Raise your PH, lower PH levels in DWC cause these problems

This is a Chlorella Alga — a single-celled green Alga , it does not represent harm, it just does not look neat , it appears from moisture , and most importantly from light without light, it does not live! I don't think the problem is caused by algae! I think this is the wrong NPK or too high ppm!

Hello When you have that yellow/bright green new growth it can sometimes be down to an iron deficiency. It will typically come in bright and then turn green as it grows out, but it's also fairly common to see this on a young veg plant. So with the calmag supplement and the Canna additions it's most likely just running it's normal course. Just keep the ph in the right zone and the mild nutrients and you should see it grow out of this with time.

Hey Growmie, Thanks for the extra pictures, after looking closer it seems your not giving the plant enough nitrogen. Slightly up the dose and I mean slightly and this will correct your problem. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

Hey! Humidity is alright, 60% is good for veg. I'd say it's got to do with nutrients, given those brown, rusty tip spots I'd maybe the beginning of a calcium deficiency. A bit early to tell but keep an eye on that, if those brown spots keep spreading you'll to give more calcium. (remember when mixing your nutrients, CalMag always goes first, micro, then grow/bloom nutrients, last PH adjusters.) Hope this helped. Good luck and happy growing!

6 ph is the utmost top level for veg. Starting some elements to not be available. Bring your ph to 5.8 and adjust if it goes back to 6 or falls to 5.5. Your ec at this stage should be 1.2, increase 100ppm every week if you see good growth. Stop at 1.6 to 1.8, if you need to go that high. Canna nutes has plenty of calcium and magnesium so on add if and when you see a cal/mg defficiency. Keep things in check and your girl will thrive. Keep frozen bottles of water or cooler packs to throw in your rez when the water heats up. Cool water is your best defense from root slime, rot. Cheers friend

Some strains are just that way. Usually if they take a bit to finish they are usually doing well. The manufacturer suggested flowering time is just that. Always go off the trichomes! 🤘😤

Howdy, your flowers should grow a bit more, but, to be blunt, by not a huge amount. I noticed in your diary that you are only using "aqua vega" as your main nutrient, which I believe is designed more for the vegetative growth cycle. It may help to give your plants a dedicated "bloom/flower" type of nutrient as these have a different formulation that is for optimised flower growth and this may help to give your flowers a bit more density. Otherwise you could start using a separate "P/K" booster in addition to just continuing with the "aqua vega", if this is easier for you. During flowering, cannabis needs less nitrogen than it does during the "grow/veg" stage of life and needs more phosphorous (P) and potassium (K), for enhanced flower growth, and this is why nearly all fertilizer manufacturers offer different lines of nutrients for either the "grow/veg" stage and another one for the "flower/bloom" stage. It is generally accepted that "grow/veg" nutrients are stopped once the plant has started to form little "budlets" then change over to the "flower/bloom" nutrients for the rest of the flowering cycle, until just before harvest, where plain water is only given to give the plants a bit of a "clean" or as has become a popular saying, a "flush". Hope this helps,... Organoman.

Try feeding your girls at 6.3, your a tad low on your ph for flowering. Plants put on some pretty good weight the final flowering phase. Lower your nutes down to 500ppm 1.0ec. Cheers

hells to the yeah, even if she doesnt grow in volume she can still pack density. Just make sure the thc doesn't get overcooked and you end up losing potency. Stay lit growmie. The plant is looking like a Beast.

I would wait until you have some nice nuggies before adding th ok. Best to stay with grow nutes until you see button size buds forming then switch over to flower nutes and a week or 2 after that add the pk13. Dont add it on top of your other nute increasing your ec, knock back your flower nutes some to keep your ec about the same. Cheers

Looks healthy. Some minor nute burn but should start bulking up if ph has been consistent then might prefer a little extra phosphorus and potassium. Autos are light feeders compared to photoperiods. Good luck and enjoy the harvest. Happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊

How often are you doing water changes and are you taking the ppm reading from the reservoir or the solution your adding, you need to do both and weekly water changes or at the least fortnightly also what's the water temp of the reservoir, try to keep it around 18-20 degrees and you have algae growing because it's to wet and high humidity try lowering the water level. I looked at the nutes your using and I don't think it needs any cal-mag yet at this stage the other nutes have enough in them and for DWC raise the ph a little bit, I keep it around 6.0-6.2 if the ph gets to low in DWC it will effect the growth. I have grown Big Bud auto before in DWC check out my diary, Cheers Dan

@newtextdocument1, 1.1 EC should be okay but I wouldn't go any higher for now, with auto's just give half the required amount and you'll be right.
newtextdocument1

@Ned_Grows, My ph is stable, i was first week at 6.3 now when i added another half of my veg nutrients its drop to 6.0 but i checking ph 3x per day its alwasy same from yesterday my EC is 1.1 so i pray it was nut def and will not burn plants:D (Tap water wac 0.3EC from start)
Ned_Grows
Ned_Grows
@newtextdocument1, The best advice that I can give with DWC is regular water changes, I have found that this eliminates a lot of problems. The PH can fluctuate very quickly in DWC so keep an eye on it and it effects everything can look like nute deficiencies also if your using aeration have your air pump in a cool place that has access to fresh air because if you don't it pumps to much carbon dioxide into the water and it will also cause the PH to drop quickly. Some strains are more tolerant then others Big Bud is a fairly robust strain so you shouldn't have to much problems. Cheers Dan

Hey mate your plant is growing very slow for DWC at 5 weeks it should be a Monster by now. I noticed your daytime temp was only 21 degrees try raising the daytime air temp to around 25-28 degrees. Your PPM & PH both look good so they shouldn't be the problem the only other thing that matters is your lights you need strong full spectrum lighting.
