First grow, Diesel Berry Auto

Welp. Haha. Mistakes were made. Pretty sure I screwed up the germination. I had them sealed in a glass tupperware, and in 24hrs light. The tap roots were tiny and only exposed on 2 seeds. So only 1 had sprouted, and the rest literally disappeared into the soil. I couldn't find any trace of them. Bummer, but I'm learning so I will learn from my mistakes! Haha. First day or two seemed to be going ok. But she soon slowed to a crawl and began to take on quiet a lime green color. I didn't receive my EC pen or PH pen yet so I was just using my tap water the first couple days. When I got my tools, my tap water was 8.3ph and 250ppm So I've began using RO water and using cal-mag to raise to 190PPM, as well as some molasses and great white watered in. She began to very slowly progress, and wasn't looking very good. I'm thinking I stunted her.

Day 8 I doubled the cal-mag hoping it would do something. Watered again with the molasses and sprinkle of great white. 480PPM, 250ml I was totally not thinking about checking my PH after adding the cal-mag, molasses, and great white. I'm almost positive it was too low, and read online the molasses would lower my PH. Second learning mistake. By day 10 she was ready for more water. I used the same mix from last time. My solution had raised to 530PPM. 50ml only this time. Morning of day 12 I was really frustrated at the progress and figured I'd give her a dose of nutrients and either make it do something or else move on to different seeds and start again. I was sure the lime color was from lack of nitrogen, and I began to question if the potting soil I had gotten from my local farm and Garden center really had zero nutrients (still learning). I was under the impression you never wanted to start nutes that early, but it was worth a shot. So I gave her a small dose. Recommended dose for seedlings/clones @ 1ml/L. AN Ph perfect micro, grow, bloom. Watered 150ml PH 6.2 440PPM I tried to water to some runoff, but didn't want to over water. What I did get I tested: EC 1.9 PPM 1300 PH 6.6 Pics of day 12 were by the end of the night after morning feed. Finally she is doing something! Day 13 I was working on adding some stuff to my room and tent. Made and exterior exhaust vent to vent of all the exhaust outside, also added an intake from the window with an inline booster fan for supply of fresh cold air. Bought a seedling dome with 17W T5, and a heat mat for my next seeds as I made mistakes the first time around, so I moved her into the dome for the time being. She is loving it in there now, at 80%RH. I'm sure I should have used one of these the whole time instead of wasting all that energy on my MH400w and 300w LED🤦‍♂️🏽. So now it's in the dome, happy and looking good. Not sure when I should move it into the real tent with more airflow and fans etc, so if anyone has advice I would def appreciate it! Welcome back Growmies. Day 15 - looking happy and healthy Day 16 - no update. Day 17 - she's ready for a feed. Still playing it safe with the seedling dosage @ 1ml/L Watered with a solution of AN Micro, grow, and bloom again, along with cal-mag 0.3g/500ml (approx 200PPM before adding base nutes) Also sprinkled a light top dress of great white and watered in. Watered 100ml of the nute solution. Final: PPM 580 EC 0.8 Temp: 24 PH: 6.5 Day 18 - pic update. Happy and healthy. Finally seems to be steady growing Day 19 - feeding time again. Using the same nute mix from day 17. Another 100ml watered Final: PPM 580 EC 0.8 Temp: 24 PH: 6.5 Mixed the soil for the 5gallon permanent pot for this plant. FFOF, Perlite, 80/20 1.5 cups Dolomitic lime 1.5 ft3 FFOF 9L perlite Rapitest (3 way probe tester) not sure how useful this is but this is the fert rating number of the fresh FFOF. The soil mix I had her in so far after I started the seedling dose of nutes was 2. FFOF mix = Fert: 5 Day 20 - no pic update. Plant Height: 3" Moved light down to 24" to see how it does a bit closer Day 21 - Top leaves look either windburnt or light is a tad too close? Going to take fan off for the night, and move light to 26" from "24 Maybe should have only tried one fix at a time so I know what is was, or what helped.. I've also dialed down the RH a little bit. I'll try to keep it under 60 maybe going forward. (Dry Canada fall/winter, so I use humidifiers and have small swings from maybe 50-65) Thanks for following along! Also I will try to be more consistent with lighting in my pictures. I sometimes forget to turn off the led that has blues and reds.
