Pineapple Kush looks like it got scarred on the cotyledons. The one Red Mandarin is progressing much faster than the others. Blueberry Cheese popped a lot later than the others. I thought I was a bunk seed and replaced it with a free bubba kush from seedsman. Everything is going beautifully otherwise. I loved using the cowpots. The roots really do go right through.

I will probably top next week. Super fast growth from the Red Mandarins; they are both at 4 nodes working on 5. Bubba kush smells kind of like a light mint. Red Mandarin #2 has no smell. Lemon Shining Silver Haze already has a mild but very distinct citrus like aroma and has some purpling in the new leaves. Fat Banana smells like a mild tomato plant, and it's leaves went from one to five, the third set of new growth is 7, skipping three. Pineapple kush smells like Fat Banana and is doing really well. Red Mandarin #1 has a super strong tomato smell. The Reds are all growing more like a sativa, meanwhile the rest are remaining very squat and bushy.

All plants but bubba kush have been topped and are being tucked every chance I get to come in the tent. Really fragrant smells coming from the plants now, but little of the odor is airborne. Rubbing the plants left behind an orange/lemon pith smell with a hint of tomato plant. I cut two fan leaves from the fat banana today on 11/4 so that light could get down to the lower level. It was growing so compact I feel like it was actually hendering growth. I'm sure it will stunt it a little but I think even light will be better for it.

Lots of growth and development. I'll be putting up the air filter soon. All the plants have been topped. All plants have been responding to stress training very well, except Red Mandarin #2. Her stem split but had a very fast recovery and is doing really good. Red Mandarin #1 grew up to the light very quickly and got a bit of a sunburn before I raised the light some more. I've used blurples before and I'm very impressed by this maxsisun pb2000 so far.

Tent is filling out nicely. I love the dark shades on Red Mandarin #1. Almost a blue compared to the lime green hues of it's neighbors. Bubba Kush is hauling butt to catch up with the others. Red Mandarin #2 is recovering well from the split. Everyone else is doing really well under LST. I will probably be switching to flower in about a month or so. Today sometime I will probably tuck some of the bushy fan leaves under the strings, allowing light down to the undergrowth. I ordered a Yuanhui light from Alibaba; hopefully that comes soon to help fill out the tent some more. Right now they are placed so close together as to maximize the amount of light they get from my 1 board. Every now and then I like to bake the foliage I get and I figured I'd attach a recipe. The taste reminds me of pumpkin seeds and potato chips. They even crunch audibly. Very satisfying. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly oil the leaves, I use olive oil. You don't have to but I like to season them with a little salt and cayenne pepper. Depending on how big and thick the leaf is cooking times vary. I'd say 5-7 minutes for little leaves, 7-10 for bigger leaves. But really just until they are cripsy to the touch without looking burned. I know mine are done when the stem dries out too instead of being soggy.

New light arrived on the 28th, Yuanhui 250w. It didn't come with rope ratchets so I'm waiting for them to arrive and then I'll have my permanent light setup. Plants are filling out very nicely! Edit 12/31: I should have started feeding this week.

Colors are looking a bit more lime than I'd like on the Red Mandarins. Might be the warm light I got but it's worrying me, I'm going to feed them a little more than the other strains which seem to be doing fine. Getting very close to flowering. I'm thinking about switching in 2 weeks. Fat Banana is so dense it's hard giving her top sites equal light access, and her true polyploid colors are shining.. as well as her pistils! Lemon Shining Silver Haze could have had better structure but I was lazy training her. Really loving the purpling in the stems of Red Mandarin #2. I miss the exotic dark almost blue hues of Red Mandarin #1. Bubba kush is still trying to keep up. Pineapple kush has been one of my favorites so far.

One week from flower. I put up netting to support the future heavy stalks. I didn't start feeding them on time so they started to suffer but are bouncing back really quick. Super excited and ready to see these ladies stretch. :)

Finally the last week of veg. I flipped the lights last night. They're looking very healthy. Once I see some stretch I'll take clones and do some defoliation, probably about a week.

All plants lollipoped, some are faster to flower than others. Red Mandarin #2 has some purple looking flowers already and I hope my eyes aren't deceiving me. The smell is pretty standard still, smells like vegetative plants. Stretching so far isn't too crazy. I took the clones I got from lollipoping and stored them for further use. I will trim excessive foliage from the bottom, fill a bag with a little water, put it in the bag without any leaves being submerged, blow it full of my breath, and put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks until I need them. I blow new air into them all about every week. Edit: 12/27 Red Mandarin #2 is a purple pheno!

Supercropped one tall branch of the Red Mandarine #2. Hope it doesn't hurt the yields. Plants have been recovering and are mostly green now. There's some serious stretch going on in this tent! Flowering is happening really quick especially with the Mandarines. I moved the lights after I discovered a lux meter app. I had as low as 10,000 in some places, so not only are the lights closer to the canopy but I angled them to get more light down to the shorter plants. Just reset the clone fridge and they were all looking healthy except two which I didn't put enough water in.

Everybody's doing good. I did some more lollipoping on Red Mandarine #2, Fat Banana, and Pineapple Kush. general defoliation on Red Mandarine #1, Lemon Shining Silver Haze, and Bubba Kush. Budlets are forming nicely. Not very smelly yet. I reset the cuttings fridge earlier today. I got rid of the strains I don't think I'll keep. They all looked good, I'll let them chill for another week and then bring them out to start rooting. Not much to do with the flowering plants now except water and feed for about 3 weeks. Then I'll start a slow flush and harvest when the leaves turn yellow; hopefully around the end of February.

Plants look like I'm overfeeding/nitrogen deficiency. Today I fed them a dose of grow big, I haven't added any grow big in 4 weeks, so they'll appreciate that. I'm going to go a couple days or so without feeding and see if they perk up a bit. Buds are still swelling nicely. Cuttings are out of the fridge 3 weeks later; looking like I just took them! From what I've researched they should take a little longer to root than normal. So hopefully by harvest these ladies will be ready for vegging. Thanks for reading!

Wonderful results so far. Starting to smell a little. Everybody's looking frosty and plump. Turns out my nutrients went bad. I bought new and noticed the color was totally different, so who knows how much I've really been feeding them. I moved Fat Banana up onto a cardboard box to bring it level with Red Mandarine #1, and moved the light. Next time I grow I will place the taller strains together under the same light.

2 more weeks. I added a light I had in storage. Hopefully the buds fatten up a little bit. I had like 3 1/2 plants under the one light and you can tell, the buds on those plants could be bigger. More terps than ever so far. not super pungent but definitely smelly when disturbed or touched. Fat Banana smells like Fruity Pebbles, a kind of a citrusy tropical strawberry kind of thing going on. Red Mandarine's and Lemon Shining all smell the same, a little pepper and a lot of citrus. Pineapple Kush smells a little citrusy, but mostly pine and pepper. And finally bubba kush smells super skunky. Clones rooted and transplanted. Crazy to think I took them 5 weeks ago! I'm especially interested in this Red Mandarine #2 monstercrop. Either way on the next run I'm running two more Red Mandarine seeds so the next following weeks are sure to be interesting!

Amazing colors and bulking up! These buds are fat and smell beautiful. I can't wait to chop them down. Patience is the name of the game here as I will harvest in one week for red Mandarine #1 and Fat Banana. Maybe Red Mandarine #2 too. And in one week and 3 days I will do the second round harvest. That's the game plan anyway. If anyone has any reason why I shouldn't do that let me know. Everybody smells the same just stronger. Everybody's frosty. I had hoped the back plants would bulk up a little and they did. Just not that much. Still worth switching the lights that late I think. Don't miss my diary next week!

I got this seed free. Really easy to grow. Decent stretch for an indica. Has really broad and super thick dense hydrophobic leaves, is very productive, growing many tops and staying ahead as I planted her a couple weeks later than the rest. The buds are dense, with a golfball shape and average trichome density. She responds well to LST and HST, and was a pretty average feeder. She didn't grow any purple pistils but did develop fall colors on her leaves before harvest. Smells skunky and a little bit citrusy, definitely not a hits you in the face terpene profile, but it's hardiness, quick growing, and plentiful dense buds make up for it for sure. Overall she was a quality plant and I would recommend growing to anyone with a free seed, however I don't think I'd go out of my way to purchase this strain.

Amazing strain. Short, close internodes, little stretch. She has weak stems early in veg, as her stems are hollow, LST is dangerous and HST impossible. She is an average feeder. Fat dense golfball buds with average trichome density. Colorful at harvest, however no purple pistils. I had one branch develop fasciation. One branch dipped down further than the roots and I had to dig a hole out for it lol. She smelled like fruity pebbles during flower. Now that it's jarred up it smells like banana. Not like an actual banana but like banana flavored candy (laffy taffy). I can only imagine how dank it will smell after a cure. I ditched my clones of this amazing strain and hate myself for it. Keep Fat Banana! Buy Fat Banana! She has an amazing terpene profile. I would recommend picking up a Fat Banana seed, as I will be getting another.

She did a great job. I barely trained her, she had about low light levels and was under cared for being in the back. Yet she gave me a decent yield, and her terpene profile is solid too! She responds well to LST and HST during early veg (I didn't train her after), and is a pretty average feeder. The buds are like halfway between dense and fluffy. The buds are christmas tree shaped, with little chance of foxtailing. Average trichome density. She developed no fall colors and I figured she wouldn't be very pretty, but once ground you can see a whole load of purple pistils inside the bud. Huge surprise there. She smells like sweet lemon candy. So pungent it's hard to inhale but you want more. Great if you're looking for a faster flowering plant with sativa effects. Very good plant I would recommend.

My "green" pheno #1 was an outstanding plant that showed amazingly vigorous growth and superb speed and is overall my second favorite plant. My first favorite is my Red Mandarine #2. This was the fastest, tallest plant, with the best internodal distance, and the best structure. She showed beautiful fall colors, with a couple purple pistils amongst a sea of green pistils. Her leaves however turned amazing shades. She smells of citrus. Not an orange, but a general citrusy sour smell. During flower she smelled tropical and citrusy, I wish she kept this smell, and might develop it into the cure. She responded very well to LST and HST, this plant recovered in hours. She really gives no f's. She is a slightly hungry feeder, mostly for Nitrogen. Her bud shape is that of a christmas tree, even more so due to the fact that this pheno is very prone to foxtailing. My heat management kept foxtailing to a minimum but she looks to have mostly sativa bud structure. Not very fluffy, but also not very dense, she has huge buds and very strong stalks to support them. My favorite strain so far! 100% recommend!

Honestly the rating may be my fault, but I will explain. I had a strain a long time ago called Hawaiian BamBam. It smelled just like pineapple sage. I am hunting for this terpene profile. This plant smells nothing like a pineapple, and has no tropical smell. It smells like the holiday pine scented air freshener or candle, and black pepper. It is a very fussy feeder, it didn't like anything I tried to do for it. Slow flushing for weeks seemed to help stop the burning towards the end, but she is assuredly a light feeder. It's structure was solid. She responded well to LST and HST. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 1 is because the trichome density was by far the most impressive I've gotten. It looked almost white from frostiness. She devoloped some fall colors, nothing noteworthy (probably because all the would be colorful leaves got burnt, no fault of the strain) and no purple pistils. Maybe it would have expressed a more pineapple smell had I had maybe done hydro. She had average bud density and structure. I'd say give it a go, especially if you're looking for a plant with really good structure, really think and intense evergreen smell, and super frosty trichome rich buds. However if you want buds that smell like pineapple, look somewhere else.

This is truly an incredible strain. This is by far my favorite pheno so far (I have two seedlings right now). It's gorgeous and everything I wanted. Beautiful fall colors. You can tell that it's a purple pheno early in flowering. This plant has a very sativa structure, grew very fast, is an average feeder, responded incredibly well to LST and HST. I accidentally split the main stalk of her during training and she recovered very quickly. She has mostly green leaves, with beautiful purple pistils. Trimming is a breeze, for anyone not green-purple colorblind. She had huge christmas tree shaped buds prone to foxtailing. Super strong stems helped support these massive colas, and she didn't have as good lighting as her sister, but her yield was comparable. Her smoke is super smooth and chlorophyll free, I'm smoking on her while the rest cure. She smelled citrusy during flower, now she's developed a very distinctive orange smell and taste. It's not lemon or lime it's definitely fresh oranges. Compared to my green pheno which did not display this terpene profile. Her colors and smell make her by far one of the most outstanding plants I have ever seen! 100% recommend this strain to anyone just make sure to get several seeds to ensure you get a purple pheno.

@spirttomb, every days a school day and hey no worrys I bought a book by Jorge cervantez cannabis bible tells u everything u could ever need to no. more for advanced growers but I took alot from it being a novice, along with mr cannuck on you tube aswell as hygrohybrid cannabis lifestyle pidgeons 420 and mr grow it all on YouTube. now to find this site I think im pretty confident and content with those sources for information. Also that book is worth a read its on amazon and the YouTube channels stated have really stimulated my noodle and been a blessing during lockdown hope im not over stepping here just passing on where I have been previously sourcing my info and as I say kept me busy and happy 😀. Happy growing buddy

@Syrunz, I added photos to this week of the clipping. Upon further inspection under the digital eye you are right it isn't the trichomes that are red but the flower itself. Thanks for the info! I think I misconstrued information from somewhere.
