@TeflonDonFarms,
Yeah it really is but honestly she is probably going to be stunted anyway so it may give her a chance to bounce back and stay small but produce some stinky ganja.
I have her in an airpot which really minimizes transplant stress. They just open up sideways and you lay it perfectly into the next pot. I doubt it’s really worth it though. She will probably just be a little crispy thing in the corner that I end up feeding to the worms.
We all go back to the dirt in the end.
Hi.
I will not fix your garden for you, but i will give you some points to start from:
airpot or similar is good, they provide good air exchange and prune the radicals so they will "split" more and better cover the vase. Most of the time, in regular vase, plants wants more space and end up making a "wall" of radicals on the face of the vase wall, leaving the "core" of the vase unfilled.
Soil need to have some equilibrium. Beside the right NPK ratio, one really important factor is the C:N ratio, that will directly influence the N availability. That ratio is the reason of crop rotations... read about it ;)
Whatever you "cover" the top of the soil with, it will make a big impact: most of the water you give the plant, is just evaporating trough soil (moss is a good moist retainer, while grass and similar are usually also a competitor and "steal" water from more deep soil).
Soil does not need to be dry, nor wet, nor a cycle of the 2. But making it the right way is hard, so it's usually easier to go cycle: you will not make 100%, but it will be good enough :)
And, to really know what is all about, study "vapor pressure in plants". At the end, is all about making the up and down part work for each other....
Air exchange and air movement in the room is REALLY important. Would you like to choke on your own exhales? Or to have half body in front of a fire and half cold?
About training & friends, i'm having my best results with a mix of everything, just do it at the right time and in the right amount. It can be EASILY deleterious to the final yield if you exceed.
At the end of the day, plants are selected by nature. What you want to do is to "exploit" the abilities of the plants and make the habitat in regard.
The most basic example: sun movement on the sky and plant shape VS indoor light. How can you exploit what is there to make the best of it? And of course, there are maaaaaany more aspects to keep in mind.
@OneDude,
Wow, thank you for all the feedback! I appreciate it.
I would encourage you to check out some of my other diaries to see my healthy plants! This one was just an experiment for fun so I wasn't expecting much. My soil mix was too hot for autoflowering plants and I know that now!
I am designing my grow room masterpiece as we speak. Stay tuned!

From my short experience I’ve had a bunch of real small gals due to stress from me making mistakes but those ladies always produced the densest tasty buds! 😂😂😂 your right we all go back in the dirt!!!!!
@TeflonDonFarms,
Haha yeah I was pretty lifted when I wrote that but I stand by it.
My new grow style is really trying to just emulate nature as much as possible and get out of the plant’s way. Invest in genetics and lights let the girls shine on their own.
RIP, I thought she was near harvest at first sight :( what if you flush like crazy? I mean you have nothing to lose, maybe those small growths will save her
