Yes! Not a lot but you are right, give water only when the pot is light , until there is a little bit of runoff.
Nutrient start with like 1/4 of recommended dose.
If u want now u can do a flush with a lot of water to flush away the residue of salts in the soil or wait and not feed them for sometimes.
