kurtzweil This is my second grow, first time in AutoPot. I will try to LST + one topping as previously only done LST and were happy with the results. The medium is BioBizz Light Mix mixed by me with perlite and clay pebbles so it will be 50/50 ratio soil to rest of ingredients. I did this time "Just add water" strategy as with my previous grow I suspect Orgatrex of burning my plants (nitrogen burn was in 2nd or 3rd week). So I have skipped it and added startrex + soil flush at the beginning, then bactrex with 1l water to each pot and mycotrex for the hole that I threw the seed into. Lamps were on so the seedling would know where's the sun ;-) I have planted two seeds in coco coir in the target AutoPot as I can't be bothered and this style works for me. I have 100% germination rate with that. I constantly measure the conditions of the soil. AutoPot is not turned on yet, as there is not enough roots to support it. I moisten the medium with water spray once a day but sensors say it's 40% moist so it's in the middle of what should be. I already see that - correct me if I'm wrong - i got two different pheno types, one is thinner with longer leaves and second has fatter leaves and is a bit bigger. Wonder if that will result in different outcomes for flo time ;-) this time I planted two of the same so I don't have to find ways to dry the lady that gets first. I know I should humidify, etc - but I really believe they will do just fine. I am curious tho on your possible comments regarding the difference with shapes and looks of these two plants from the same strain.

Hi, could you look at both plants, one looks slightly disfigured. Both are the same batch of seeds. Is it something I should be concerned about? They are like, I don't know, have more teeth than the other plant, have holes on edges and are narrower. Or is it normal for first?

Hey there Kurtzweil, plants are unique individuals called phenotypes, you have more totally stable phenotype and one phentotype it looks a bit more unstable at this young age. I'm quite sure it's nothing to worry about, sometimes this does happen at the start of the seedling's life, usually it will "muscle through" and will not be stunted after. So dont worry too much but keep monitoring it. Hope this helps ! 🚀

kurtzweil Righty grows as on steroids. Beautiful plant. All is symmetrical, strong and above expectations. But the second one, Lefty... well, he looks like he cannot decide whether to be a plant or hay. He does not drink much, he does grow but look at the leaves, they are not symmetrical, twisted, whole plant looks malformed and disformed. It is such a difference between two of them. I don't know whether to chop it now or risk further growing and him becoming hermie or worse.

One of my two plants (same strain, same seed batch) is significantly weaker than the second. It is disformed from day 1, looks ugly. Is it just a stunted grow or bad genetics? Should I chop it? Can it become hermie and spoil my harvest and waste my time? Drinks less than 2nd.

Hi MangoDudu, thank you for your answer. I have limited space, I can pop in another seed of that strain (never again Green House Seeds, one was dud, other was twin and both died). I know that the decision needs to be made now so I am collecting all the advice from fellow growers that I can. What would you do? I cannot decide whether to give it time or just start a new one that will be 2 weeks behind his bigger sister.

New leaves tend to look slightly better, but have less fingers than on 2nd plant. Will she grow out of it or should I stop wasting time and just plant new seed?

Hello! looks like a loser seed. I have experienced plants that have recovered to be the largest and most beautiful and others that were better discarded. evaluate according to your spaces, times and needs. if you have space to germinate another seed maybe it is better to do it immediately, so as to avoid further delays, however the choice is to be made now. I with my spaces would plant another seed and evaluate later, if you do not have this possibility you have to decide whether to risk a little or throw some seeds and start again. Hope to help you and sorry for my english ✌️🏽💪🏼 Good luck , keep on growing

kurtzweil I have still not decided whether this "Lefty" plant is worth keeping or not. Seems like her genetics are really on the bad side. This is why you can see there another Super Silver Haze sprout in a cup, this could be a replacement. I will stomach somehow three weeks difference. But I don't want to nurture a plant that could be hermie. Anyways. Today (week 3 beginning) I have topped both plants and did defoliation on them. They look stretched now so I will definitively lower the lamp tomorrow. Also I will start doing LST on them tomorrow or in next days, and in 2-3 weeks deploy net. I hope they can go to flowering in 3-4 weeks.
