11/15: Day 70 of Veg. Flushed both tanks with a good solid rinse too. Ran water, hydro, and added 80-80-80-30 nutrients to start. Lights are nearly ontop of the canopy now. The heater is set to 68 and the fans are running four times per day (due to the outdoor temp being low). The Water temp is 64. Might need to look into some netting this week. Notes: Topped it once, LST'd it pretty well. With more patience, I could definitely top it more and LST it better for a bigger yield next time. (baby steps)
11/16: Day 1 of Flowering. Turned both veg & bloom lights on. Hour or so later... Turned both Veg lights off, going two Bloom lights: the leaves thought all lights were too bright. Trimmed most of the fan leaves
11/18: Day 3, nutes seem balanced out now. Color really changed from Day 70 to day 73, it's more brown and crisp looking.
11/21: Day 7, still looks about the same. Branches turning up a bit. Water level down 1/2 inch for first time, that’s about a gallon for the week. Ph 6.33 - ppm is down also which is great, still 640, and 1372 down from 1859.
11/22: last day for first flowering week, left the humidity on too high. Flushed out and full nutrients; 80-80-80-40 again
Root Rot DIY
I came in knowing as my first grow, let's just see how it goes and learn more. I decided to push the limits with topping, low-stress training, accidental high-stress training, hot & cold water issues... hot & cold temp issues. Root rot, worms, flies... pretty much exactly how you would picture a first grow going.
BUT the plant keeps growing, she wants to be harvested so bad. The fruits of which will be enjoyed for the so many good times. LFG
11/5 - The last measurement before Flowering was 4 inches high and 10 inches end to end. Topped it once and LST'd it pretty good for about a week or two.
10/25: complete flush and rinse. Added hyrdogaurd after, water chiller and lines seem dirty still. Mold in spots on the cabinet, need to fix some spots. Lowered the humidity this week, increased the nutes.
