Orange gasm Grow

Red_eyed_optimist I have 2 IRIE GENETICS Orange Gasm's on the go...they will be fed calmag, GH 3 part nutrients and will receive RECHARGE once a week.

Red_eyed_optimist I had them in double solo cups until day 12...the roots were exploding so I decided to transplant into there final 3 gal pots. sprinkled recharge on the roots and are now living in Fox Farm Ocean Forrest.

Red_eyed_optimist I'm feeding them every other watering with a shot of RECHARGE once a week...Enzymes are given every watering. I've added an Exhale bag this week...My high end ''WISH'' air quality detector is now reading around 950ppm, it was usually reading around 500ppm. Probably topping day 21.

Red_eyed_optimist I'm trying to keep the giant fan leaves tucked under so the side branches get more exposure to the light. Almost at the end of 4 weeks and they're neck and neck...each standing at 10".

Red_eyed_optimist I did a little defoliation and removed the giant fan leaves...the gasm on the right has got a 3" height advantage standing at 15" and is probably going to be a mother to a couple of clones.

Red_eyed_optimist So...at the end of week 6 my gasm's are standing at 14 and 18 inches. I tied down a couple branches on the taller one to bring it from 20" to 18". I propped up the smaller one so I have an even canopy.

Red_eyed_optimist At the end of week seven my gasms are standing at 16" and 20"...I took 2 cuttings off the 20'' and are now sitting in small jars of water+RECHARGE where they will stay for a couple of weeks or until I'm happy with the root growth. starting 12/12 tonight and I'm going to start cleaning up the bottoms of the plants in the next couple of days.

Red_eyed_optimist Nearing the end of the 1st week of flower my gasms are coming in at 24'' and 19'' tall. After trimming off a pile of leaves...it still looks like a dense bush. I've added Terpinator this week and next week I'll be adding liquid Kool bloom.

Red_eyed_optimist At the end of week 2 of flower I'm running out of height space in my tent...My gasms are standing in at 29" and 24" tall. I had one cola standing at 32'' so I bent her over and brought her down to 29''. I'm probably going to have to bend over a few more or dim down the light which I don't want to do. I added liquid kool bloom this week and I keep defoliating every couple of days. I'm starting to use my homemade scrog netting where I feel it's needed.

Red_eyed_optimist On day 21 of flower my gasms are standing at heights of 33'' and 25''. I'm starting to see some of the bud sites sparkle and yet to notice any smell. I've run out of room to raise my light so I had to dim it a little bit.

Red_eyed_optimist On day 28 of flower my gasms have topped out at heights of 35'' and 26''. I'm seeing a lot of trichome development on the leaves and the bud sites are starting to stack. I moved my A/C Infinity to the outside of the tent so I can gain another 4 inches for my light height.

Red_eyed_optimist On day 35 of flower I'm noticing the smell of grapefruit in the tent. I found 2 mutated leaves while defoliating, 1 got clipped...the other one I'm going to let grow. They got their last feeding of Recharge this week.

Red_eyed_optimist At the end of week 6 of flower the smell of citrus is getting stronger. The taller plant has a lot of orange and yellow trichomes on the leaves giving off the smell of grapefruit...while the smaller plant has a lot of white trichomes giving me the smell of oranges.

Red_eyed_optimist At the end of week 7 of flower I'm liking what I see and smell...I've got 3 more feedings before I start my flush using only filtered tap water.

Red_eyed_optimist At the end of week 8 my gasms smell like a citrus field. Started the flush on day 55...hoping to harvest around day 65. Starting to check the trichomes on the buds, looking for 80%-20% milky to amber ratio. Starting to get excited boys...

Red_eyed_optimist It's day 63 of flower and I think it's that time...I'm going to chop them down tomorrow(day 64) and give them a quick wet trim before I hang them in the tent. My harvest post will be around 10-12 days from now after the dry.

Red_eyed_optimist So after 17 weeks My Orange gasms yielded 8.5oz dried and is now curing in my closet. The smaller plant definitely has the stronger citrus smell...while the larger one gave me 2 more ounces. I can't wait to smell them a month from now. After 10-12 days of burping I'm going to throw some boveda's in the jars and keep an eye on them. I'm very happy with the outcome...got some nice smoke that's gonna last me months and is gonna compliment my Gorilla Zkittlez quite nicely.. cheers.
