennut, I've read lots of things too. I'm going to flush for about 2 weeks because I really pushed the flowering nutes on this plant. I want to make sure all those nutes are flushed. I started my flushing when I determined the plant had about 2 weeks until harvest. I'm using pistils (color and appearance), trichomes, and fading fan leaves as my rule of thumb. I'm still seeing the buds fill out a bit so I know she isn't quite done.

@Quexos, Your plant looks awesome!!!! I will be follow you for sure. This is my first ever grow so I was surprised to get anything. Look forward to have buds like yours

@Lennut, Honestly, if you look back at my grow, I was pretty clueless when I started. There are several other growers who kept giving me great feedback, and helped me by discussing different ideas that I had. If I could, I'd share a nice phatty with them for all their invaluable help.

I did like experimentgreen said. I liked the result. just remember all plants are different. my gorrila glue is not liking my grow, hated lst, pounds water and wants more.

Also, I nut lockout a few weeks ago thus the reason for the rusted leaves I believe. My run off was 4.5 and I flushed her and the spots stopped but didn't recover from damage already. I hope she gives me something to be proud about
Lennut
Lennut commented7y ago
The baby is much healthier but I am unsure why she grew so damn tall. I topped the other one and just let this one grow and she is taller than me and I am 6 ft tall. I had to tie her down because the light is at the highest I can go. I guess I did something wrong that made her Stretch so much. We will see what see produces in the end.
the end.
