Day 29 - She's slowing down her vertical growth a bit it seems now, which is good because my light can't go much higher and she's already a bit close for comfort. I gave her first feeding of Plant Magic Oldtimer Bloom, switching over from the liquid seaweed she got during veg and seemed to be okay with it, though I only used half the dose recommended. I've noticed the tips of the leaves turning a touch yellow, which makes me worry it might be nutrient burn, though it's literally less than 1mm on the tip of the longest finger of the fan leaves so far, so I'm thinking I'll stick to water for the rest of the week and then try half dose again after 2-3 more plain waters.
Day 31 - I decided to prune off the yellowing lower leaves. They concern me a little bit as they lower leaves died off earlier than I was expecting, but it should be okay, the rest of the plant looks healthy enough.
Day 33 - Looks like trichomes have started forming around a lot of the bud sites on the main cola, which is an exciting step I guess.
Day 34 - I've been noticing that the leaves are getting lighter and lighter around the bottom and middle and looking it up, it seems it could possibly be an early sign of a Nitrogen deficiency. As a test, I've upped the nutrients per feed to full strength and hopefully that will nip it in the bud and give her a darker colour again, but we'll have to see. It's good though, if it works, I feel like I've learnt something valuable for future grows. Otherwise, she's still appearing healthy and thank god her vertical growth appears to have significantly slowed once she hit about 80cm tall.
Does anyone know what's going on with this bud? Foxtailing? Genetics? she's crazy sticky and smells great, but the buds just look weird. She's standing right next to an OG Kush and the plants are night and day, the Kush looking exactly as you'd expect.
Just looking for some advice on harvesting really. Looking at the thrichs, I feel like harvesting now might be a bit early. I think she suffered badly from heat stress. if it were yours, would you cut your losses and move on? She's at about Day 64(ish) from seed.
Hello there scotch_egg,
Yes you are correct, harvesting now would be too early. I would wait at least 10-15 more days before harvesting to get a bigger amber ratio.
Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽
@Sweet_Seeds,Hi Guys, now this Devil Cream coming into full flower, I'm already researching my next grow and have been looking at Cream Manderine, mostly due to its low expected size. Do you think it would be suitable for me, as my space tops out really at about 100cm for plant height. What do you think?
