Plants looked big and healthy week 5 . I have never tried incremental reduction of light hours. Having different expression from plant strains, phennotype, is a good thing. In a perfect world one grows many plants of one strain , clone all the girls in vegative state. At the end of flowering one or two plants will be your favourite for size , flavour , growth characteristics. That's why clone stock ( can be) superior to growing seed.
