-Flowering unknown strains came with a few surprises such as the extreme stretch on Unknown #1 but nothing too serious to affect yield (as long as Unknown #1 height will be kept under control)
-Mk. Ultra had stopped stretching and showing beautiful flower development without any deficiencies or burns.
-Unknown #1 with monstrous stretch (almost doubled the size!!) very unexpected when considering the phenotype of the plant, showed mostly "Afghanica"/"Indica" characteristics and thrived in their growth conditions but when flowering it had an extreme stretch typical for a "Sativa". I guess with today's hybrids its almost impossible to predict growth according to the phenotype.
-Unknown #2 had stopped stretching at the end of the first week of flowering and started to show buds a day or two later. Buds have little amounts of pistils but plenty of trichomes had already started to develop which shows great progress!
-Unknown #3 redeeming herself with amazing stretch and vigor after a change of diet. Her stretch had stopped a day in to the second week of flowering and she already started to show plenty of trichomes on the tops. Even with an expected lower yield I kept her because I wanted to experience plant distress (deficiency/toxicity/stress) to see how it can be identified and fixed.
-Fertilizing will slowly increase according to the plant's growth, current increase is around 10%-15% each week with an occasional 20%-25% increase, and keeping an eye out for any toxicities since it is very easy to overfertilize a flowering plant.
-Since I was not expecting Unknown #1 to stretch like she did, she was trained to spread out but now seems like it may cause some weight problems on the stems and will require staking.
**Mars Hydro lamp will be added to the current one due to difference in color temp, current one is 3500k and new one with 3000k which is more suitable for flowering and insufficient light intensity**
@Igrowneil, Thanks dude! and yeah number 3 is having some Calcium issues for quite a while now, been waiting on my calcium additive to be delivered.
Also had quite a few issues in the past week that I will update soon!
I always see you answering peoples grow questions and I have to say you are very well articulated and educated. I'm only on my third grow but I'm learning a lot and having so much fun while doing. You have your own place in the community and I'm glad to be apart of it 🙏
@TopNotchBud, Proud to be part of this community as well! and thank you so much!! you have no idea how much I appreciate you saying that!
I try my best to answer as many questions as possible from my experience and knowledge just to prevent new or even experienced growers from making the same mistakes I made over the years, because no one likes to see their plants suffering!
Btw your grow is looking crisp!👽
