First hydro attempt in small 600x600x1000mm box, both seeds popped quickly and adjusted to the net pots with drip pump without any issues, roots rapidly growing at the end of the week now.

Still going nice strong and fast, got to the 3rd node much quicker than I imagined so have topped the left one already, hopefully the other will be a few days behind, Big root growth now already reach the bottom and swirling around in the water.

Still going good, plants are a little harder to bend/tie down without stems breaking as they are always plump with water. Roots still looking healthy and hopefully it stays that way as I cannot get hold of hydroguard anywhere. Right side plant showed sex on final day of week 3.

Still going strong and fast, changed to bloom nutrienta. many more pistils popping up on both plants now. Roots still looking good despite no hydroguard

Having to defoliate every couple of days due to rapid growth. Roots still healthy, somehow the smaller plant has more rootmass than the larger plant, drinking much more water.

Going strong, roots still looking prime, buds starting to form on the left plant despite being younger, both plants surprisingly sticky already despite no crystals showing, running out of height from leds now.

To other growers which top and manifold their plants, do you prefer fewer branches with big colas for example 6 or 8 main colas with everything else trimmed off, or do you prefer as many branches as possible as long as they reach the top canopy?

As long as they don't get too bulky, i go for fewer colas per plant. Reduces trimming time. Can easily snip them down to golf-ball sized nugs too. You can leave the lower level stuff too. Usually need to thin it out a bit, if you do. As far as maximizing a yield, that's the way to go. Trimming all that off doesn't equally increase mass up top, even if it does give it bump. Don't leave too much below and it won't impact it in any significant way. it should all be an even canopy too... prune it up 3-5 days before 12-12, if necessary. I like 9, or am trying 9 per plant in about 15"x15" space on the og cookies grow.. not in bloom yet. Approaching 2nd topping/pruning. 3x3 colas makes a square. shape of where it fits might impact # of colas. Stick to 1 every 4-6 inch x 4-6" and you'll do well. the ~4" would be better with fewer plants with more colas, i.e. smaller. ~9 is 1 per 5x5in space. while i don't maximize yield, i should have excellent airflow. i've had mold issues before and take it a little more seriously now, lol. You can leave plenty behind underneath canopy and still have excellent airflow. Just thin it out a bit. spread out what you cut off so it's fairly even on each vertical shoot as best you can. figure more colas = more work come trimming time, but probably a similar yield per sq ft. all other factors the same. fewer colas increases risk of mold and such. more plants means more work watering... but also diversifies risk a bit.

Buds forming nicely but still stretching, had to change to smaller tote to gain more height as was getting light burn, now 36L instead of 64L

Still a little yellow, not entirely sure if it's light burn or nutrient difficiency, or both, roots are still very healthy white but have also added some Orca for good measure. Light burn still not improving and may have shocked the plant quite badly, going to remove LEDs now which is funny as I thought these leds wouldnt be good enough and was planning on running 6 instead of the current 4. Despite the still undeveloped buds it has a fantastic sweet tropical/pineapple smell and super sticky but worried the plant is shocked and they won't fill out in time, tempted to begin a new grow shortly and remove some LEDs.
