I had an infestation of flying. Devil's. It was bad , I used Damascus Earth. I also bought neem oil and castle soap but haven't used it yet. One whole month, should I just start over? I also changed my lights from full spectrum to 20 percent blue and 50 red. Should I use the full spectrum and move them up, or use a custom spectrum? What should the percentage be??

If this is 5 weeks old there is something majorly wrong. You say flying devils do you mean Fungus Gnats if so they lay eggs that hatch into larvae and they eat the plants roots, to combat this you could water it with mix of hydrogen peroxide and water with a ratio of 1 to 3, it will burn and kill the larvae but if this is an autoflower at week 5 it is about to go into flowering mode so I would just toss the whole thing plant pot and soil then start over fresh, sticky cards work great for controling Fungus Gnats they are also attracted to moisture so you might be over watering as well so make sure there's at least 1'' of dry soil on top before watering. Cheers Dan

Use your veg setting until you see flower start. If you have her all fixed up she could still do good. I dont like wasting time and money so as long as their healthy again before going into flower they will still produce good. Cheers

What percentage is the best for full spectrum lights? If blue and red only, how high a percentage for each? I hope the internal auto flower clock isn't going to run out. Should I apply castil soap with neem oil? The gnats are gone, and I am still spraying dry D .E.earth😅

www.youtube.com/watch This will cover what we know about wavelengths and impact on plant growth as well as disspell some commonly held beliefs/myths. it's long. it's boring for some, but that's the best answer in regard to what part of spectrum does what. i use the same spectrum from beginning to end. If i want to avoid stretching, i give more intense light - through dialing up power or shorter distance from light, it does not matter as long as rest of garden remains covered properly. if the gnats are gone, i'd try to get back to normal. less pesticides the better. if you didn't follow a wet-dry cycle with your substrate, start doing so. this will help prevent gnats. let top 1" get dry - feel the weight of pot when wet and dry for another way to know when to water. Irrigate/fertilize with 20% runoff each time you do. Toss runoff on lawn or down the drain, but not back on your marijuana plants, nor let them sit in it. On top of keeping substrate at an optimal nutrient level, the dry portion of the cycle up top will limit pests. neem oil is fine in vegetative phase, but never spray on flowers. An application lasts up to 2 weeks, if not mistaken. DE is awesome. it's like a wall to anything that doesn't fly... spread it around where it remains dry and not soemthing you'll step in or otherwise disturb as it will get messy and when wet doesn't function for pest control.
