Soooo, a new grow, only my second one, and first diary.
First week was already a special one ^^
I popped the seeds directly into the soil, and 5 days later, behold we have a seedling. And there's problem nr 1, we only have 'a' seedling, not 2, the cookie didn't sprout :(
No big deal, popped in another seed directly into the soil, and 5 days later we uhm get something which resembles a seedling. So far not that impressed by the royal cookies, never the less it's the first germ-fail out of 8 seeds (in my first grow I planted 6 seeds directly in the soil which all sprouted).
Then there was the other issue... One of the 5 month old Mars-Hydro TS1000 went black :(
Luckily they do have a good service and a new driver+dimmer is on the way.
But hey, one light will do for the first weeks.
And the Green Gelato Auto did good, the Royal Cookies Auto is about 6 days behind, but should have a shorter flower stage so they might end up ready at the same time.
Started off week 2 with some root stimulant. And looking at the Gelato everything is fine, the Cookie is still going slow.
Just using airated water from now on, the only extra feeding they'll be getting will be top-feed with worm castings, probably around week 3 of flower.
Ow and the soil I'm using is just from the local garden shop, it's fully organic with about 100 days of slow release furtiliser in it, and added 20% perlite. Tried it once before on a Haze Berry auto and got tastefull results, to bad I used that Haze Berry for experimeting and nerfed the yield :(
So week 3, finally got the replacement driver for the Mars Hydro TS1000. The replacement works like a charm so we're back to having 2 lights in the tent.
The girls are staying pretty short, so I graduatly raised the lights during week 3 and hope for a bit more stretching next week.
Started LST on the Gelato, the Cookie (shorty) has to wait one more week.
Stay green!

Week 4 of the Green Gelato Auto mainly consisted of tying down upcoming branches to make her wide.
Week 3 of the Royal Cookies Auto was just boring, slow growth.
I had a hard time growing these, the lights broke down, the temps dropped to hard during veg ending up with small plants, didn't even bother to finish the royal Cookies. The Green Gelato was a very tasty smoke which I'll definatly grow again.
Keep on growing
