Potted up into SmartPots ready to go into auto pot system.
80% Canna Coco 20% Coarse Perlite
Given a small feed and in under fluorescent for a week or so
Moved under 150w led on day 4. On 12/12 until tents is cleared out. Maybe a couple more days
Looking good. HBSS needing a week bit of support. Fed them 500ml each this morning - day 7
Day 12
Fed 2L with 1/4 tsp recharge
Filled res
10L water
10ml a + b
10ml honey chome
30ml goddess
Ec 1.0
Ph 6.6
First time growing auto's. They look a bit different than photo's. It looks to me like there is a slight Nitrogen deficiency but I am worried about overfeeding them.
Lights are on 50% (HLG 650 R)
Looked like I was getting some nute burn so diluted the existing res by 1/2 last week and went with half strength this week.
HBSS looking like it might have a nutrient issue of some sort. Will give it a couple of days and see how it evolves.
I think it’s ph fluctuations causing problems. Not affecting the SODK, but the HBSS is hating it!
Have decided to be a bit more strict with my ph. Moving to 6.2 this feed and to 5.8 next feed. Then keeping it there
Trying to fix the PH problems. With the nutrients at full strength the PH is usually about right. But with really low strength it seems to be too high. So I have taken it to 6.2 and now to 6.1. Trying to get to 5.9 then stabilise there.
New growth looks healthier.
I have changed the environment. The VPD is now right on 1.5, it had been up around 2. That should make a difference also.
Will evaluate how things are going in 3-4 days and decide whether I need to try something more drastic like switching back to Canna Coco nutrients.
The lower leaves on the HBSS are looking much better. The new growth is still very yellow. Added some cal-mag this week and the EC is a bit higher. Will see what effect that has and monitor for tip burn
I've released the hounds! Spotted a few little black flies in my stick traps so have put Dusky Ladybirds into the grow. Hopefully that will keep things under control. I cant see any signs of bugs on the plants. So hopefully this is just preventative.
I have upped the EC this week. Hoping to correct whatever the problem the HBSS is having.
Great bubblegum smells in the tent - loving it!
There was some bacteria or fungal growth in the tank last week which I cleared out and some in the tray. It had been there about a week. So hopefully with a good clean it wont come back. All plants seem to be tolerating the increased EC. But the HBSS still not as healthy as it could be.
Might do a big defoliation next week.
A blockage in the pipe last week starved it of water and it never really recovered. Top buds had around 25% amber so I took it out. The buds are thick and its bushy but I fucked it up at the end😆
Photos from day 78 of flower. Looking pretty good 😌
Cut the Double Grape at day 80. The oldest flowers were ready the latest growth maybe still had a bit of development to go.
Hubbabubbasmelloscope is looking very close. Maybe another couple of days.
Densely packed in the center of the plant. Would manifold next time. Smells grapes and funky!
Of the three it was the one that responded best to the notes. Lovely colors. Harvested when the oldest buds were showing significant amber. Younger buds not so much.
