Finally moved these into the bigger tent after harvesting my last two plants from my last run.
They are growing quick, and already have side branches beginning to form. They are a bit ahead of the other varieties in the tent.
Things are moving along. Plants looked hardy enough to, I switched on the bloom function.
One plant is in a 3 gallon, another in a 5 gallon pot. First time using dry nutrients (as directed), keeping it simple and just watering with water ph’ed to 6.4
Vertical growth is really starting to pick up. White hairs visible at nodes. Removed 4 big fan leaves this week. Opened up a bit for better light penetration. One more week and I’ll introduce bloom nutrients.
Only one inch of vertical growth this week. The only strain in the tent not showing pistols. They may be short, but the side branches growth is pretty impressive- a lot of bud sites
I’ve got two of these plants. One in a 3 gallon ( who is just beginning to show white hairs), and one in a 5 gallon. They are taking forever to begin to flower.
I’m incredibly impressed with their structure. No training. But lots of bud spots. I can’t wait to see how crazy big they get- even if it takes forever
Relaying on help to finish these up. Had surgery a few days ago, and it’s nearly impossible for me to get to the tent. Hoping in a week or two I’ll be able to get down there myself to care for these girls in their final weeks
Gotta water a bit less and allow a deeper dry
These girls seem to be going south- fast.
At first I though it was overwatering and a calmag issue. Then possible underfeeding causing the increased yellowing.
Now I’m thinking it’s possible bug issues- I haven’t seen anything in the tent ( I haven’t looked in there in person since 12/17), but know I’ve got a few houseplants upstairs with aphids and fungus gnats.
Either way, they are still standing for now, and are budding up pretty quick.
Anyway I’m going to aim on getting down to the tent personally this weekend to evaluate the other plants, begin some harvests- and give these two a good once over for bugs.
Fed nothing but ph’ed 6.5 water for the past week and a half. I’ll start re introducing bloom nutrients on next feeding. Wanted to do everything I can to insure there’s girls make it to the end. They are currently the only two plants in the tent. Air movement is much better
🤞🏻
Took some time this week to remove a bunch of dried dying leaves, just to prevent future mold issues. Also added in a bit of liquid bloom nutes because I think I’ve got them a bit more under control.
Plant 1 ( the small one in the 3 gallon pot) is about one week further along. It’s starting to stack up nicely-
Plant 2 ( in the 5 gallon pot) is looking better- makes me think they were suffering from a combination of under feeding and ph variations.
Well- I’m happy to say that both of these plants are showing great progress and will definitely make it to harvest. The won’t make it in time for the PEV seeds contest- but I’m am thankful for the opportunity to try out this breeders seeds. These plants easily have 2-3 weeks left in them, and I’m in no rush to chop them. I want to see what they can do!
They have amazing structure- even with zero training whatsoever. I still have one seed left, and will grow this again when I have room in my tent.
Buds were trimmed but remain on stems to elongate dry time. For this reason I do not take a wet weight. Will update with dry weight in about a weeks time once buds are removed from stems and jarred up to cure.
Update- buds have been removed from stems and jarred up to begin curing
Plant 1- 22.2g
Plant 2- 42g
The buds on plant 1 are tighter and better formed.
