Doing great! Still have them outside during the day and bring them inside in the evening for extra light and to keep them warm. Will be repotting them to slightly bigger pots in the next few days.

A bit late in posting these updates from three weeks as I have been out of town, They are growing nicely and are being tended to while I am away. Close to leaving them outside fully as they are getting bigger and we are creeping to 14 hours of outdoor light. Have repotted them as they were growing fast and the roots had reached the bottom of their small pots.

Came back after a week of being away (thankfully with the right people watching over) and the ladies' roots had already grown almost through or completely through the bottom of the pots I had transplanted them into less than a week before! I therefore decided they were ready to move into their adult pots, using Fox Farms soil as I have with all my plants, they seem to love it. I have not begun fertilizing them yet but I may start next week. I'm considering possibly dabbling in stress training, but I've always just let them be and was happy with the result. I understand you can get more/fatter buds that way, not sure if I'm ready to go down the road yet. This is my third grow, started late summer last year with clones, grew a crop through the winter (two plants reveg and a seed) so I'm curious to see what a full summer outdoors will do for them (these are all from seed).

A day early on week five - the girls are coming along nicely. Just leaving them out in the sun and making sure they are not too dry. Started adding some Fox Farms this week. Still contemplating some kind of technique, not sure I want to stress them. Perhaps defoliation? Open to comments. Cheers!

Started some Fox Farms Grow Big this week, and they seem to have taken well. Growing very nicely, I'm tentatively trying a very mild LST on one of the Trainwreck plants, the one that is the smallest so far. I've never done any LST and am curious to see if this even works. Am normally partial to just letting the plants grow on their own.

Added some Fox Farms Grow Big and Fish Guano this week and wow! Feels like every night they gain about an inch or so, especially the Blue Dream CBD, who is in a bigger pot than the others. It's been pretty warm so I've had to water them more regularly. I'm going to transfer them into 7 gallon smart pots next week.

An incredible amount of growth this week, especially for the Blue Dream CBD. I transplanted all the plants into 7 gallon pots. I was able to give three of them the smart pots but the Blue Dream CBD did not fit in the smart pots I bought so I had to put her in a different shape plastic pot. I do worry she may get root bound... this is only halfway through veg season and they are already pretty big. Any thoughts? This would be my first time growing through the whole summer and these Humboldt Seed genetics are clearly very good. I may top them at some point as they are growing very tall! Is there a point in veg when it is too late to do so? I have been using Fox Farms Grow Big and Fish Guano, yesterday for the transplant I used Superthrive. Otherwise good old Fox Farm Ocean Forest as always and water from the garden hose.

All ladies have grown a lot this week again, with the Blue Dream CBD growing at the rate of about 10 inches a week. That's almost a foot and I will admit to being a bit unprepared for this kind of growth rate, especially given that flowering season will not start until about late July... All said everyone seems healthy and happy. UPDATE - Interesting and unexpected development: the ladies (both Trainwrecks) seem to have flipped into flowering. I have no idea how this happened at this time of year. The seeds were not planted under lights, the plants have been sunlight only since they sprouted. Perhaps this explains the crazy growth all plants have been exhibiting. I'm keeping a close eye out on the two others to see if the same happens. Any thoughts?

Grow Questions

My plants are growing tall and fast. If I want to restrict their vertical growth at some point should top them? Is there a time when it is too late to top them and if I do top them will they just become bushy? I did not do this early on, obviously.

Definitely topping is ok now as she looks healthy and not started flowering yet. After topping you can tie down the largest stalks to allow more growth and light in Take a nice clone from the cuts
