Wow we're 4 weeks into flowering and the mass and sparkle she's already developed is amazing. I feel very confident in saying that if I hadn't moved her to where more sunlight was...it wouldn't be looking this strong or promising.
I have many things that live in or visit my garden, and I've found this Cookie has a few guardians but also some critters making a mess. The birds are dropping shells everywhere, and I even spotted a couple of tiny spots of "waste" on a few leaf tips. I don't mind the sunflower shell but if they could but if they could shit somewhere else I'd sure appreciate it!
The buds have gotten a decent boost in trichomes, but more noticeable is that her pistils are starting to change colors as well. I'm so thrilled by this because she was a late flowering plant and I would hate to see her develop slowly and get attacked by the first frosts.
Her smell has started to become mildly intense and obvious to anyone who gets near her or down wind. There's also several plants getting their fall colors which is making her previous impeccable green camouflage a little less than perfect lately. That combined with the smell is something I'll have to think on fixing since harvest time is still several weeks off.
Cheers to everyone, happy gardening. ✌️
"Happy summer to all in the western hemisphere"
bruh... that's not how seasons work 🤦♂️
also. a ph of 8 will be terrible for you. at first you won't have a problem but after a couple weeks - you'll see.
I know many ppl are strapped for cash right now (myself included) but with just 15$ you can resolve this and get peace of mind. Get a PH- that will last you ages AND a PH test kit with drops. those things IMO are better than having a PH pen and you can get over 500 tests out of one. Once u get the hang of it you will only be doing tests like once a week so you see how long it will last you. I think u really should consider.
if you want DM me and I'll show you the ones I mean. get both products delivered to your door in 48 hours.
best of luck to you growmie. Wishing u a successful grow and bountiful harvest
@DaSofaSurfer, I definitely agree with you that more often than not, when I don't ph it goes a little wonky.
And a secret between us... there's a couple weeks coming up where things get a little questionable, but I'm not sure if its because of underwatering(chronic drought, i was so busy for several weeks), outgrown container and the roots bound up, lack of extra nutrients because I only feed once a week, or because of ph.
When i checked the initial startup ph it was showing 6.6 and my area usually has the 2 different phs, springtime and fall. Fall usually spikes up to about 7.7-8.3
@Treighfunky, thanks tre. You should see the finish! Holy crap she got so purply red with the cold temps. I'm cutting her today before it freezes tonight.
@Treighfunky, thanks Treigh, this one has definitely turned out to be beautiful and strong. I've gotten lucky with a few good, unique and beautiful plants this year. 2020Garden good...2020year not so good. Lol
