GrowaTek Hey Guys, Welcome to my diary, Seeds were raised under lights starting late August @ 14hrs light schedule (Southern Hem) - Topped after 3x 4x sets of branch sites to achieve between 6x to 8x branches. As you can see i bent the branches towards the outside of the cages early as I'm trying to get them away from each other to increase total surface area. Will use Bamboo stakes from here on. Pots - 100ltr Rocket Pot with jute tree surround over top, camo netting over that. Homemade black concreters plastic water trays inset @ 2 inch filled with perlite only.. Medium - cocopeat with 10% Medium perlite Homemade drip ring with 3x 2l/hr Toro turbo plus II drippers per ring Sprayed Specialised urea/humic acid right before photo (cannot use regular urea), which is a good way to increase plant nitrogen without changing the nitrate/ammonium ratio... I like to do this weekly.. They respond especially well right before a rain, which happened a few hours later... Clones vs seeds - I noticed that if you put out clones before 13hrs daylight they bud up a lot faster than the same seed. I have read that seeds have 6 weeks extra grow time before starting to head. In my case, it wasnt quite that as the seeds were already 8 weeks old, but my conclusion is that you can put seed out slightly earlier that clones with less tipping before that Veg starts... That's all for now...

GrowaTek Has been a great week. All plants are showing signs of reveg. I also striped out the the scrap out of the centers of the plants to allow better airflow and to limit the reveg sites.. It would anyway be shaded out eventually, better to do it now... current daylight length is 13hrs:18mins

OH dear Lord, have mercy... That setup looks insane and amazing!! I did one plant in coco outside in a 30 litres fabric, hand watering, but with the drippers no way !!! Only thing I see is the cost of nutrients but sometimes money is no issue for that hobby! I am tuning in and wish you all the best for the weather and on your pheno!

@sativaman, thanks for your comment... this type of system is only feasible if you weigh up you own hydroponic solution from base material. Then the cost is around $5/1000Ltr final solution... Free nutrient calculator: https://scienceinhydroponics.com/2016/03/the-first-free-hydroponic-nutrient-calculator-program-o.html Vague cannabis profile: http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/articles/profiles.htm I just use a packet mix of trace element @ 40gms/10Ltr but there are many others to buy from commercial agriculture stores - https://www.formulation-technologies.basf.com/ProductDetails?PRD=30483053 Powdered fulvic acid @ 60Gms/100Ltr Kelp powder @ 25Gms/1000Ltr Saponims @ 4Gms/100Ltr Triacontinol @ 4mls/1000Ltr Simply tare each ingredient into a bucket on scales, seperating A/B & organics, predilute in a garbage bbin and stirr with a aluminium paddle the bucket into you main resivour and stirr with the paddle... ph adjust...

I see you are talking about rain have you ever did this type of setup before? You don't mind covering the top of your medium to protect it from the rain? Do you let the drippers go 24-7 with pH'ed nutrient solution?

@sativaman, Need some gravity feed from the reservoir. Timers are controlled by a digital, ball valve timer - on average 3x times a day during peak sunlight hours, when they need it most! No need to protect pots from rain.. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-LCD-Ball-Valve-Electronic-Water-Timer-Garden-Irrigation-Controller-New/273493142662?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3fad762c86:g:Y50AAOSw-KFXclvP&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACcBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%252Fn%252BzU5L90Z278x5ickkY3FSd4Ad8xn3oRtkVexxrAnswPWZAnIcW64lpCAWsur4SvcJ7wwlgaHUIAIRVQu5ATbH022CZXrc9eYpznjdw1MX0Y01SCtt2Hj%252BAQf5ZCFOlGU0MIptNXZk2M1OmGMSTAUN8TFbJO4mMWS1ehJQ9k2cklz5LN4DAeC3QzGPRNRY1zTokPxRFJnjlD9nuEAY3%252FqM1gfWqRqDec%252B0dKdTWhzSbyCgvt%252FwMtoegOtp3nH7cqffHYwmrnr%252FtCtLmBpEM9o01e5JfJ4cYMy3nLXRHpFZSXoPBjveI6ObQUUMQPYJvMmiBRFJEFEqi8lfP1ueZr4WM1kSg0WY9dAEiC1o2wwLLjZVaeM6hCAkoYq2hMt4eO3Eb2Lg5sxAnHNWxwu3FNJFZDvLc2kjW%252BBBmCULaSWPDSausKRZgpBH9VtFgf6fdmyRE8DpT%252BKHSkydVbwIReXyWcAuofvlGk8jcFjkHmRQYdil7zaK1p0meSe3DBP%252BZkT3tQuRl2W9O%252BZald0wCLE63WPBlwhTSyvKgTp%252F4f6CHTwDL%252Fc6DeF0Wy38hvIm3481HXxldBdk4Fn3opJ6x32Wku7frhJOd2CHk0FPxl2wP3RfEtGHtYkpEjwC5KXbq6mehE9QIXpwsQUiBLS7jMxwZqncb3%252BcsbN0Uap8j2pVbrudQ4IviajPNby1IuV3zS%252BbrlvRt16fjNMxXLPhZygXeChbGwxM%252FTo05YD0CymEG%252B4TSb0NJx59xbH9ofb9PFiZ9iLmEnXK%252BlISLaHmGR%252F7dFxm0FAR%252FPS7ws0Fdw%253D%253D%7Ccksum%3A2734931426627d9285fa974b4ab19c16fb786bbab6df%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524
