Gayek Hey everyone)) I'm going to grow the strain Number One from the seed bank Doctor's Choice. I'm starting this diary from the first week of vegetative growth, when the first five-finger leaf appeared; I always count the start of veg from the appearance of the first five-finger leaf. All the three-finger leaves have popped up, and I've been watering with regular settled water. I haven't done any training yet. The plant is building up its root mass. I want to try to get 22 colas from the plant.

Gayek The plant shot up, increasing its leaf mass. I water it as the pot dries out, every two days with a nutrient solution, alternating with water until it drains. 200 ml comes out of the drainage when I water with 1.6 liters of water or nutrient solution. I started training on 09/17/20, cutting pieces of 4 mm single-strand wire 12 cm long. I bent them with pliers to make hooks for tying up the stems.

Gayek I did LST training on the plant, bent the 16 formed branches, which grew 5 cm in a week. The plant shows great growth in width, lots of leaves, and the first five-fingered leaves that popped up dried up and fell off by themselves. I don't see any pre-flowers yet; the plant is focusing on developing the formed branches, and all the energy from the nutrients is going into growth for now.

Gayek 01.10.20 I watered with 1.8 liters of compote, I water whenever I have free time. 04.10.20 I watered with 2 liters of compote, fertilizers from Plantators (a Russian manufacturer), I removed the leaves that fell off by themselves and some that fell off when touched. I performed the "outer green ring" training, tied it to the screws that I attached to the grow bag, and secured it with office rubber bands. The branches bent parallel to the pot. The plant formed an "inner ring" of 10 stakes. The first stigmas appeared on 02.10.20, I now know that the plant is female and that's cool. My plants usually show the first stigmas around 40 days in, and I start the pre-flower a week after the first hairs appear. Wishing everyone a successful grow and a big harvest 💪 thanks to everyone who follows my diary 🙏😍

Gayek Hey everyone)) On 11.10, I had the last training session before flowering, I bent the colas, leveled all 26 colas to the same height, removed the leaves that started falling off by themselves, all the yellow ones that could fall off with just one touch. Today I watered with 2.3 liters of compote, spraying twice a day with HB-101 and twice a week with Budzilla. Let's not forget that this is an autoflowering plant. The plant is growing very rhythmically, both upwards and outwards. It has filled the tent 80% in width and depth, and that's not the limit yet; I just gave it Terra Vega 4 ml/l of water, there should be even more green mass. I'm finishing the 4th week of veg and switching to flowering on 12.10. Good luck to everyone and great harvests!👍💪

Gayek On 12.10, I switched the plant to feeding with compote for flowering, using Plantators Terra Flowers. I water with compote for 2 days and then one day with plain water. I mix the nutrients according to the manufacturer's chart and will gradually increase the dose. When preparing the water for mixing the nutrients, I add 2 drops of orthophosphoric acid; I stopped measuring pH because 3 devices show nonsense, so I’m looking at the condition of the leaves of the plant. I determine what elements are lacking based on the plant's health. On 17.10, I watered with 2.5 liters of compote and bent 29 branches, managing to form them. The plant perceives a low level of stress, but I’m carefully bending them to avoid damaging the stems. The last bend was done, and now the plant is directing all its energy into developing the buds. I’m still spraying the leaves twice a day. The plant has stretched across the entire tent, and as I understand it, this is not the limit; the branches will be pressed against the walls of the tent. Wishing everyone great harvests and problem-free grows, see you next week! 👋

Gayek I water like this: 2 days of compost - 1 day of water - 1 day dry. Foliar feeding follows this scheme: once a week Diamond Dust + Molasses, twice a week Budzilla, every day HB-101. On 26.10, I removed all the dead leaves, the stretch ties are still holding the colas, should I remove the ties a bit later or is it better to leave them until harvest? The plants have noticeably increased in height and width.

Gayekstarted grow question 6y ago
During the flowering stage, I'm mixing a compote with N - 4.2, P - 3.2, K - 8, Mg - 0.96. The leaves at the tips are turning yellow; it might be a deficiency of some element, but I don't think it's an excess. I want to understand why the leaves are turning yellow.

Could be a calcium deficiency, not sure honestly, I haven't had enough experience to say for sure. One thing I do kno is it deffo isn't nitrogen deficiency because that would start from the lower leaves upwards. Hope this helps abit

Gayek A week has passed without any significant changes. I forgot to mention that after 2 waterings, I add molasses with banana powder to the standing water, mix it in one container, and water this mixture at the root. I'll attach the instructions here in a photo. I stopped spraying on the leaves since week 8 because watering while spraying can wash off the trichomes from the buds and leaves. The flowering boost has started; the plant will be switched to plain water on November 20-25. I've adjusted the nutrients to 4 ml/l now. Terra Flora, after watering, I give a liter of this mixture every week: Diamond Dust 1g/l + VitAminka 1 ml/l. 2 liters at the root. After 2 waterings, I make a mix of banana peels, molasses, and Baikal EM-1. There is a small problem with the leaves of the plant: the leaves are curling up, the petioles are turning red, and the plant's growth has slowed down; the buds are developing very slowly. The trichomes are weakly expressed. Wishing everyone good harvests and problem-free grows 💪👍

Gayek My 9th week since the first 5-bladed leaves appeared, from this moment I started counting the veg, so now it's the 10th week since the first five-bladed leaves, not from seed germination. So, there are 3 weeks left, not 4, until harvest. This week I stopped feeding with bloom nutrients and stimulants; now the plant is consuming the remaining minerals from the soil and redirecting them to the buds. The plant stretched a bit more, about 5 cm this week, and I had to tie up the side branches that grew taller than the rest; I had to level them with all the others. The leaves stopped falling this week, so everything is great. Yellow leaves are normal; the plant has been eating well throughout the flowering stage. From the 9th week, I'm switching the plant to Ripen for 10 days of watering, and a week of pure water every day with 2 liters until excess drains out. The plant is gaining mass; I checked the trichomes with a handheld microscope, and they started to cloud up. I’ll keep the plant until 40% amber; that’s what I originally aimed for, that’s what I need. All the buds started to swell from the top down to about half the branch, fully covered with buds. Watch the growth dynamics week by week. There are more and more trichomes every day. Wishing for all ripe and excellent harvests! 👏

Gayek Since the 10th week, I switched to Ripen, using standing water for watering. Once a week, I give molasses with banana peels. I forgot to mention that 1.5 weeks ago, I did a defoliation of the lower leaves, and the weak ones that were taking all the energy, which meant the other buds were getting less nutrients. I really should have removed leaves from the start; I always used to do that, but this time I wanted to see the full branching of the genetics. The leaves started to yellow actively, and the buds have grown 5 cm taller since last week, gaining mass in width.

Gayek Last week before harvest. Growth has started to slow down, a lot of leaves have begun to yellow, the plant is transitioning into fall mode. I fed Ripen 5 ml/l of water for 10 days. I’ll be watering with just water for 10 days, and then the plant will go under the knife. I’m disappointed with the light and the fan that blows out. Watering 2 liters of water daily until drainage. I also sprinkled a bit more banana peel into the soil and watered with water mixed with molasses. All the thick and tall colas 💪👍

Doctors Choice #1.

Gayek I really liked this strain for its low maintenance with nutrients, easy watering, and care, and I'm very satisfied with the result. If part of the light hadn't broken, I probably would have had more buds at harvest. I really enjoyed the taste of #1, and the most important thing is the percentage ratio of sativa to indica. Thanks to everyone who supported me and stayed with me until harvest, thanks to the light manufacturer for its wonderful light, and a huge thank you to the seed producer, Doctor, you are the best! I wish you were my friend. I grew all the strains from your seed bank, and everything turned out as always at the highest level👌 seed germination was 100/100. Interestingly, on the side of the light where the LEDs burned out, the branch growth is lower than on the side where the LEDs are intact. Good luck to everyone, and see you in the next grow🙏😊

@Doctors_Choice, the soil itself is very good, fertile, the most important conditions, temperature, humidity, and feeding have a great impact on the plant's development, the plant is now in its 5th week and there are a lot of leaves. Doctors_Choice, can you advise how long to keep this plant in flowering for the flavor of the buds to fully develop and for the stone to be more sativa-like?
Doctors_Choice
Doctors_Choice commented6y ago
@Gayek, this is autoflowering strain and it will start flowering automatically. Usually, the flowering begins after the 5th week. if u want the stone effect it's better to harvest a little bit earlier. Check your trichomes, the colour should be milky, slightly golden

@Doctors_Choice, Hi Doc✋)) I'm curious, what does professional grow mean? I really want to be a professional, but I just don't understand what conditions are needed for that. I want to grow, I want to learn new things. Guide me on the professional path, not on a large scale, maybe just with one or two plants so I can gain some experience. And I wanted to ask, how is my grow going and what mistakes am I making? Thank you, your opinion is very important to me Doc🙏
Doctors_Choice
Doctors_Choice commented6y ago
@Gayek, interesting question 😀 up to me It's all relative and at last the buds itself matter. what goals you have? to become professional only for yourself or to earn money on this? as i see there should be practice and practice and a lot of practice. U should taste and grow differents varieties, use different grow techniques and find the optimal solution for u. the more u taste the better understanding u have. Don't be afraid of mistakes - they make u stronger. And don't panic, there should be a balance in the grow, don't give too much or underfeed your plant, don't hesitate plant if everything is OK - find the balance and everything will be OK! Keep it up 😉
Gayek
Gayek commented6y ago
@Doctors_Choice, I don't really understand what I'm expecting from nature. I want to grow more than nature can provide. I look to nature to grasp the essence of problems or maybe new discoveries for myself. I asked how to be a professional, to create plants that obey me, looking at the plants so I can see the whole structure on which the plant lives, or am I demanding what I already know? I just want to be noticed and get into a community where people can do something new, to produce nature as it was once created from molecules, and now we have what we have, but it could have turned out differently. I want to understand if it shouldn't turn out differently, maybe it should be just as it is? I'm talking about, for example, if I plant a seed in a tent larger than mine and see how big the plant will get, to understand how my conditions don't suit this specific type of plant, specifically referring to autoflowering plants.

Hey, bro! What kind of light is that?
Gayek
Gayek commented6y ago
@Ydarnik87, bro I have a problem with this light, I lost 30% of the power, the UV 7 LED burned out on my board, and because of it, part of the light doesn't work. The manufacturer of this light offered to replace the diode. I was hoping for an even better result, thought I could get 200g/200W, I was aiming for that result, but I have to extend the flowering a bit to get a little more out of it. I wouldn't recommend buying LED lights if you don't have enough resources for replacements, for example. I've had a lot of manufacturers of lights, and I want to say either I'm unlucky, or there isn't a manufacturer yet that has reliable LED diode crystals.

so, i don't think its a problem - the plant is in active flowering and she'll take all the nutrients from the leafs and that's Ok for that time. Just continue to feed her according t your plan
Gayek
Gayek commented6y ago
@Doctors_Choice, I still figured out the reason for the reddening of the leaf stems, and it starts with the reddening from the stem of the plant towards the tips of the leaves. After the "mosaic" stage when there are deficiencies on the leaf, the next stage is that the leaves start to yellow and fall off randomly. Right now, the plant is being fed nutrients at 4 ml/l., N - 4.2, P - 3.2, K - 8, Mg - 0.96. In the ninth week, I will increase it to 5 ml/l. I water with stimulants once a week, every other day with banana peels, molasses 10 ml/l., Baikal EM-1. Once a week, I use different stimulants as indicated in the feeding table outlined weekly. Yes, you are right, the stage when the plant puts all its energy into developing flowers, the 7th week when the trichomes increased, in the 8th week, the flowers and the appearance of new calyxes are wider than they are tall. Doctor's Choice, please advise on the plant's genetics; I've noticed it's not very tall, or did I bend it across the entire tent so that the stems showed the maximum height typical of autos with similar genetics that were bred into this strain Jack Herer x Skunk #1 x Lowryder. Clear my doubts, Doc))

I bent it and ended up with 33 tops, all over the tent now, in full width and depth, the quality of the stuff is already noticeable, a test for the quality of the stuff will be in a week. It's all about how we plant and what we put into the little one, I grow the plants I need. Now I'll try to maximize the height of the tent, to extract all the nutrients from the plant, so it directs the substances towards vertical growth. With micronutrient additives, you can very well regulate the plant's growth. Macronutrients are needed for flowering.

@heizen, I didn't quite understand your message, what's wrong? My equipment broke down, the light fixture and the inline fan failed, I had to replace them at the end of the grow, and the filter stopped absorbing odors.

@heizen, I didn't quite understand what you meant, but I had some issues. I have a Siyanie 215 W light, and the Mars Hydro SP250 broke down after less than a month. The exhaust fan, vents TT Pro 125 mm, also failed, so this grow turned out to be a bit of a stretch. I was aiming for 250 g per plant like before, but with a different light, a 250 W HPS. I needed that height for the colas; otherwise, they would hit the light if that's what you're talking about. Plus, this is a mix of Jack Herer + skunk + Lowryder, so the plant won't be taller than 150 cm! It's an auto, and the conditions I have won't allow it to fit within the limits of my tent. As you say, the height is from 180 cm. My tent is only 150 cm tall, with a usable height of 120 cm, so the fact that I applied LST 4 times means the plant increases by about 10 cm each time.
the end.
