Vivosun 20”x36”x62” Tent

Beans were soaked in a mixed solution of Advanced Nutrients for 24hrs until they sank to the bottom of dish.
Placed onto paper towel with tweezers, folded and lightly soaked with solution. Then into 2 Mylar zipper bags inside one another for light deprivation.
Next I just set the bag in the corner of my tent for about 18hrs checking every few hours until I had a 1/8 to 1/4 inch tap root.
Placed germinated seed into 1/2 inch deep holes with tweezers very gently into their final homes. Covered with half 2L bottles (cap end) fully closed until today. (about 18hrs)

Both seedlings emerged within an hour or so of each other and I have unscrewed the lids on my makeshift humidity domes and just left them sitting on top.

Welcome to the Dark Devil Auto run attempt number two! I have been watering each plant 500mL each day just around the four inches closest to the stem. I usually turn all the plants a quarter turn twice a day and rotate them around every two days.
One of the plants is showing the same symptoms as the #1 smaller plant in my other grow with a slight ruffled and distorted leaf appearance? Thanks for stopping by!
What is causing the distortion and slight twist on leaves of just one plant? Had plant in my other dark devil grow do something similar and never narrowed it down?
this looks to be it is the strain, as it looks you are not doing anything wrong so stop trying to figure it out,
sometimes with each seed we pop we sometimes will
run into one that does not look right, sometimes we get mutants, runts, and just slower growers.
it is hard to say just why, theories could be had trouble getting out of her shell when she popped, the seed could have come from a lower branch perhaps the seed was underdeveloped
or maybe the seed did not cure right, so much. so chalk it up to a learning experience and remember no two plants are ever the exact same.
they are living plants we cultivate for those nice juicy buds.
so stop stressing, let the plant grow in to what she will become.
just remember not to over water and i am sure this one will produce some good bud for you, and you now have a special connection to this one.

Week has went ok. Still have issues with the problem child. I did a flush of 400ppm cal mag on day 9 and the new growth is actually perky with the leaves praying slightly. Haven’t watered at all since I flushed.
This is exactly the issue of the #1 plant in my other dark devil grow finishing up. I did nothing to correct it and it continued to exhibit same symptoms until week 2 of flower. I believe it to be a deficiency from the high output nature of my lighting as in my sour tangie grow, I had nutrient burn early on feeding reduced strength solutions. Most likely an increase in the transpiration rate of the plant?
The big one has went off without any issues at all. Just have been feeding every 2-3 days in a growing ring around the stem of plant.

The ladies moved into their forever home this week and didn’t miss a beat other than the one plant still having the same problem. I waited on LSTing the other to see if I can bounce it back a little.
I only watered twice this week, once being cal mag and once being nutrient solution. The problem child had plain water then nutrient solution. I will continue to feed the healthy plant as it becomes dry with two nutrient feedings followed by cal mag only. PC will be two plain water and a cal mag to see if that will help?

This week was about the best so far! Have still been feeding the problem one an alternation between nutes, water, cal mag. Both have been receiving training as needed. Slow one was topped at the beginning of the week and didn’t really stunt it. Was trying to stress it into flowering with the other one as to avoid the staggered harvest again. Thanks for stopping by!
Still having issues with the one plant. Have scoped it, no bugs. The other plants are doing awesome in the tent? I have absolutely no idea what happened to this one or #1 from my previous grow but the symptoms are identical. I have flushed it multiple time, reduced its feed, increased and all that. Dry not dry. If anyone has any insight, please!!!
This week I defoliated the leaves that were covering main sights and continued to train the branches as level as I could. The bud of the ok plant is progressing very fast and is smelling wonderful as alway! I will be sticking with the plan more strictly with the other one hopefully it pulls out. Bud development has started but is clearly way behind the other. Will be switching the well one mid week into the overdrive as I feel it is getting there and will be coming up on flush time before I know it. Thanks for stopping by!

Well she is recovering just fine and really starting to flower now. I have reduced the base nutrients and switched from big bud to overdrive. She will be going in the other tent hanging out with the new babies finishing up and then I’ll transplant them into their final home for flower. Happy Growing!
Really love this stain! The color is phenomenal with mostly shades of purple and some reddish on the interior. The bright orange pistils, dark fan leaf and a little green from the baby leaves really have a great contrast.
The smoke is a good hybrid with an initial rush like a ride to the moon 🌚 on a rocket 🚀 then that nice body buzz kicks in to mellow you out upon arrival. Then you definitely are going to need refreshments 😂

Will grow in the future! Had an issue with two of the four seeds. They just didn’t flower close enough to each other for them to even require the same nutrients toward the middle and end of grow cycle. Two grew like you would expect an XL to grow and two grew fast and stayed relatively small. Not an issue if I would have picked the seeds from bag differently 😂 just something to consider for larger spaces on a schedule. Very nice artisan type strain overall!
Just letting this girl take her sweet time. She is smelling o so berry! Flushed at beginning of week to around 175ppm and have just been giving declorinated tap water and zero ppm filtered water. Will post some tricomb shots soon. Happy Growing!!!!
Hey man, looks like you could do with your light closer. If you adjust it to a height giving around 650 ppfd for a 18/6 schedule according to manufacturers guidance you’ll get the full potential from the light allowing the plants to get close to 40 moles per day!
Some leaves appear to have symptoms of microscopic mites. :/
If you have a magnifying glass (+60x) or microscope, try checking the leaves from the reverse side.
If it's not these mites, it could be a virus or a rare mutation.
