Week one and my a/c broke during the SoCal heatwave - otherwise off to a great start! This is my first indoor grow, so hopefully I can manage these 5 babies in the 2x4 tent. Seeds germinated directly in pots with Roots Organic 707.

This week has been a breeze. Simply watered at 6.5, kept the humidity at 65%, and increased the power of my light to about 70%. Also made a tea with Roots Organic Terp Tea Grow, and watered it down 1 -4 tea to water. Even with diluting the tea, the plants showed a little burn, so I’m holding off on ferts til next week. All are looking great, besides the one LSD25 that is off to a slow start.

Was another easy week - lots of healthy growth. Simply watered when dry, did some daily LST and leaf tucking. The green crack is definitely the fastest growing out of all the plants, and the one runt LSD25 is a bit smaller but still chugging along.

Plants were stretching/bushing out this week and were officially in flower by the end of the week. Fertilized with 1/8tsp to 1/4tsp grow+bloom, West Coast OG received less nutes since the tips were burning a bit. I’ve been OCD with LST this week, and did some defoliating on each plant. I took quite a few leaves off the green crack, it’s growing like crazy and had many budsites in the shade.

Plants have officially started their flower cycle this week. Gradually increased light wattage from 75% to 100%, originally had the light at 15” but raised to 17” after seeing small signs of light burn. My cheap Amazon PH meter broke after 2 months so I’m currently using the GH PH tester solution - hoping to pick up a Bluelab pen by the end of the week. The green crack has been the fastest growing seed by far! It’s been a bit nerve-wracking defoliating her, I keep having to pull leaves to uncover her flower sites (I know I’ll have to do it again too). One of the LSDs I’m experimenting with- I put about 2 inches of super soil (Subcool’s recipe) on the bottom of the pot and am continuing to feed her on the same regiment as the others. She’s happy with no signs of nute burn! The West Coast OG on the other hand seems to be a light feeder and had a bit of nute burn, so I’ve been going extra light on feeding. As we get deeper into flower, I will be posting more individual photos of each plant so you can see the bud development.

Spent quite a few hours this week defoliating and retraining these girls. The green crack is still a monster bush despite quite a few defoliations- it’s looking like it may take a bit longer to finish than the rest. I have 2 LSD-25s growing: one has a layer of super soil on the bottom of the pot, and I’ve been continuing to feed on the same regiment as the other plants. It’s looking great! The other LSD-25 is simply grown in Roots 707 and is mutated- it’s been the most tricky thus far. As of mid-week she had great flower output but started showing a calcium deficiency, so I boosted her with Earth Juice Oily Can (as well as the other plants). Otherwise, just lowered the temp to 78 during the daytime to make way for when the trichs come in. Cheers!

Having what I think is a calmag/phosphorous deficiency with my mutated LSD-25. Gave her a feed with earth juice calmag + Roots Organic Bloom 5 days ago and it’s still progressing. Shall I flush and reamend? Looking for next steps. Thanks!

After looking at your diary, not sure why you are calling one of your plants "mutated". All looks fine, the purple colour is perfectly harmless. I would ease up on the nitrogen though, it looks like nutrient burning to me, and judging by your pictures, all your plants are very dark green, so could be adding up to soil toxicity. Another thing, do you realise that by removing healthy green leaves, you are depriving your plant of energy production. Leaves are like "solar panels", making all the energy your plant needs to grow properly. The simple fact is, less healthy green leaves = less energy produced = slower growth = smaller flowers. My advise is to try and only removing yellow leaves, and you might be surprised how much faster and better your flowers will grow. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Buds are packing on and getting deliciously frosty. The WCOG and LSD-25 are the most frosty, with the green crack just starting to put out trichomes this week. Everything except the green crack should be ready to chop within the next two weeks. I’m shooting for a cloudy to amber ratio of 30/70 for the indica-leaning plants, and a 10/90 ratio for the green crack. I have a second tent set up to put them in the dark for 48-hours & for drying. Harvest is coming friends 😈

WCOG- going to be chopped in the next few days. Most pistils have turned orange, trichomes are about 10% amber. Still rather green so I’ve been flushing with more water every other day, but this plant is incredibly frosty and smells of pine, skunk, and a hint of fruit. If my arm brushes one of the buds it becomes sticky with resin. LSD-25 (runt): doing fine, about 10% amber with some with pistils left. Buds are still filling out, but this one is definitely the runt of the litter. Happy she’s going to make it to harvest, she’s needed a bit more care than the others since day 1. Trichome production is just okay in comparison to the others, but it smells like grape now n laters candy. GC: buds are now expanding and pushing out their calyxes. Had a nitrogen deficiency finally resolved with 3/8 temp tea grow as top dress, as well as the weekly regiment w/ Roots Organic bloom and bloom booster dry amendments. Smells like it’s supposed to, like funky mangos and fruit. LSD-25 (super soil)- 50/50 cloudy/clear trichomes with only 1-2 amber so far. Has been the exact opposite of the other LSD- grew beautifully without a hitch. I had to stake a few branches to keep them from toppling over from bud weight. Also smells like grape now n laters, but backed with a stanky varnish/diesel fuel aroma. In other words it smells dank 😊 RR: her buds are continuing to thicken up! I could have waited a few extra days to start her flush, but it’s still going great. Trichomes are mostly cloudy at this point, with just hints of amber hues barely starting to show. Lots of stamens that haven’t turned brown yet, and already has the fattest top cola out of all the plants. Smells fruity with notes of pear and has pretty decent trichome/resin production.
