thanks to PEV for providing the seeds for my new autoflower grow.. this one here will be the diary of the Amnesia Lemon Autoflowering and there is another diary for the Blueberry Autoflowering..
germination was easy and i put them into 7 liter pouches with Plagron.
day 8: the amount of growth on the Amnesia Lemon this first week was crazy.. it’s only day 8 and she’s so much taller than the blueberry that was germinated at the same time in the same circumstances.. (to be fair, those are completely different types of strain).
Really looking forward to this grow!
day 15 and the beginning of a new week.. she’s looking great and it’s time to start training her.. so that’s what i did..
day 18: she seems to be responding well to the training so far.. i planted her not in the middle of the pot, so i would have an easier time bending her, and that seems to work quite well
day 22, therefore a new week.. i have been training her to stay very low, but to provide light to the lower branches..
she has now gone into pre-flowering (the pistils start showing on the tip), so from now on i will limit the lst a bit, to get her to grow upwards
day 29 and she’s definitely into flowering already.. right now she’s still getting vegetative nutrients until the growth spurt has set in and stopped, then she’ll be switched over to bloom nutrients
day 36 is yet again the beginning of a new week.. so far everything seems to go fine.. i raised the amount of nutrients a bit, as she was turning some of the older leaves a bit yellowish, which indicates a lack of nitrogen.
This week she’s still on growth-nutrients, which are needed for the growth spurt
day 43 and the last week wasn’t very special.. she’s doing well and seems to enjoy the nutrients she’s getting.
i have switched over to bloom now, as i don’t think that there will be any further growth spurt.
day 50 and yet another week has passed..
this past week i changed from growth-nutrients to bloom nutrients, as there doesn’t seem to be any further growth in height, and she can focus on flowering..
day 57 and it’s a new week.. there’s not much to say, other than she’s doing well..
she currently gets watered with about half a liter every 2nd day and it seems to be ok for her
day 64 and she looks like she’s going to be ready really soon.. the trichomes aren’t quite there yet, but it can only be a matter of “not too long anymore”
it’s day 71 and she’s almost ready to be harvested.. i still wait until the trichomes have shown the right coloring, which now should only be a matter of days.. i’ve seen in the past that this sometimes can get dragged out a bit, but here you just have to have some patience..
checked the trichomes and a nice percentage has turned amber, so i decided to harvest her, as well as the blueberry that she shared her life with..
the amount of trichomes was great, so i am looking forward to testing her after she’s been dried and cured
