Ok. Here's a big update of this beautiful girl. So when starting in this new craft, my husband and I went cheap. Didn't know what we were doing. Thats ok though. We've heard from many people that no matter what, no matter how much you know, you will always learn. Well. We added 3 brand new 1000 watt lights in our new grow area which is right next to the closet we have our beautiful girl under a t5 florescent light. Temps increased last week and caused us to havest two plants (even when they weren't 100% ready) Our girl was effected by the heat and started yellowing. We cooled the rooms down and now have a steady daily temp of 74 degrees. We also noticed her ph in the soil was 8. We purchased some ph down. (FYI for those that don't know. When you add ph down. Literally do it drop by drop per gallon) we dropped the ph and so far so good right.......no. shes still yellowing. Guess what?! Spider mites! Found them today. Pics this week are after we drowned her. Moved plants, treated her room, drained her well and moved her back in. *FYI for spider mites I've only used bleach water spray in the room.* We will see if the yellowing goes away. Hopefully she will be fine and continue to keep blossoming. We went a head and trimmed off a couple branches that were not reaching the light and anything that would take away from the main bud sites. We hope we will be more successful with her then the previous attempts on plants. Although we've had issues, we were at least prepared this time to handle the situation more quickly. Fingers crossed she heals well. We will keep checking on her more closely because we hope with everything we've learned, we can try to bring her back.

After a plant has been in flower for 5 weeks and has gone through basically hell for a plant, should we still try to bring her back to life? Heat Exhaustion, High PH in soil, and a drowning to get rid of spider mites. Doesn't look like she's doing anything anymore.

For non toxic options (you’re going to consume the flower, right?) : -Diatomaceous earth (non toxic white powder that shreds apart pests, no harm to plants) -Nematodes (you water them into soil, they kill pests from the inside out) -Lady bugs (they eat them up, no harm to plants) -Neem oil - dip your plants or foliar spray application -Essential oils (rosemary, oregano, mint, lemon, orange mixed with water foliar application) Food for thought, do some research on each. Good luck again
